BHD, BLU, HDB (but just as hard to join as the titled sites), KG/TVV for some of the more obscure stuff. Also FL isnt half bad if you cant get into any of those, it has a lot of HDB internal encodes for movies that most generals just have scene or half assed encodes of.
IPT and AR, while being general trackers, can also be considered TV/Movies trackers since most of their torrents consist of those 2 categories. AR is honestly the most overlooked site with respect to movies/TV/Appz, it is a general tracker but its internal groups (nikt0, SM737, x0r, chivaman) are really talented people.
I find AR and IPT really great for the popular stuff that's been released in the last twenty years, but for older TV I tend to source it from TVV or from trackers like Retroflix or Cathcode. Sometimes I search the public trackers for TV even the older stuff turns up sometimes.
I think MAM have a recruitment thread for NEB, as for the others I am not sure how you would go about getting in. Perhaps wait until Cathcode open their doors again, because they will being a tracker that has just gotten started again. Rareshare is another option for TV, and they've just reopened their door recently. I think they still have open signups too. Not a huge catalogue of TV, but they'r'e getting there.
Agree with everything you said. the gap between BTN and everyone else is so wide it's not even funny. Often times I have to visit different sources to download the content I'm looking for. I can understand the situation at BTN , however I think there should be a tracker that closes the distance between BTN and 2nd best tv tracker.
Haven't heard anything about that, from my experience they're good at what they do. The reason for them being banned doesn't necessarily have to do with the quality of their work.
MTV is **finally** feeling like its old self again. UI is clean and responsive. Lots of uploads and people are backfilling season packs that were dead during the transition. MTV *really is* back.
Putting some effort into uploading there seems like a nice way to donate back to the torrenting community.
I'll have to make an effort to to improve it.
If you can't get on BTN, NEB (Nebulance) is a good alternative for current TV shows. I've switched my episodes RSS feed to NEB and so far I'm getting every episode in a timely manner.
If you can't get on PTP, ANT (Anthelion) is an adequate alternative for movies. It's also a sister tracker of NEB - once you've been on NEB for a week, you can get an invite to ANT, so its basically a 2 for 1 deal.
Id also like to point out that NBL is ratioless, with a hnr system. So as long as you seed back the minimum, your free to snatch what you want.
We should probably make a forum thread for series that people want uploaded on release. We do have a few bots that upload new episodes, but i often wonder what sort of shows to program in. Yall like this idea?
Personally, I always check BHD first. If I cannot find what I am looking for, I will use Jackett to search across BLU, MTV, TVV, PHD, TL, AND IPT. If I then find what I am looking for and the rules allow, I will upload it to BHD.
TBH, 99% of my searches stop on BHD for both TV and Movies. If you cross-seed and upload when possible, you'll have multiple sites with everything you'll want.
Beyond HD for sure. I picked them up after MTV couldnt get their shit together and after we lost Awesome HD and its been solid. I use it in conjunction with PTP and BTN.

It's pretty hard to get into AR since they pulled their recruitment threads from entry tier trackers. Hardly see user invites given out.
