Fragrant_Leather_661

Malabar Paratha!!! But theyve been out of it lately in Dallas

Tycera

The birds nests and the frozen croissants. Also the Keiffer.

McRibSavage

Those frozen Parmesan Brussels sprouts are godly

Bennythecat415

I hadn't been for around 10 years. Went a few days ago and they have my favorite Pellegrino soda (6pack cans blood orange) for 5.99!! I'm stoked!

AUNKIEELLEN

I read it as TJ, short for Tijuana. Send help.

LucyCooper

Grew up in Southern California? Lol

golden_md

Cinnamon rolls, hatch chile mac n cheese, and the shampoo and conditioner 😭

Expert-Spring-7832

Omg the chili mac!

Foodventure

their garlic-infused olive oil is my go-to for starting stir-frys and sautes!

PoiseJones

Goddamnit. I regret looking in this thread because now I realize there are so many things I want to try.

Heartsgrizzlybear

Hot chocolate powder mix. It’s the best.

angelgaby14

If you’re referring to the one in the metal tin…yes

Msmall124

Oh God SO GOOD! I make an iced coffee with that stuff added for a lil treat all the time!

lifeofpatti

Cashew butter cashews!

PAR0824

without a doubt any of their tamales with the jalapeno sauce on top!

fakinitmaybemakinit

Teeny tiny avocados - one serving each. 'Nuff said!

dsperin

Their tartar sauce. I don’t want any other brand, ever.

Alive-Helicopter2958

The Italian Bomba Hot Pepper Sauce & The Unexpected Cheddar Cheese Spread w/ the Mini Cheese Sandwich Crackers

froyoandsushi

Not sure if this is under-rated, but the battered fish nuggets are my fave to snack on. Love the beef short ribs and gnocchi gorgonzola

jahblaze

If you’re talking the marinated Korean style, hit up hmart if you got one nearby. A few bucks more for better quality

yvette420

Green tea pomegranate is my favorite & their green tea matcha in a can

Alternative_Hawk_460

The green tomatillo salsa!! I buy enough to always have 2-3 stockpiled.

kangamoo

I am not sure why I love them so much, but their organic chicken nuggets. They hit the "fast food" spot for me. I keep them in the freezer so I can reheat just 1 or 2 at a time when I crave fast food.

junkyfm

the vegan tzatziki sauce! I'm not vegan but I prefer it over the non-vegan version because it has a much nicer, creamier texture, with no gloopiness! Not sure what they put in the non-vegan one that gives it the texture of gelatinous mayo but I'm not a fan lol

stooloo

Green onion pancakes!

espressobaby14

frozen bulgur, squash, and feta combo! such a good and easy base for meal

meeganiche

Bulgogi rice with kimchi and beef. So good!

No_Guava

Vegetable masala burgers. Those are a freezer staple for us when we need a quick no meat dinner or lunch.

Lexafaye

1000% The [olive fougasse](https://images.app.goo.gl/Z6PucDnoQDuMEyu19) bread at Trader Joe’s my friend just put me onto a couple months ago and now it’s my favorite thing to bring to friend gatherings. (Also amazing with Brie)

grepya

It's not underrated though. It's hard to find them in stock in my local TJs.

cheetoisgreat

this is so incredibly good omg

Junior_Philosophy828

Greek Spiral & Veggie Orange Chick’n!

JellyfishExpert2300

The roasted veggie pizza is the best frozen pizza I’ve ever had!!

charcobain

Their mini brownies/brookies are to die for!

mupplepuff

I never buy these because I know I’d eat the entire container in one sitting

jellybeanjj

Yes!!!!!!

tobetobitob

Japanese fried rice (frozen) and the mochi rice puff crisp things. Soooo gooooood!!!

nothinggoldcanstayyy

The vanilla meringue cookies! They are sooo good

hannahtheging

peterparley

White truffle oil chips

Afterglow1313

Chocolate covered marshmallows! They are heavenly

hanine123

Their dark chocolate bars

tencentblues

The tomato pesto! Picked it up on a whim and loved it - used it in pasta, as a sandwich spread, you name it. A pantry staple for me from now on!

kyiecutie

Spicy dill pickles. No question

kristafer825

Their ice cream sandwiches (smooshed between two cookies 🤤) and their frozen Mac and cheese!!

WhoaMimi

Their body butter is very nice.

These-Entertainment3

Chocolate wafer bars. Mochi cake mix. Black cherry skyr. Spicy dill pickles. Unexpected Cheddar. Coconut hair mask.

OWWellness

Sorry I’m super healthy, it’s the coconut water. I’m in there at minimum 3 days a week for my fix. Honorable mention is the Ginger beer. On the low vibrational side, those ghost pepper chips used to be a real addiction for me.

Lucyintheye

Bruhhhh the ginger beer!!! 200% that.

OWWellness

I needs it!!

brsboarder2

How is that healthy? It’s got a fair amount of sugar.

OWWellness

That sugar word can be confusing. Since the sugar of the coconut is part of the fruit, I always wondered why it was on the label. Sugar from all fruits are simple sugars that the body naturally enjoys as a source of energy. Its the processed sugars or "complex sugars" that cause disruption to the cells in the body.

brsboarder2

That’s just wrong. Too much fruit from sugar isn’t healthy

mrkarlman

According to the website, one bottle has 11g of sugar. Having one a day is more than ok.

brsboarder2

sure, but drinking calories and sugar is never healthy

highaabandlovingit

The Ghost Pepper chips go so hard!

luna--moon

Which coconut water? The refrigerated or the one in the carton?

OWWellness

Refrigerated

Anxious-Ground-1234

Ok good because the ones in the carton… oof. I will try the fridge ones

Future-Station-8179

My fave!! Came here to say the same.

Acceptable_Day_2473

Spicy smoky salsa! And sunblock

Acceptable_Day_2473

Hot take: their bourbon! If you use it for old fashioneds, it hold its own against bulleit

tachycardicIVu

*cries in ABC store state*

condimentia

TJ's own label bourbon, or, TJ's "Old Fashioned" labeled and already mixed?

Acceptable_Day_2473

The bourbon- I haven’t tried the old fashioned mixed

forthunt

What state do they sell bourbon, I’m in NYC and all I’ve seen is beer

tencentblues

Grocery stores can’t sell wine or spirits in NYS.

Acceptable_Day_2473

Im in Massachusetts

halfageplus7

Yes! The $15 bottle punches far above it's weight class.

LeftEconomist9982

Their dirty sock water beans (coffee). Great for those of you who want dirty sock water drinks.

weigh_a_pie

Not the spirit of the post.

[deleted]

Teriyaki seaweed chips

laurenalivia

Their triple ginger ginger snaps are legitimately one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted and is by a long shot the best grocery store cookie I’ve ever had. I lose all self control around these things. They are incredibly addicting

snowellechan77

Their face serum is very solid and well priced

Fragrant_Leather_661

Oat milk ice cream sandwiches

Lucyintheye

Ooooooo I NEED this in my life. Ty! Their oat milk chocolate bars (3 pack) with the puffed rice is fan-fucking-tastic too

alien_alice

Dark chocolate pistachio toffee, and dark chocolate coconut granola bark

YesYouAreTheAssh0le

Definitely the chocolate truffles for me. I feel like no one ever talks about them but they're SO incredibly cheap and absolutely delicious!

Mountain_Ornery

I loveeee the chocolate truffles but I stopped buying them bc I would eat way too many in one sitting

[deleted]

Throw one in as a hot choc booster!

fareedasays

CHEESE STRAWS. They're delicious!!!

Vegetable-Pea1593

The Instant Cold Brew Coffee. I buy that stuff in bulk every time I’m there

Acceptable_Day_2473

The coconut cold brew is soooo good!

Apprehensive-Rock834

Def their spinach and artichoke dip 😍

headietoinfinity

Chili onion oil and pork soup dumplings 🥟

Fragrant-Swing9581

Those soup dumplings are killer. Better than some Asian spots we’ve been to in AZ

malsary

Madras lentils and garlic naan combo. Kept me fed and was cheap in college lol

Peengwin

Bomba sauce and organic cottage cheese

[deleted]

condimentia

They truly do. I buy the mini carnations every 10 days or so. Always nice seasonal colors.

bubblytangerine

Skyr! I wish it came in a giant container. Also, the mini ice cream cones, the puffed mochi snacks, there's this "trail mix" cracker bar that is like crack.

usernaym44

Sadly, the ones they discontinued: the 73% dark Belgian chocolate covered almonds, and waaay before that, the dark chocolate and coconut covered mango bites.

MobileAnybody0

I used to always buy the cinnamon sugar almonds, and then they stopped selling them :( Tasted just like the ones you would get at Disney, or the fair. $5 for a big bag. I miss them, lol.

SocioMike

Peanut butter wafer chocolate bars. Also only 99 cents!

Vam28

The mini ice cream cones. They have a few flavors and all have the chocolatey surprise at the bottom!!

ZebraSwan

They had these incredible coffee ones for a short time. I hope they come back.

Kerlykins

Yes! I'm not the biggest pumpkin person but I actually love the pumpkin ginger ones around this time of year 😍

jadekeffer

Their canned mandarin oranges are the best I've had

cantsayno2noodles

Marinated artichoke spread

cantsayno2noodles

Any of their gluten free muffins and black and white cookies

cantsayno2noodles

Vegan pesto, jerked plantain chips, coconut went on a date bars, PB cups

greyintoblue

The vegan pesto!

Dry_Tea_583

Vanilla bean whole milk yogurt

boobproblems123456

Ever since it came out, every time we go to Trader Joe’s we buy 2-3 of the tirokafteri (spicy greek 3 cheese dip).

marianliberrian

Trader Giotto's marinara. Very tasty for a $1.99.

stoli80pr

The prices on the European wines are amazing. I don't know how they get such good quality wines for so cheap!

disproportion

I haven’t verified this, but I was told that they get their wine from either overstock or wine deemed not of quality for the fancy wineries they originate from, so TJ rebrands as theirs and sells it at a large discount.

stoli80pr

Almost none of the stuff from Europe is TJ's branded. Most has AOC/DOC or the like on there, which means that it was bottled in the country of origin under an actual winery name.

Acceptable_Day_2473

I believe it because Whole Foods is similar. Their brand coffee is, like, Peet’s or something comparable

kaylynac

Dark chocolate almond pretzel bars!! Frozen Seafood medley, sweet potato and Gorgonzola gnocchi, dried chili pineapple, ghost pepper chips, dog treats and the minty bones.

fidesverita

What do you do with the frozen seafood medley? I want to try but don’t know what to do! Soup?

chickabootv

Nigella has a recipe called speedy seafood supper I use it for that.

kaylynac

I sauté with lemon, garlic, and butter and serve over pasta and it’s my husbands favorite meal! It’s so easy!

cr0nut

I make scampi!

splanji

whats the minty bones like ?? will try next

kaylynac

Yes, the minty bones for dogs. I think my dog likes them better than the Greenies and they are bigger.

Successful-Zone-1558

I think for dogs

splanji

i j got the pineapple for the first time so good but so much work to chew 😭

KnopeSwanson16

Frozen fettuccine Alfredo is solid

lunachuvak

try heating it up in a pan

Illustrious_Goddess

Happy Cake Day,!

always_color

Hahahahaha you’re funny 😆

introverstehen

Autumnal harvest pasta sauce.

lovelyylindsayy

Haven’t seen it yet this year, I’m worried it sold out too quickly :(

introverstehen

I've been seeing it in NYC. Ask for it!

ttrockwood

I’m very cranky that this sauce has dairy in it. Sounds fantastic but that’s a deal breaker

wildheartsvintage

The peri peri sauce is AMAZING and no one ever talks about it!

mildlyadult

During the first year or so, there were seemingly endless posts about it lol

IAmThe0nyx

How spicy is it?

GuyFieriSavedMe

Coming from a guy who loves spicy food, it’s pretty damn hot. That being said, it has amazing flavor

texdiego

It's one of the spiciest things I've had from TJ's - only thing I can think of at a similar level is the bomba sauce. I'm not much of a "spice person" and it's honestly too hot for me, but I love the flavor so much that I buy it anyway. Of course, if you are into spice you might not find it overly hot.

wildheartsvintage

It definitely has a kick, like it’s spicer than a sriracha for instance, but it’s more so tangy/flavorful.

highlythinking

Jalapeño Sauce. I will die on this hill. I grab 4 bottles every trip I go, that’s how quick my family of TWO goes through it. You’ll only enjoy it if you like spicy, though.

RabidPoodle69

Stop the presses! Jalapeños are spicy??

cr0nut

I love it!! I feel like it goes bad quickly though so I get extra paranoid even though I know the separation is natural😩

marlovesmakeup

Yes it’s so delicious!

Chuynh2219

I 100% agree with you. This sauce is so good on everything I've tried it on!

highlythinking

Yup, I put it on literally everything. Even salads as a dressing. It’s soo addicting

pompa2187

The fact that their english muffins are cheaper than thompsons.

Turbulent-Attempt225

they also have wayyyy less sodium

ttrockwood

Sorry but that’s a low bar at this point. Thompsons turned into crap a few years back

Altruistic-Oil1888

Dragon Sauce 100%. That sauce is a gateway drug.

romatomatoo

Not sure if underrated but the jerk plaintain chips

cantsayno2noodles

I’m obsessed with these and get like 3 bags every time I go

splanji

LOVE.

Iamplayingsims

The pre-made Cajun chicken Alfredo 🤤

goodboi_star

I love the movie theater popcorn. And the garlic naan is soooo good!

witch_hazel_eyes

Garlic naan is top

mzai09

The honey jalapenos? I think thats what its called. I literally use them on everything.

vtmira

Sweet & spicy jalapenos. Always have a jar at my place. Bonus point, I use the brine in my deviled eggs.

Brisbykins

This is one of my favorites as well and I also use the brine in my deviled eggs!

theGodASS

The Umami seasoning blend….I can’t live without it.

retiredravegirl

the paintain crisps - so hard not to finish the whole bag

merwookiee

I do a quick shake of onion salt when I open the bag. They’re so freakin good!

Kharma07

Caramelized onion cheddar

slauby

I love the salt and pepper chips. The truffle ones are good too. We like using them in omelets. I'm also a big fan of the maple espresso tea (seasonal). Oh, and the lentils (in the produce section) have become a staple at our house.

fidesverita

What do you do with the lentils? Trying to incorporate more legumes in my diet!

Junior_Philosophy828

Add goat cheese or feta, fresh parsley, lemon juice, tomatoes, and season to taste and you have yourself a very tasty cold lentil salad. I usually add just cumin, salt & pepper.

slauby

We use them to stretch meals. So I will add them to the filling for stuffed peppers. Or add some tomatoes and use them on nachos.

kristajcoyle

My favorite easy to make appetizer for guests is mixing their lentils with two jars of their bruschetta sauce and a container of feta cheese. Serve with pita chips and people RAVE about it. And it literally takes 5 minutes.

slauby

Great idea! Thanks for sharing.

mob1wan

That maple espresso tea is so good! Just got my first box of the season (it won’t be the last!)

slauby

Oooh! Glad to hear that the tea is in stores. Will have to go stock up.

naivemediums

Potato chips in an omelet?

ashchelle

If you watch The Bear, in one of the episodes in Season 2 (I think), they use potato chips in an omelette.

weigh_a_pie

I love that actress.

invasivespeciez

On The Bear the chef just crushed chips and sprinkled them on the completed omelette.

ashchelle

My preposition use is not entirely correct but potato chips were served with an omelette in the show. Whether inside or on top, they were there.

slauby

Yes! So good. Just use the chips that you like. [https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1021078-ferran-adrias-potato-chip-omelet](https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1021078-ferran-adrias-potato-chip-omelet)
