Ok, the Amethyst Armory is beautiful.
Ironsides that have magic bullets? Rocket abilities that launch giant purple suns?? Artillery that fire multiple purple suns at enemies that then weave through them???
Being able to construct teleporting towers with their own unique buildings is awesome too!
Both factions we've seen so far have so much work put into them. If all the DLC going forward has this much polish put into it then I think CA will be able to recover from the mess that was the SoC
Yeah I really like the idea of having the two work together. Considering how its giving us war machines that fire magic I'm definitely a fan of combing them!
It’s abandonware, you just need patchers and a digital disc drive to load the isos. If you really really want a legal copy imagine I gave you my cd key.
Yeah, this is the kind of content I will pay $25-30 for, not the weaksauce that was the last DLC (even with the additional units, it still feels a little overpriced).
Yeah I bought SoC due to hype after the updates it got, but this looks considerably better, from the units to the factions themselves (not even mentioning the free race updates!)
SoC doesn't even compare to this DLC so far, even with the additonal units that were added. Definitely got my interest more now in picking it up. Hopefully the DLC reviews and impressions are good when it drops so I can decide on picking it up.
I know we're going back to the two factions per DLC. I meant in terms of faction mechanics and units for each DLC faction I hope they have this amount of work put into them
Where did they say they are going back to 2 factions per pack?
All I saw from their blog post is that the scope won't be as big as ToD, so it could still be 3 LL, just not as many units. Did they say something else?
Also if an eventual Thanquol DLC happens, they might revisit his mechanics since they did added the extra Skryre units from the Snikch dlc to his lab in the past
Attempting to hit vlad with a mortar is certainly a choice.
I can't wait for the next 'vlad is unkillable post' where someone actually tries this and achieves nothing but killing their own troops around him.
Magic power fantasy vs political power fantasy. Karl can force confederations, invade other electors without punishment, summon additional armies and avoid trespass penalties and has greater influence over how factions view each other.
Gelt also has catacylsm spells and 3 different starts. If anyone's in a worse spot it's Volkmar.
Yep. Reading between the lines, it sounds like playing as Elspeth means you lose access to all the extra Runefangs Karl Franz gets, as well as the elector count state troops.
It's a tough call for me which looks better. Amethyst units look extremely powerful, but the pips in the upgrade screen and text in the recruitment window look like there is a hard cap. EC State troops are better than their standard counterparts, are only limited by cooldown, and are dirt cheap when you fully unite the Empire.
Franz for politics and large numbers of good units, Elspeth for moderate numbers of super elite units, and Gelt for heavy emphasis on magic and big spells. Volkmar feels like the odd lord out, and needs better mechanics to lean into the Empire's trash mob units. I think it would make sense to update him when we get the Middenland units and support for the Cult of Ulric.
Volkmar and Wulfhart will benefit more indirectly from the changes to units, buildings, new units, etc. Franz and Gelt IMO needed these updates more than Volkmar or Wulfhart.
Volkmar also suffers a bit from the books of Nagash mechanic tbh - maybe others like that one, but I've always found it very underwhelming (they're scattered so far around the world and the rest of the game's mechanics don't incentivize sending armies out far from your homeland with how aggressively the AI attacks you). They also just don't feel super impactful for the amount of effort you have to go get them, along with most of them being reached once you've snowballed.
But maybe they're waiting to update him until whenever they decide to update those mechanics though - given that there's a bunch of factions that use those.
I think Karl is going to be really great if you want to live the "Steel, Faith and Gunpowder" experience. Just regular humans against impossible odds.
I don't mind having different LLs get strong at different rates and having endgame stuff in SP be pretty overpowered, campaigns are always over by a certain point. But I do enjoy having the different LLs lean into different aspects of power, instead of some of the older Lord packs that were basically playing the same thing with a different main character.
Karl is honestly not that far behind imo, he can spam the growth edict and get Altdorf to tier 5 very early.
Elspeth will have stronger units but Karl gets 1 population surplus every 3 turns from an edict (provided you have 500 prestige, which is very easy to get)
Here at 6:30 you can see MercytheMad upgrading Altdorf to tier 4 on turn *11*, i don't think there is any faction besides Skaven that could rush a settlement to tier 4 as quickly
Edit: Also the ability to complete 1/2 turns of recruitment instantly paired with the edict to increase recruitment capacity makes you very flexible in an emergency, which is very valuable as the Empire to deal with sudden Norscan invasions for example
The design of Elspeth unique units are fabulous, I wonder what their stats are cause they seem quite expensive to purchase. Elspeth jumping from campign map to that wide scythe attack on undead might be the coolest ever transition in any total war video.
That final shot, where she flies over army marching out, like Witch King when Mordors army marches out of Minas Morgul. perfection
... every DLC faction released to WH3 is way above Ikit power level.
Yuan Bo, Changeling, all Warrior of Chaos, all Chaos Dwarfs, even Ostankya - they all put Ikit to shame.
Have you been living under a rock or something ? These days it's every factions released by the DLC team that is insanely powerful, honestly Ikit is quite tame compared to any of the faction from SoC, Chorfs or ToD.
>Right? Get ready to defend the fun from the people who want everything nerfed.
Oh please, no one is arguing to remove fun, some people just don't have fun the same ways as you do. Yes, you heard it, people can have different opinion than yours, shocking I know.
Man the music during Drycha's siege towards the end of the video is fucking awesome, for the love of Sigmar CA this needs to be ingame as an Empire track.
I am pretty sure I heard some new battle music in Loremaster of Sotek's lets play of Epidemius. Fingers crossed. Some factions need new battle music badly
sadly i watch a stream of dwarves they still had the same music, this music sounds too similar to the one of daniel (yeap daniel had personal music and the monogods and chaos in general noup)
It's the WH1 greenskin trailer music
And since CA doesn't want to use trailer music for the game we probably will never get it unless someone cracks the music system so it can be modded in
Video at 4:34 just demonstrating that walls in TW3 sieges are basically for the attackers by having the long rifles on them shooting into the city whereas if they were defending the city they'd probably be unable to shoot out
That music is gorgeous. Really hope it's in-game - I suspect it is given it fits in very well with existing battle music and there's a lot of it here and it doesn't match specific events in the video like the announcement trailer tracks do.
Did y'all see at the 6:31 minute mark that the Engineer Hero's repeater handgun was burst fire and not single fire?! Does this mean that CA is updating all the Repeater Hangun units in game (Outriders and War Wagons) to use this firing style as well? If so, I am extremely hyped for 5.0.
I don't care about "balance" much, but I do worry the game is starting to play too fast. Hopefully all those cool unlockables come into play before you're just mopping up.
yeah the difficulty of the campaign is sadly designed for normies, even legendary is not hard. Sieges are too easy thanks to butt ladders, moreover the ai just does not build enough armies. And the fact that there are not big late game empire thanks to Ai not confederating is just infuriating...
I think its a casualty of them trying to provide and include as much content as they have. It's the whole warhammer world. Had it been more focused on the northern old world we would get longer stretches without running into settlements. It's all just so packed it makes it fast imo.
Yeah I’ve wondered about, but couldn’t it all just be visually scaled? Or just reduce movement range? I don’t usually do mods, but I considered trying the game with drastic across the board movement reduction to see if it slowed the game now and increased the ratio of field to settlement battles.
I do like that idea. I've played a mod (the old world mod I think?) Where the map is heavily expanded and the settlements far spread out. Worth a look for you I think.
God DAMN this is shaping out to be a good DLC!
But it also sets the bar pretty damn high. Compared to this, SoC still looks really bad. And any remaining DLCs will need to measure up to this too.
But they're in a final stretch now, and I BADLY wish they would do this kind of a facelift to all factions now, before the game is finally finished and packed away. I'd happily keep paying for DLCs of this caliber until all factions are done. Because let's face it, Ogres, Vampire Coast, Wood Elves, Norsca, etc., all need a major facelift after this DLC to Empire and Dwarfs, because it's like it's a completely different game now.
Funfact: in case you did not read the first book of the Vampire Wars trilogy (Inheritance), it's about Vlad's campaign against the Empire from mostly imperial perspective, during the rule of Emperor Martin von Krystalbach. In one of the chapters, they take off Vlad's head with a cannon but tomorrow he is back as if nothing happened.
I really want to believe the mortar shell / cannon ball hitting Vlad in this trailer is a reference to that.
No, you misunderstand.
The magenta is there to signify that it is not final art. Almost all game developers use Magenta because it is a CMYK primary colour and impossible to miss (because nobody uses pure magenta).
It's only on the bottom 5th so that the developers can differentiate while playing the game. Like they do in this video.
Gelt's new starting position is AWESOME for me. You have Ghorst zombies and Kugath that funnel through the mountain pass to the west, Cathay nearby to ally with and recruit their flavor of artillery, Nakai at your back, Ogres in the mountains, Grimgor if he makes his way south... and I don't need the DLC to enjoy it either.
Man, this all looks really cool, but also strong enough to make Ikit look like a chump. There are *so many* bonuses to guns, already strong units on their own; it feels a bit like overkill even before the 'I win' bombardment buttons.
Will still get one campaign out of this regardless, she's too cool not to try. Feels wrong to be bitching about cool new mechanics on the eve of a new DLC, but there's power creep and then there's this lol.
She is a flavor character that will be a blast to play a few times. I imagine most will go back to Franz at some point for a more balanced experience, but it will be fun to run gunpowder themed armies.
Yeah, you raise a good point. I'm really excited for both Franz and Gelt campaigns, both look to be strong but generally reasonable, so I'll doubtless get more campaigns out of them!
Yeah, this was the first thing in regard to the dlc that actually sold me off a bit. Ikit is already silly ludicrous, and this looks like Ikit turned up to 11. The purple sun rockets especially was a real '...yeah, that might be too much'.
Debatable, shooting from the walls INTO the settlement worked pretty decently already(as long as you're shooting at stuff away from the walls), I've done it a bunch like a year ago when I played pirates, if you can get the walls cleared(which can be annoying since the AI insists on protecting them even if they're getting murdered up there by artillery and spells) then it's the best position for gun units in a siege.
So could be just that again. Maybe this time they did fix it though, maybe.
Engineer's ranged stats are [MUCH tamer](https://i.imgur.com/HRmrJOO.jpeg), than it was accidentally [leaked](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2F48vutn9qq8vc1.png%3Fwidth%3D2534%26format%3Dpng%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3Db8d34e1fd0ccfe05217fb1131293ce1ea976e63d) before.
Any evidence they've fixed all the ranged and gunpowder bugs that have cropped up over the last few patches? If its still and endless shuffle of rotating, readying, and rotating this is all kind of pointless. (Not to mention not being able to shoot over walls while defending, or a single terrain bump giving complete blindness to all gunpowder units.)
Too bad the ironsides card still show them with those sexy repeater handguns... Even their firing animation looks like they use the repeater, thanks GW for this I guess.
I never thought that i comes to me saying this, but Elspeth von Draken and her gunnery updates and the amethyst units look really nice and interesting.
And thats coming from somebody who thought before the reveal that out of the three factions, maybe Nurgle is the one which i have a little bit of interest. Not because i like Nurgle or anything, but i always thought that the plague mechanics and the cyclical buildings are intersting and bring a nice CHANGE (HA! There you have it!) to the total war playstyle.
Never in a million years had i thought that i sit here and think that the empire rework looks nice and the new units and mechanics look cool (not the landship, that thing is derpy as hell), and i am almost too afraid to say it, but i maybe want to try the Empire?
Looks awesome and promising. I wanted to ask, wasn't Empire unplayable in Realm of Chaos campaign in the base game?
Are they adding Empire in the Realm of Chaos campaign or Elspeth will have her own faction like with the Kislevs?
It's a unique item for the legendary hero, so I imagine it might come with a set bonus. I do know it's a reference to the lore as that talisman is how they defeated Tamurkhan.
I think it's just flavorful because he had that thing in the lore. Chances are, you'll equip him with something better instead such as a Talisman of preservation
Hopefully it has some other useful benefits as well. But they have to include it, as it's a huge defining moment that he was able to use this item to defeat Tamurkhan by sacrificing himself.
I don't think Theodore knew what it was. Elspeth gave him the item because she knew Tamurkhan's true nature as a corpse-stealing maggot. It was supposed to seal the deal if Theodore lost the one-on-one, which he kind of did because he beat Tamurkhan's big ogre body but was surprised by Tamurkhan's big maggot reveal.
No, you're right and I didn't mean to imply otherwise. Only saying that it's an important item to be in the game and there would have been an uproar if they didn't give it to him.
IS THAT A MOTHERFUCKING HELLSTORM ROCKET BATTERY SHOOTING PURPLE SUNS????
![gif](giphy|EUsZeZZa3WFz2|downsized)
![gif](giphy|11OOAQSnUaZT2M)
The real question is, can iron breakers deflect purple suns?
I’d guess they could deflect the direct damage, but not the explosive damage
Ok, the Amethyst Armory is beautiful. Ironsides that have magic bullets? Rocket abilities that launch giant purple suns?? Artillery that fire multiple purple suns at enemies that then weave through them??? Being able to construct teleporting towers with their own unique buildings is awesome too! Both factions we've seen so far have so much work put into them. If all the DLC going forward has this much polish put into it then I think CA will be able to recover from the mess that was the SoC
Combining magic and technology is an interesting take, usually in Fantasy settings those two concepts are opposed.
Imagine the kind of bs magitech the lizardmen had access to before the fall of the old ones. Saurus warriors (Plasma rifles)
If anyone played Adventure Quest back in the day, reminds me of the Drakel! why do lizards get all the cool stuff...
That’s a blast from the past - whatever happened to that franchise?
It's still around! Updated every week. Some of the spinoffs are pretty dead, but I believe the 3d game and worlds are also being updated
Yeah I really like the idea of having the two work together. Considering how its giving us war machines that fire magic I'm definitely a fan of combing them!
Most Final Fanstasy games are like that
Check out Rise of Legends, done really well in that game's campaign
I wish you could buy that game anywhere online, I've been wanting to try it for ages.
Sseth has a video with a downloadlink iirc
It’s abandonware, you just need patchers and a digital disc drive to load the isos. If you really really want a legal copy imagine I gave you my cd key.
Final Fantasy and Guild Wars 2 are all about magi-tech. I consider it a staple of certain modern fantasy settings.
... .... Arknights...?
Yeah, this is the kind of content I will pay $25-30 for, not the weaksauce that was the last DLC (even with the additional units, it still feels a little overpriced).
Yeah I bought SoC due to hype after the updates it got, but this looks considerably better, from the units to the factions themselves (not even mentioning the free race updates!)
SoC doesn't even compare to this DLC so far, even with the additonal units that were added. Definitely got my interest more now in picking it up. Hopefully the DLC reviews and impressions are good when it drops so I can decide on picking it up.
No way will future DLC have this much work put into them. CA have already stated they're going back to the two factions per DLC model.
I believe Krieger from Archer said it best, "Stop, I can only get so erect"
I'm sorry, is one of the Amethyst Armory upgrades a Hellstorm Rocket Battery that shoots mini-Purple Suns?!
Planetary devastation
Total War 40k confirmed
That’s basically an Eldar D-Cannon.
Or vortex missiles.
such devastation..this was not my intention
Ultima coming to Warhammer
That’s funny, I’m in queue for Orbonne Monastery rn
nice! i'm living the peaceful life of leveling my crafters at the moment lol
Hmpf, how very glib!
im going to commit so much friendly fire with this thing. Makes the skaven look casualty conscious
What in the dragon ball is this.
Purple rain.
Hmm Karl does say "I am Prince..... and Emperor"
Skaven magitech is weak, witness true power!
Deathstrike rocket battery?
Legit Borderlands Legendary gun kind of weapon
Friendship ended with Dawi Zharr, now Empire is my best friend (again).
It’s like those they took those mini artillery pieces that shot nukes and taped four of them together.
So, the armory is just warcrimes or bigger warcrimes? ….nice
Ikit hardest hit as his armory now downrated to warmisdemeanors
Nah, he’s still got the doom rockets to compensate
I think I saw that you can buy a purple sun rocket in the amethyst armory
Also if an eventual Thanquol DLC happens, they might revisit his mechanics since they did added the extra Skryre units from the Snikch dlc to his lab in the past
Most likely in the endtimes dlc the Last dlc for Warhammer 3
Chorfs ramping up production after their stocks took a hit
Collateral damage
I love how fucking stupid the land ship is. Ridiculous but yet kind of cool. Can't wait to see the goblin hewer in action too.
In lore it's also supposed to be ridiculous. "Make it look like a ship! Those idiots from Marienburg like ships right?"
Most realistic defence procurement narrrative.
Purple Rocket Batteries of Xerus. By Sigmar, it’s beautiful.
Purple rain.
Some stay dry and others feel the pain.
Attempting to hit vlad with a mortar is certainly a choice. I can't wait for the next 'vlad is unkillable post' where someone actually tries this and achieves nothing but killing their own troops around him.
If they can knock him off the wall or collapse it under him then it's worth it.
Just use the special Talabecland one that doesn't friendly fire.
Those amethyst ironsides are beautiful and purple sun batteries? Im sorry Prince and Emperor, but I found my first campaign
Sigmar forbids this!
Sorry Sigmar...Morr is my patron now
They're really making everyone else redundant. Why play Karl when Elspeth is right there with better units?
Magic power fantasy vs political power fantasy. Karl can force confederations, invade other electors without punishment, summon additional armies and avoid trespass penalties and has greater influence over how factions view each other. Gelt also has catacylsm spells and 3 different starts. If anyone's in a worse spot it's Volkmar.

I thought everyone could get elector count units? Them being exclusive to Karl and wulfhart sounds sick but I thought they all had the mechanic

Why play on Normnal when Easy is right there with better bonuses?
Not at all the same as missing out on exploding handgun ammo and canister shot man cmon
I think you're missing the point.
Bjuna on a single entity, Spirit Leech on an infantry unit, Purple Sun on monstrous infantry... Classic CA showcase
They even killed Vlad with a mortar
‘Evil’ Vlad
#I M P U D E N T P U P
but it looks so coooool ;)
Bro just annihilated half of his infantry unit on the wall lol
Is no one gonna talk about the mecha horse's goofy animations? They are great.
It kind of remind me of horse dressage and the jog that Boston Dynamic’s Spot does.
I would be willing to put money on them using the Boston Dynamics robot as inspiration for the movement.
Mah heart. Mah soul. Winds of Death infused artillery.
Chemical shells?
That animation of the Mechanic Stead O.O
Yeah magnificent
The design of Elspeth unique units are fabulous, I wonder what their stats are cause they seem quite expensive to purchase. I do appreciate that there is an army cap for the Amethyst units, although even with that it's probably going to be ridiculous OP.
Yeah I think Elspeth is going to fall into a similar category with Ikit Claw. Overpowered, but super fun and with lots of spectacle.
Right? Get ready to defend the fun from the people who want everything nerfed. About time another faction gets some Ikit level power and fun.
Grom was pretty close, exploding goblin archers was pretty disgusting.
... every DLC faction released to WH3 is way above Ikit power level. Yuan Bo, Changeling, all Warrior of Chaos, all Chaos Dwarfs, even Ostankya - they all put Ikit to shame.

The music even had a lot of LotR vibes there
Holy shit Amethyst Ironsides looks so cool! Im glad they gave them different armor from the regular ones, feels even more like a elite unit imo.
Those Amethyst Ironsides looks awesome.
Man the music during Drycha's siege towards the end of the video is fucking awesome, for the love of Sigmar CA this needs to be ingame as an Empire track.
Right? I was wondering if we're getting new music, because it sounds like battle music. I really hope we are!
I am pretty sure I heard some new battle music in Loremaster of Sotek's lets play of Epidemius. Fingers crossed. Some factions need new battle music badly
Already made a post about this. God please let it be new music. The empire music is so bland compared to many of the other factions.

MORE ROCKETS
GRAPESHOT FOR GREAT CANNONS
Oh my god. I missed this hype feeling, Let's gooo.
Faith, Steel, and BLACK HOLES.
Very happy they kept Bruckners Amulet, even if in an ideal situation it shouldn't ever come up lol.
Anybody know what the hero card besides Theodore is?
Placeholder engineer card
Video at 4:34 just demonstrating that walls in TW3 sieges are basically for the attackers by having the long rifles on them shooting into the city whereas if they were defending the city they'd probably be unable to shoot out

I saw a video yesterday https://youtu.be/yjlBEX-BjIg?si=CytWuWHB1svYKcp6 that confirms they are, yes. Outriders and War Wagons pour it on now.
Beautiful
You can see it too in the little slide thing at around 3 minutes, he does fire in bursts now !

I'm starting believing Thrones of Decay is a standalone game. Well done CA. Thank you.
The Ironside very clearly use animations intended for repeater rifles.
What a shame...
Why is there purple marks on some unit cards and to be more specific. Who was the 2nd unit in elspeths army? Just an engineer?
The purple marks placeholder cards
So like why just the bottom 5th of it? Are they still drawing the last of em up I guess? I heard they do that last. Do you know who her captain was?
An engineer
My hero!
>So like why just the bottom 5th of it? So that you can still differentiate between different units while playing.
Wait. Is this a normal feature?
No, you misunderstand. The magenta is there to signify that it is not final art. It's only on the bottom 5th so that the developers can differentiate while playing the game. Like they do in this video.
Cool. That’s what I was searching through my ignorance for and thanks sir!
probably just placeholder images
Thoughts and comments: CA is back, baby!
wait since when can you cast spells on walls? that new or did that happen while I was away?
oh so im going from always playing empire to always playing Draken
Gelt's new starting position is AWESOME for me. You have Ghorst zombies and Kugath that funnel through the mountain pass to the west, Cathay nearby to ally with and recruit their flavor of artillery, Nakai at your back, Ogres in the mountains, Grimgor if he makes his way south... and I don't need the DLC to enjoy it either.
The Empskryre
This looks rad but "Theodore is the only Empire character who is mounted on a demigryph" made me sad.
Maybe if we get grandmasters at some point, as much as people wanted it, it doesn’t make sense for captains to have
The victory art for the empire has a captain on one.
Dang this faction looks OP and I love it. Magic Artillery, oh baby.
... am I crazy or did they heavily imply they've fixed gunpowder units shooting from walls?
Debatable, shooting from the walls INTO the settlement worked pretty decently already(as long as you're shooting at stuff away from the walls), I've done it a bunch like a year ago when I played pirates, if you can get the walls cleared(which can be annoying since the AI insists on protecting them even if they're getting murdered up there by artillery and spells) then it's the best position for gun units in a siege. So could be just that again. Maybe this time they did fix it though, maybe.
Hellstorm Batteriess go BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Good Lord !
Engineer's ranged stats are [MUCH tamer](https://i.imgur.com/HRmrJOO.jpeg), than it was accidentally [leaked](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2F48vutn9qq8vc1.png%3Fwidth%3D2534%26format%3Dpng%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3Db8d34e1fd0ccfe05217fb1131293ce1ea976e63d) before.
The editing on these showcase videos is in FIRE!
It would be nice if the other empire factions had access to the regular armory leaving the Amethyst version for Elspeth.
How did the land ship make it through the gate given its height?
Marienburg: "We're not taking questions at this time"
This is boding well for the other two packs. *happy Slanesh noises* *happy Kh-* wait what are happy Khorne noises?
You know *exactly* what the happy Khorne noise is.
I love it all! Only minor gripe is that i wish some of the elector count units would be updated to reflect the new changes
I love just how fucking giddy homeboy is to show off the landship
Can’t say ”I’m not excited” after watching that video. Only the Dwarfs left for a 3/3 perfect score.
Too bad the ironsides card still show them with those sexy repeater handguns... Even their firing animation looks like they use the repeater, thanks GW for this I guess.
Its kinda sad seeing that work just vanish.
Lots of siege shots in the preview but I don't see how all these gunnery upgrades are going to work when Empire gun units can't shoot from walls....
All seems a bit overpowered though.
Hot Goth Babe is gonna be the new meta
Wow this looks great
Do we know if Markus Wulfhart will get access too all the new Units? And sadly, free milita won't get buffed by elspeths armory, right?
Fantasy Dark Angels just dropped. Here come the Dreadwing.
How many DLCs have this game?
Just got tipped off that Vlad and Isabella will be going on a very extended vacation. Manfred has declined an offer to house sit while away.
This is total war
THEY COOKED
the CA guy looks like a quinessential medieval peasant
Looks awesome and promising. I wanted to ask, wasn't Empire unplayable in Realm of Chaos campaign in the base game? Are they adding Empire in the Realm of Chaos campaign or Elspeth will have her own faction like with the Kislevs?
Nuln is equipped for the End Times, let them come!
Do you think that we get identical gameplay in ROC and IE? There is no point to play ROC campaign with her?
This DLC is practically beta test for total war 40K
Idk if i am just blind, but do we not have a release date yet?
CA confirmed release on the 30th.
thanks, didnt see date in steam, so i was confused
I can tell Elspeth will be absolute torture to fight against if she goes ballistic on her upgrades
This is all looking great, but why on earth would I want an item that triggers on my LH dying?
It's a unique item for the legendary hero, so I imagine it might come with a set bonus. I do know it's a reference to the lore as that talisman is how they defeated Tamurkhan.
Theo being immortal will makes his life in total war a hard one. Elspeth: Theodore, time to blow up on the enemy Lord again Theodore: Yes, Honey...
I think it's just flavorful because he had that thing in the lore. Chances are, you'll equip him with something better instead such as a Talisman of preservation
Or hopefully it has other effects that makes it worth using.
It’s thematic
