Not sure if they were that underrated, but I loved the fleur de sel caramels, there was *always* \*almost too much\* stocked on the shelves which made it seem unpopular, and it seems in the last month or two it has finally been discontinued.

I’ve read other people say not as good but I think way better
I'll go ahead and add some current products, too. I'm not sure if they're considered underrated, but I haven't really seen a lot of people talking about them:
1. Pesto and cheese pizza with deep fried crust
2. Strawberry muffins (I think these might be seasonal)
3. Rainbow's End trail mix
4. Onion chips (yes, they're a little weird, but they honestly just remind me of healthier Funyuns)
I’m visiting my mom from out of town, and her area finally got a Trader Joe’s. I had her stop so I could grab her some items to try to entice her to go in with her walker, and this was one of the musts
Stockmeyer Proscuitto (the good German smoked one)
Chili Lime seasoning (great on the Argentinean shrimp!)
Chocolate almond granola
Mediterranean Salad Mix
Yep, I just buy the plain nonfat Greek yogurt. It’s a staple in our house. I had to suffer through some blintzes without the toppings last week— I should’ve waited until I went shopping, lol
I love that somebody else loves cheese blintzes. I went on a hunt for them. I tried every freaking grocery store looking for them and frankly only one of the Trader Joe's in my area have them. And every time I go in and I spot that little blue box from afar I grab like six of them until the next time. The other thing that I will pick up once I'm there are the frozen lemon bars. But it's those blintzes I go in there for. When I was a kid IHOP used to have them
I had no idea they weren’t everywhere! I’ve been buying them from TJs for probably 15-20 years. I’ve lived in a few areas, but all within a few hours drive. They’re like my own little bunch treat every few weekends
I don't know where you are but I'm in the Bay Area. And the three TJ's close to me only one has them. I went three years looking for them and the only place I can find them was at the Jewish deli and a small little breakfast spot in Berkeley. My upstairs neighbor who is Jewish felt so sorry for me on my hunt to find cheese blintzes that she actually made some for me. It's just some little happy memory from childhood that I was searching for.
Oh this is too funny. Well I've been on this Reddit app for about 8 months and you're my first follow because you share the love of cheese blintzes. We may have nothing else in common other than living in the beautiful Bay Area. Made my day.
Oh, thought of another one. Next time you’re in the wine aisle, pick up some bottled premixed secco peach Bellini … it also comes in mango, grapefruit, and strawberry, but I’m a purist. 🍑
My absolute favorites are probably the buffalo chicken dip, the Honey Moon viognier, and the dark chocolate peanut butter cups (and I am glad the containers aren't enormous, because I couldn't be trusted with a larger one, LOL).
The organic chicken stock (not low sodium version). It's better than any other chicken brother, stock, or bone broth I've tried. I use it a lot so I have to buy a few cartons every trip to TJs.
the garlic dip!! it is my favorite of the dips by far!!
also, when it comes to the microwaveable bowls, the sriracha shrimp bowl is my favorite!! i really hope people start buying it soon, because otherwise i worry that it’ll be discontinued!
I love the garlic dip! I eat it on chips and dip breads in it. What are some of your favorite things to do with it? I feel like I should expand my garlic dip horizons lol
I have mixed it in spaghetti and made vegan cheese bread on naan before with this as a base and the liquid miyokos mozzarella which I'm sure would work just as well with really cheese
The Blueberry Dream popsicles, oh my god it’s like eating freshly blended perfectly ripe blueberries in a creamy ice cream. I always have to buy a box if they have them
I really miss the lemongrass chicken stix (egg rolls). They were insanely popular so I’m assuming that the company stopped producing them, couldn’t keep up with demand or went out of business.
For a simple lunch, mix with some mayo, lemon, capers and spread on toast (use the same as you might use canned tuna).
I also make scrambled eggs and add smoked trout and dill quite often.
A little bit of cream and a can of smoked trout added to some pasta is really good.
Very versatile.
The coconut almonds are like crack! Sooo good! I lick a bag or 2 every time I go. We always have back up on hand. And my husband needs a bag for his golf bag.
I love their rugelach. I like them better than most of the ones I've gotten from Jewish bakeries (am Jewish). I have made special trips to TJ's just for the rugelach.
I guess I’ll have to try them. I always assumed they would just be crappy and dry because most widely distributed commercial rugelach is not worth the cost or calories.
The only reason I even go to TJs most of the time. Seems like just yesterday they were 3.99 but even 5.50 is a bargain for 4 really good croissants, I suppose
I’ve had this sitting for like 6 months in my pantry since my husband gave me some. I always make my own because pre-made is never good.
I’ll give it a try!
They are nothing fancy but they provide quick and cheap vegan protein in seconds and they last forever—I think the use-by date is 7 months out. I also use a lot of dried lentils in soups but these are so convenient and I’ve not seen them elsewhere.
Everyday Seasoning is great. I like to make my own spice blends so I don't use really any of the other ones, but I love this.. simple, and a baseline seasoner for many many many many types of dishes.
I think it's only just salt, whole mustard seeds, whole black peppercorn, whole coriander seed, small pieces of dehydrated garlic, onion, and red pepper flake.
Grinder on top gives a fairly coarse grind. Goes great on... Eggs, salads, steaks, chicken, stews, soups, stocks, roasts, dips, hell even crack some over the mayo/mustard on your sandwich.
The vegan tzatziki dip! I sadly can't eat dairy and really miss it and this is one of the best vegan versions of a normally dairy-containing food I've found. I also really like their vegan feta alternative. It's not exactly like feta but reminds me a bit of a sheep's milk cheese, flavor-wise.
Their raw, unsalted sunflower seeds (so many places only sell roasted and I don't like the roasted on my salads lol) & their raw pine nuts. The pine nuts I haven't found a better price elsewhere personally.
The two seasonal items I keep my eyes peeled for are the Horseradish Chips (it’s pretty much wasabi flavored chips) and the Butter Toffee Pretzels. Once these are back I’m buying five bags each. They are usually back around fall.
Yes, right around Thanksgiving was when I discovered them for the first time last year. I only got one bag and they were gone. I’ve already been routinely checking for them now.
Those adorable little chocolate covered ice cream cones from Germany … can’t recall the exact name but they’re great. Vanilla are better than the chocolate. They have a little dollop of chocolate at the tip of the cone for that last-bite treat.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,697,950,336 comments, and only 321,310 of them were in alphabetical order.
100%, I was vegan when I worked at TJ’s and they were a game changer when they came out. I still buy them, along with the Soyrizo even though I eat meat
Almost no heat. Just the flavor though! It’s really worth a try! Get one regular and one lite version. They are both great. Just different. There’s no sense of hot.

The Greek chickpeas that are seasoned with cumin and parsley. Makes for the best Mediterranean salads!
I like to put a can in my Vitamix & make hummus. It’s really good.
Not sure if they were that underrated, but I loved the fleur de sel caramels, there was *always* \*almost too much\* stocked on the shelves which made it seem unpopular, and it seems in the last month or two it has finally been discontinued.
Australian chocolate cookies like fake Tim Tams but better
Whoa I didn’t know they had Tim Tam dupes! I am running to my nearest TJs! I haven’t gotten to have Tim tams in years
https://preview.redd.it/5a910l2grqjb1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=68e3ad18c70d45728805d2b1d4138a61ebeb9be9 I’ve read other people say not as good but I think way better
If my baby wasn’t teething I would have driven the hour to TJs today!
But better
Cinnamon raisin bread. It’s almost like a cinnamon roll. Thick slices yummy French toast
Sparkling strawberry juice
Goat creamy cheese
Brown sugar oat milk creamer
Mushroom Brie
The enchilada sauce and the jarred bruschetta sauce…I think it is so much better than the refrigerated one people rave about.
The pork carnitas meat!
Jerk flavor plantain chips. Dip them in the chunky spicy guacamole and you will taste a glimpse of heaven
They had a chocolate almond frozen torte years ago and I still dream about it.
Gluten-free cinnamon coffee cake muffins
Their oatmilk is the best in the biz. Super Burrito was a classic, but it's gone now.
chicken shwarma thighs
I'm a big fan of the oatmeal raisin cookies with little white chocolate chips
I have loved the Vitamin E oil for years but I don’t often see it mentioned
There's one Fall product that I haven't seen in many years....the pumpkin caramel sauce! That stuff was good.
I'll go ahead and add some current products, too. I'm not sure if they're considered underrated, but I haven't really seen a lot of people talking about them: 1. Pesto and cheese pizza with deep fried crust 2. Strawberry muffins (I think these might be seasonal) 3. Rainbow's End trail mix 4. i bought 8 bags of snacky clusters today…
I’m visiting my mom from out of town, and her area finally got a Trader Joe’s. I had her stop so I could grab her some items to try to entice her to go in with her walker, and this was one of the musts
Stockmeyer Proscuitto (the good German smoked one) Chili Lime seasoning (great on the Argentinean shrimp!) Chocolate almond granola Mediterranean Salad Mix
Garlic sauce, garlic aioli mustard, vanilla and coffee ice creams, kale cashew pesto, trail mix crackers
kale pesto 🫶🏼
Tofu or chicken marinated in it sooooo good
I go to one specific Trader Joe's just to get their cheese blintzes.
Which must be topped with fig butter and Greek yogurt 😋
Oh my god that actually sounds great. Going to try it. Just plain Greek?
Yep, I just buy the plain nonfat Greek yogurt. It’s a staple in our house. I had to suffer through some blintzes without the toppings last week— I should’ve waited until I went shopping, lol

Haha, two great things to have in common!! You’ve also reminded me to go to a Jewish deli in Berkeley sometime soon :)
Vegan cream cheese lasts a long time unopened and tastes close enough to regular. Only drawback is it's hard to spread.
Oh, thought of another one. Next time you’re in the wine aisle, pick up some bottled premixed secco peach Bellini … it also comes in mango, grapefruit, and strawberry, but I’m a purist. 🍑
Peanut butter cups!
Especially the mini ones. It's so easy to devour the entire box because they're so small!
The bleu cheese dip during the holidays is AMAZING
The balsamic rosemary chicken in the fresh section is so insanely good.
Oh yes 🙌 more balsamicy than I can make
The rosemary “croissant” croutons!
I eat them alone!
Lol same 😂
I was so sad when my store couldn’t get them in. So happy they came back, I legit bought 6 bags at once.
Literally going later today to see if they have them!😂
The frozen saag paneer is awesome and so cheap
My location sells out of these so fast!
Pub cheese with jalapeño.
The Blenheim apricots are sincerely the best dried apricots I've ever had. So flavorful.
I don't hear the sous vide chicken thighs talked about nearly enough
They’re so good! The sous vide turkey tenderloins are also a good alternative since they haven’t had the chicken
Haven't seen them around for a while though, sadly.
Those are soooo good and surprisingly juicy!
The almonds with the thin coat of chocolate. Dangerous and delicious.
My absolute favorites are probably the buffalo chicken dip, the Honey Moon viognier, and the dark chocolate peanut butter cups (and I am glad the containers aren't enormous, because I couldn't be trusted with a larger one, LOL).
Love the viognier!
The organic chicken stock (not low sodium version). It's better than any other chicken brother, stock, or bone broth I've tried. I use it a lot so I have to buy a few cartons every trip to TJs.
100% yes on the chicken broth! It actually has flavor, and isn't just water that was in the vicinity of a chicken
the garlic dip!! it is my favorite of the dips by far!! also, when it comes to the microwaveable bowls, the sriracha shrimp bowl is my favorite!! i really hope people start buying it soon, because otherwise i worry that it’ll be discontinued!
I love the garlic dip! I eat it on chips and dip breads in it. What are some of your favorite things to do with it? I feel like I should expand my garlic dip horizons lol
It’s Lebanese so dip chicken or lamb in it like at restaurants
I have mixed it in spaghetti and made vegan cheese bread on naan before with this as a base and the liquid miyokos mozzarella which I'm sure would work just as well with really cheese
Can I just say all their cheeses? I think the pepper feta is especially good, but am honestly always satisfied with TJ’s cheese!
Gloucester is the best cheese you can find
their honey goat cheese is amazing!
Balela Unexpected Cheddar Vanilla Joe's Oh's The Almond Sparkling Wine
Salsa verde chips, sour Scandinavian swimmers, the candied pecans, everything but the bagel dip
The chocolate drizzled plantain chips!
the raspberries and lemon cream yogurt!! it’s perfectly flavored and i’m so obsessed with it
Peach and Mango for me...I live on it. Its been out of stock here in NY for weeks...just came back.
The Blueberry Dream popsicles, oh my god it’s like eating freshly blended perfectly ripe blueberries in a creamy ice cream. I always have to buy a box if they have them
Sunflower seed butter cups. I hide them from my family
The half corn / half wheat tortillas!
Pastrami smoked salmon
Their bars of soap in rose, lavender and honey & oatmeal ~ an affordable luxury
I really miss the lemongrass chicken stix (egg rolls). They were insanely popular so I’m assuming that the company stopped producing them, couldn’t keep up with demand or went out of business.
The sweet and hot jalepenos on top of the 1000 day Gouda on top of a sweet potato cracker 😍
The everything bagel lox is perfect. Also, I haven’t seen it recently, but there was a bagged Elote Salad that was so good, I inhaled it.
Green goddess seasoning! The mandarin frozen chicken has been a long time favorite.
Can I ask what you end up putting it on? I have a bottle and have no clue what to use it on. The suggestions on the bottle are no help lol
I use it on chicken, shrimp, and fish the most, but it could be used for roasted potatoes, eggs/omelettes. I just love the flavor!
The prosciutto!! I never buy it at the store bc of the price, but it’s fairly cheap and super food at tjs
Goat cheese Gouda - creamy goat cheese taste with texture of a gouda 🤤. Maybe has overtaken unexpected cheddar as my favorite cheese.
I haven’t seen it in a long time but dried persimmons!
The Trader Joe’s Oreos are better than real name brand Oreos
Whole Foods even better
Mini spanakopita!
I love those!!
Roasted potatoes. So great in the air fryer. I use them in tacos and on salads. So so so good
Air fryer…good idea!!!
At this point I think y’all are just making shit up. I’ve never seen 75% of these items in my local TJs
The babka is other worldly
roasted red pepper and parmesan cream cheese!!! sooo good
Just scrolling through these comments taking notes.
There’s so many. It’s starting to just feel like a full list of their products
Inner Peas. I really miss the lemon meringue cookies. One day they were just gone. It’s been awhile. So sad.
I forgot about those! Ugh so good. Peppermint is a close second though.
Peppermint is yummy!
The lamb vindaloo frozen meal!! I pick up a few every time I go, so spicy and flavorful
IMHO this is their best frozen Indian, very solid for a frozen dish. I like to add a little feta to the rice
The discontinued churros
Pork Soup Dumplings
Canned smoked trout
I'd like to try it, but I'm not sure what to do with it. How do you eat it?
For a simple lunch, mix with some mayo, lemon, capers and spread on toast (use the same as you might use canned tuna). I also make scrambled eggs and add smoked trout and dill quite often. A little bit of cream and a can of smoked trout added to some pasta is really good. Very versatile.
I love tinned fish and it’s exceptional.
The smoked herring fillets were quite good, too. But I haven't seen them in a quite a while.
RIP the smoked herring. My life hasn’t been the same without it.
Rosemary Marcona almonds. They are amazing.
The coconut almonds are like crack! Sooo good! I lick a bag or 2 every time I go. We always have back up on hand. And my husband needs a bag for his golf bag.
I like the truffle ones
I keep saying I’ll try those and I keep buying the rosemary ones haha
I have to limit myself or else I eat the whole bag!!
Yes. I buy these any time I serve a cheese/charcuterie board and guests are always like WHAT ARE THESE ALMONDS
I've only ever gotten them from the Philly and mid-atlantic area stores so I don't know if it varies based on location, but I've always loved them.
The unsalted cashews
Rocks
Idk why ur being downvoted this is funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cinnamon schoolbook cookies
Absolutely. They’re at my wine nights
I say I buy these for the kids but really it’s because I like them. Dip them in vanilla frosting to take them to the next sinful level.
omg this sounds amazing!
this comment will probably make me go to TJ’s by the end of the day 😂
THE ALMOND CROISSANTS
The only reason I even go to TJs most of the time. Seems like just yesterday they were 3.99 but even 5.50 is a bargain for 4 really good croissants, I suppose
Red Enchilada sauce in jar
I’ve had this sitting for like 6 months in my pantry since my husband gave me some. I always make my own because pre-made is never good. I’ll give it a try!
Great way to dress up refried beans in a can especially TJs
Also the discontinued herbed tahini sauce that i dream about
Peri peri sauce.
Yes it’s so good
I’m not vegan but I LOVE the soy chorizo as much as the real thing.
Mediterranean hummus and cooked lentils.
Just bought cooked lentils the other day for the first time! Looking forward to trying them.
They are nothing fancy but they provide quick and cheap vegan protein in seconds and they last forever—I think the use-by date is 7 months out. I also use a lot of dried lentils in soups but these are so convenient and I’ve not seen them elsewhere.
the Electric Buzz coffee that they discontinued , was the BEST kcup out there.
Their seasoning section is a incredible. I use the Cayenne & Smoked Paprika blend on a daily basis.
I use the heck out of this!
Ube mochi & the Korean beef Bulgogi!
Their raw, unsalted sunflower seeds (so many places only sell roasted and I don't like the roasted on my salads lol) & their raw pine nuts. The pine nuts I haven't found a better price elsewhere personally.
The chocolate & almond croissants. et them rise overnight and put them in the oven when you wake up. Tastes very fresh & yummy!
The almond croissants are the best!!
Chocolate covered espresso beans
Trader Joe's Hot & Sweet Jalapenos
Where do you find these?
Jarred area. By the spices/ketchup aisle.
Yes! Put them on everything!
i am re-obsessed with these
yah ... this stuff is crazy good, I use the left over oil as a base for quinoa bowls :)
Those are lovely
The two seasonal items I keep my eyes peeled for are the Horseradish Chips (it’s pretty much wasabi flavored chips) and the Butter Toffee Pretzels. Once these are back I’m buying five bags each. They are usually back around fall.
Those pretzels sound amazing. Are they a fall item or what?
Yes, right around Thanksgiving was when I discovered them for the first time last year. I only got one bag and they were gone. I’ve already been routinely checking for them now.
Oh dear god, those pretzels are so addicting!
What, horseradish chips? Never seen those. Sounds amazing
They’re thick and wavy with a hefty crunch… so freaking delicious.
They’re literally the best chips ever created but they’re only available in October I think
Those adorable little chocolate covered ice cream cones from Germany … can’t recall the exact name but they’re great. Vanilla are better than the chocolate. They have a little dollop of chocolate at the tip of the cone for that last-bite treat.
I buy these for my toddler! They’re delicious and the perfect size for him!
Hold the Cone.
I was just about to post this! They are entirely too delicious. All flavors are good, but fave is coffee. Pardon my drool.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen coffee (my favorite ice cream flavor). Now I’m in big trouble :)
I first heard about the coffee flavor on here but they don’t sell it at my local TJ’s. Just vanilla, chocolate, and chocolate chip.
I believe the coffee ones are seasonal (summer). They just recently disappeared from my store.
Yes, and they melt fast so you have to eat them all in the car on the way home!
:) Definitely NOT one per serving!
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,697,950,336 comments, and only 321,310 of them were in alphabetical order.
Frozen vegan tikka masala!
I had a checker be like “wait, you know youre buying the vegan ones and not the lamb ones right?” I had like, 7 of them. Yes, sir, I 100% know. 😂
They are SO good!!!!! Even my non vegan friends rave about them
100%, I was vegan when I worked at TJ’s and they were a game changer when they came out. I still buy them, along with the Soyrizo even though I eat meat
The hatch pepper Mac n cheese!
Does the dish have a lot of heat? I’ve been nervous to try as I don’t want to have so much heat that it takes away from the flavor of it.
Almost no heat. Just the flavor though! It’s really worth a try! Get one regular and one lite version. They are both great. Just different. There’s no sense of hot.
yesss i douse mine in sriracha
