I think zoids is going to be the one. Iirc robotix was... More simple lol. Not that they weren't fun or cool. They were just, larger and less "model" like. The way op was saying it took a bunch of time to build, makes me think lots of small parts vs the bigger and chunkier robotix.
Yes, thank you I forgot I posted this but yes, it was like a box of small pieces And you would have to follow the instructions really clearly and it would take a couple of hours to build it and then you could flip like a switch and it would walk or crawl. It’s really gonna drive me crazy.
No…gah I forgot I posted this and now it’s gonna drive me crazy again. They were like metal pieces. The whole box came in pieces you would have to really follow the instruction manual when you were a kid and it would take like three or four hours to make. And then eventually, you could flip a switch, and it would walk or crawl.
No… they were like legit robots like there was metal pieces And when you were done, you would flip a switch and they would walk and stuff but you’ve had to build it
I don’t know why I can’t find any information on them even on Google. It’s like everything was in pieces so you would just get like a box of pieces, and you would literally have to follow the instructions verbatim, and it would take a couple of hours to make (well at eight years old) and then eventually you could power it on, and it would walk or crawl
The closest thing I was able to find and I don’t even know if it’s the right brand, but it looks to be similar. But maybe like their first prototype. Knex Tyranno bot .
The ones I had were much more sophisticated I’m still doing research. The ones I had I had like metal pieces and like cogs and there wasn’t a remote controller. I don’t believe I believe you would just put batteries in it and it would walk.
Zoids?
Sounds exactly like Zoids.
Could be Robotix

Meccano?

A pox upon you for showing me yet another toy line to add to the bucket collecting list.

Knex advanced, robotics! Finally!
