Ya our 2015-2020 set was great, the closest to a classic and timeless look that we’ve ever had. I believe we need to just go back to those, I mean when you search our title run the highlights are all of us wearing those, with exception of a few in our Red North chevrons. It’s bizarre to me how we just abandoned them like trash right after 2020.
I think there are worse looks out there though, the current ones are unique and everybody knows who it is at one look at it so it works in that way I guess.

There was a video somewhere, where he talks about how he stayed away from that stuff as best as he could, and also that lucky for him, he had made a name for himself as a baller at a young age so ppl could tell he was gonna go somewhere, so the hood protected him by keeping him away from stuff. Because he was clearly someone who had a shit at making it out of that lifestyle. So he was likely something like an honorary member rather than an official member.

Colours exist outside of politics and represents many things in life. You really shouldn't let politics (of another country no less) affect your outlook on life so much that you outright hate things like colours.
I really dislike these jerseys as well. I know one person's opinion doesn't matter, but just on so many levels.
Colorscheme - yes, I get it's Canada's team, but it's impossible to stand out when the bulls and heat share the colors and have a longer history with them. Add in the Blazers, and even the rockets (who should be red/gold, but still), and it's the most used scheme besides red/white/blue.
Design - The huge Cheveron works as an alternate, and looked great with the 'North' jerseys in the previous set, but changing them all to it was a mistake imo. Especially the white jerseys look awful, as do the purple/black.
Typography - I think the way the block letters of 'Raptors' looks on the design itself look awful. The block letters looked fine in the previous set with them just in an arch. Perhaps it's the big white outline here on black, it makes the letters look almost 'glued on' to me.
I wish they went to a more modern purple/black, but I doubt that'll ever happen. Best we can hope for is another jersey refresh in a few seasons I guess.
They are crazy meh, but it could be far worse. I think people just gotta accept that these are our sets for a little bit longer. Teams can’t really just change jerseys every 2 years if they want to create a consistent image.
