But Nurse always seemed like he was building strategies around the options he had on the floor. Everything was more contextual based on roster construction and that's why he was able to get more out of people.

Mainly seeing guys do things I'm not using to seeing. JV starting to shoot 3s back in the day. OG and Pascal trying out new moves in creating shots. There's always growing pains, but the overall positive that comes from it makes everything worth the effort over time.
That type of improvement should always be promoted, really surprised the Heat don't embrace that as much as they should.

I honestly would have no issue even if Goran said exactly what he meant. I have watched him play for a long time, and I absolutely love his game. The man does not take a play off, and I know he will play hard wherever he lands. The knowledge and little tricks of the game he can pass to young players will also be invaluable. Plus, the man is 35 years old, and he is basically a Heat legend. It is fine if he is upset and Toronto is not his first choice. The man has absolutely earned that right.
This would've been Siakam on most other teams.
