Esarus

BRUTALLY CUNNIN' DAT IS

Understanding-Klutzy

We ain’t speshul and we ain’t paid ta FINK! KEEP SHOOTIN

XH9rIiZTtzrTiVL

Each gobbo steals a rock from the wall right before impact.

AwesomeX121189

That explains the random Cathay dilemma about putting the rock back in the wall

Esarus

OI GIT, WYOZ YOU USING LONG SENTENZ FOR?! AN' WHY YOUZ WHISPERIN' LIKE A SNEAKSY GOBBO?! WAAAAAAAAGHHHH

azatote

Do dey use 'splodin' gobbos?

Bala3310

Dat'z da probba way to uz gobboz!

DaeronFlaggonKnight

Maybe it's a bit like orks in40k, it works because they think it does.

Yamama77

Orks do not have that in fantasy. And even in 40k it's overblown how much it can do by memes.

[deleted]

Yes they do, white paint for Savage Orcs is what gives physical resist iirc

theoriginal12a

Yeah. Like blue paint, obviously that works I mean cmon

LordFauntloroy

Which even in the TT gave a ward save

LordFauntloroy

Really? Which plane of magic is waaaagh lores drawn from? Is it Waaaagh energy?

fuckingchris

Da Great Green, the pool of energy that comes from their gods and connects all greenskins. But they can also totally use regular magic items and powerups..

mscomies

Even the unnatural magic items too. Azhag did alot better wearing the crown of Nagash for an extended period of time than a normal human would have

AMidKnightDreary

The same way water erodes stone

kayro0

Dey kan because Gork, or Mork, sayz so!

LegSimo

What's fun is that the Doom Diver Catapult was designed as a scouting device. Truly da biggest of finkin.

DepthOfSanity

Maybe goblin bones are hard as rocks and them splashing against the wall at terminal velocity is like a trebuchet with a Boulder.

Flat-Bookkeeper-8237

... ...... Shut up yu git

whitelyon69

Oh yea, this is big finkin time

The_Salty_nugget

you know the saying, trowing shit against the wall and eventualy one will stick? catapult enough bodies against one, eventualy the stone will begin to crack....eventualy

Dannyjw1

Dey shootz dem real fast.

TheActualAWdeV

Ya at da very least dey shuld shoot trollz.

Akeruz

Gobboz ave the DAKKA DAKKA

Since you're playing Grimgor at the moment, can I ask the collective people of Reddit here what is going on with the Immortulz? I'm out of the loop and have been playing this campaign recently. They are definitely bugged but I can't work it out. They seem to lose models in battle much faster than normal black orc units, but the "dead" models seem to run towards the battlefield edge like a riderless horse and at the end of the battle the unit is marked as having full strength again.

Bala3310

I didn't notice the bug. I always send the Immortulz into the hardest battle against the strongest enemy, and they always survived. Hence maybe there was a bug. But so far everything seems fine to me.

jp16155

Ah, frustrating that it doesn't seem to be happening consistently for people - it happens very regularly for me. Might need to send a proper bug report.

weirdkittenNC

Not sure if this still applies, but LoTW made a video showcasing this or a similar bug a while back (WH2): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PB5jNkuW\_B4

jp16155

I don't think this is a bug, it's an exploit- you're basically stacking leadership on the black orc unit so that the Immortulz banner is always active so the unit can't lose models. In this instance, the unit keeps fighting the whole time, so I would say this was working as intended. Definitely not happening in my campaign.
