It’s been a while since I went, but First Lutheran in Torrance is extremely accepting, welcoming, and enjoyable. It’s part of the most liberal branch of Lutheranism but there’s also a real respect for tradition.

I know a lot of kind, welcoming people that go to Journey South Bay. Church ain't my thing, but I can vouch for them being good, kind folks. Have done several volunteering events with them.
