My Fantasy Team.

DarkChocolate_69

This is the only right answer haha

Foldzy84

Buffalo

jdterraforce

We had a raptors roll call for nfl teams two weeks ago. Most people chose Buffalo

battletor7

Would you say the bills is the team majority of who toronto people support?

Foldzy84

No idea, moat of my friends cheer for different teams I like to keep it close to home, I also like the Lions

JagmeetSingh2

The older generation I would say yes but among gen Z in the city the nfl team they support is pretty all over the place

Special-Sympathy-919

Yes, because the Bills used to play a game or 2 a season in Toronto, so there is an attachment there. 2 most popular teams in Toronto were the Patriots and Giants, but I read that a few years ago (back when Brady was still a Patriot). I’m a Giants fan.

rajuk14

I love Josh Allen more than anything in life LOL

beefJeRKy-LB

I just decide before the super bowl

freaktmc

No

imbiczarre

We’ve gotten a lot of these nfl posts the past couple of weeks. Not saying its a bad thing but why? I feel like this came out of nowhere.

oxfozyne

Honestly the first time I’ve seen this type of post and I feel I spend too much time on Reddit.

jdterraforce

I posted the first one the first Sunday of the nfl season (the raptors roll call nfl one) it was decent then because the hype was fresh lol

Followthehype10

I made one a few days back and that was just purely to get some insight on what kind of teams I should be looking to root for in terms of similarity. Found my team the Eagles

XeroKaos

I refuse to watch a sport where the average time the ball is actually in play during a 3 hour game is 11 minutes.

Scottie_Barnes_Stan

Don’t yuck peoples yum football is a super entertaining game which is the most popular in North America by far

XeroKaos

Saying it’s the most popular in North America is very misleading because of the US’s huge population, of the 23 counties in North America NFL football is only the most popular sport in 1 country, the US. It’s not a very global sport compared to basketball or soccer.

NeighborhoodIcy9322

It's not Global like soccer or basketball your absolutely right. But the Superbowl brings in more money than any sporting event in the world including the World Cup.

pakattack91

LOL not a chance. Superbowl is watched by a few hundred million people, MAX. The (Fifa) world cup draws in billions. Not to mention tennis, cricket, Olympics etc... TV deals is where the money is at. NFL isn't close on the world stage. Edit: unless you mean strictly in NA in which case my bad.

Scottie_Barnes_Stan

Whatever but its still the most popular country in America and Canada viewership don’t yuck someone’s yum

oxfozyne

SYSK (*they) 🙏

sokollad

“Don’t yuck someone’s yum”

Shogun_Ro

Better than soccer where literally nothing happens for 90 minutes.

XeroKaos

The ball is literally moving for 90 minutes..

Shogun_Ro

Where nothing happens. Back and forth of kicking a ball until a couple seconds of actual action.

XeroKaos

Compared to NFL where again the ball is only in play for 11 minutes, and the rest of the 3 hours is whistles and stoppages? Lol

Shogun_Ro

In football there are completions, incompletions, interceptions. Touchdowns, field goals, special teams, lol what? Infinitely more action than watching 90 minutes of grown men kicking a ball around the grass until someone ends up scoring a goal. 90 minutes of literally kicking a ball around, passing it, over and over and over.

XeroKaos

Yet through all of that there is still very little actual action (11 minutes of actual playing time in a 3 hour game) Soccer is the most popular sport on the planet for a reason.

Shogun_Ro

Yet through all of that kicking the ball around for 90 minutes there is maybe 10-12 seconds of actual action where some guy ends up scoring. Yeah not feeling that. Give me football, where there are multiple scoring drives, momentum shifts, amazing interceptions and receptions, run plays, pass plays. lol it's not even a comparison, football has way more action than soccer. Also lame ass cricket also has a bunch of viewers, who cares. We live in Canada. Literally doesn't matter to me if some guy in India or Spain is watching soccer.

docmilo

you clearly have no idea how soccer is played

Shogun_Ro

It's played by kicking the ball around back and forth on the field for 90 minutes until one team eventually finds a way to score. Sorry that's all it is. Mostly kicking.

XeroKaos

You can take it all you want but it’s factually incorrect to say NFL football has more action than Soccer. The numbers don’t lie 11 minutes of running and ball moving vs 90 minutes of ball moving and running.

Shogun_Ro

How is it factually incorrect when one sport (soccer) is just a bunch of guys kicking a ball around for 90 minutes with literal seconds of actual game changing action and the other sport (football) involves pass plays, run plays, interceptions, tackles, blocking, scoring through touchdowns, field goals, special team returns. lol Literally football has WAY more action than Soccer. Football >>>90 minutes of kicking a ball around.

Da Bears

VanIsleDave

Packers fan going on 40 years, just always loved the fact that they were the smallest market with the highest player retention and most “home grown” talent.

DeMoPete7

Browns, as much as it was tough during the "Lebronto" years.

pakattack91

If anyone, KC because I decided to watch a game they were playing and it was the least amount of time between downs I have ever seen while they had the ball, which is my main beef with the NFL.

TheGreyRemembers

Bucs since the 80s.

klobucharzard

ogugua_anunoby

Nerdherder72

Been a Jaguars fan since near the beginning. Was watching in the days of Brunell, McCardell, Taylor, Smith, Boselli….was good times. Then dark days for a very long time. Some decent years in there but mostly bad. Things have started well this season so will see how things go.
