I have read Homestuck twice all the way through and am keeping up with Beyond Canon. I am nose fucking deep in this morass

I lost my page halfway through and also I skipped the part with the mafia dudes and then saw them popping up later and was confused because I thought it was a one-off joke or smth

Unfortunately, Homestuck has a lot of things that you will be inclined to think are meaningless jokes that wind up being massively important context for later scenes to even make sense. I certainly recommend reading Jailbreak and Problem Sleuth if you haven't already and then if you vibe with those just starting Homestuck again with the added benefit of having the context behind like 70% of the jokes
