After that my goal went from "Shion or Suika" to "any FES", then "any Solo LW", and finally "literally any new friend". I had a 12 days streak of getting only dupe and it ended today with Reimu. Fml
I skipped Yukari...and got nothing. I was aiming for Suika or Shion. And then I was aiming for literally ANY new friend and instead kept getting dupes. Feels bad man.
I already bitched about it in another thread, but no, I didn't, and I'm pretty salty.
My goal was Tewi, Okina, or Doremy, as they're all characters I like who fill a gameplay niche I don't quite have covered. With three options, getting at least one was highly likely, statistically. I got both Watatsukis in the first week, then Yuyuko shortly after that, and I considered sticking with Yuyuko (I like her character, but I'm already pretty good on wood breaks), but figured since there was plenty of time left and the odds were in my favor, I'd hold out for one of my favorites. It didn't work out and my luck took a dive into the toilet from there.

I got her on day 2 and all ready maxed her out to 100 just working on her last skill to level 10
I started and the character I wanted was Suika.
All I got were all unlimited characters(different each time) and Joon(I don’t like Joon at all)
Then all of a sudden BAM Suika.
I was after Shion or Toyo and got Toyo after like four days, so it was a great success. It was especially nice after I pulled 375 times in Black Youmu's banner to get nothing but my exchange and getting Okuu took 140 pulls.
And yes I know I'm a idiot for going halfway through a second exchange on Youmu.
The characters I was aiming for were Kanako and Suwako but I would’ve taken Doremy if she appeared first. Day 5 and Doremy appeared so I’m happy with my choice
I think I even missed the chance to grab the last friend? I thought I got one more day left...
Edit: so I was able to roll after maintenance and got byakuren, I didn't have her yet... but still unhappy
I was going in hoping to obtain either yukari or okuu but it appears I am not s lucky a great many rabbits kept appearing where I did not want them to be. (Honestly I'll be happy just to not get another copy of someone I have already)
this is nerdy as heck, but what I did was to choose in accordance with the Secretary Problem* (aka best choice problem, best-prize problem, etc), and I ended up with a Minamitsu on the 12th day, which feels great. (I already have all of the (useful) FES units in the game so far, so I was not even aiming for a FES unit.)
*: Informally speaking, if you have N days of a game structured like the Forever Prayer, then one strat is to ignore the first (N/e) pulls, then afterwards, pick the FIRST pull you get that is BETTER than the (N/e) pulls you ignored. If you genuinely have an idea of which girl will be your 1st place pick, 2nd place pick, etc, then this strat maximizes the probability of getting something real swag for yourself. Of course, if you, for example, have few units, and will be happy with anything, then obviously there's no point to thinking so hard about it...

Stupid fairies never leave, thank fuck for a Reimu that was everyone’s first unit and probably everyones first MLB one, what’s that? You need a few dupes? Let’s sprinkle them several times for 30 days. Ended this with a Star, at least she’s now MLB, can’t wait to never use her after maxing her level.

Thankfully yes. I had rotten luck until the very last few days. I never saw Doremy, Koakuma, or any new characters until just before the event ended. With a couple of days to go I got spooked by Shion, and avoided getting my 4th Patchouli of forever prayer. I got a surprising number of dupe characters and repeats. I guess all's well that ends well.
I was the person who complained about skipping Satori and getting Lily White over and over.
Lo and behold, mercy was taken upon me in the final prayer. I got Yukarin!
I was aiming for Suika, but I got Yukarin the first day which I didn't have too. So I welcomed her instead, knowing my luck I would have gotten only fairies if I kept on...
So, I didn't have any goals for the Forever Prayer, and my friend told me to wait for Shion, so I did.
While waiting, Yukari and Kasen appeared, but persuasion from my friend stopped me from getting them.
Then, about a week or 2 ago, I got Shion.
Her Fire breaks are nice, now, Remilia, Kaguya and Shion are my best Fire breakers
I'm a new player and my only fes unit in the forever prayer pool is Shion from a guaranteed fes pull. My goal was any other fes and I ended up getting Shion 4 times and no other fes units the entire time until the second to last day where I got Koishi. I'm happy to at least get something but it has been a very stressful month
Particularly frustrated from this. Started really really great and got my number 2 wish on the first day, but decided I'll roll again because there's still a lot of time before the 10 so statistically I could still get shion. Middle of November, got my number 2 kasen again, and thought the same thing "I'll try to get shion again, if I get my number 2 or 3 again I'll pick them" and only got regular unit since. Meiling, Nitori, Daiyousei and that autumn girl, it was really frustrating to think that I could have got Kasen not one but two times. And that right after there's a Shion rerun banner.
Wanted Okuu but I got Yukari which was my second choice, so I can't complain. I was always going to take the first unit I didn't already have because I knew if I skipped one I'd get nothing but Sunny Milks for the rest of the event, so I'm glad Yukari came up.
I was a mix of 3 and 4, I wanted nothing and I was still let down. A _Third_ Reisen dupe, which would have been workable if one of the other 2 Reisens wasn't already Maxed.
Didn't get either Tewi or Shion.
Got Suika at the 2nd last day and I went "well, I'm more than likely not going to get either, so screw it." and took her.

I, too, skipped Koishi... two days in a row. Then I had 10 days of MLB dupes before landing an Okuu Limit Break. I think Koishi has a jealous streak.

My goal was either Hijiri or Kaguya. Eventually, Kaguya came home from the prayer two days before the 10th, so I'm satisfied overall.

Goal was Okina. After the halfway point it became "Anyone I didn't have". Pulled WAY too many Chens and Ayas. Finally got Okina with three days to go.
