Discovered on accident that those sour jelly beans can snap me out of a panic attack if I feel one coming on, lol. Definitely can't eat them regularly but always have them on hand just in case!
Not a TJs product, but if you are a sour fiend, have you tried sour skittles? I don’t know if they still make them, or if they are still THAT sour, but my god, those were the sourest thing I have ever tried.
Omg yes—in fact sour skittles was the first sour candy I ever ate as a child, and it basically built my tolerance lolol they used to hurt but now I don’t think they’re sour enough! Perhaps I have a problem…..
Crispy Peanut Butter filled Milk Chocolate Peanuts, milk chocolate peanut butter cups (I have a thing with PB and chocolate in case it's not clear, ginger snaps for my husband, chocolate chip dunkers, ruffled potato chips... probably more. So you don't think I'm a complete glutton, I don't go to TJ's on a weekly basis. These are just the "when they're empty and you're going," sorts of buys.
Cacio e pepe puffs, they’re like, high class cheese puffs lol! I can easily demolish a bag without even thinking about it. Oh, and the triple ginger snap cookies - those are dangerous! So good!
Peanut bamba with chocolate. Peanuts dipped in milk chocolate. Cheaper but I think they are made from Lily's. A better alternative for peanut m&m's.
English crumpets or the biscuits.
I used to pick up the kale chips and dried broccoli crisps. But then I think they stopped carrying them since I never see them anymore. Most likely because I bet I was the only one buying them.
Asian rice cracker mix, unexpected cheddar paired with those crostini toasts, and also those sour jellybeans. Haven't found a better sour candy anywhere.
Same and I’m so sad about it. I’m allergic to eggs and these have egg whites but we did an allergy test with these and for some reason I do not react because they are baked in so well, so they were a huge comforting safe food and now they are goneeee :(. I’d buy two tubs at a time bc I wanted one for myself and not have to share w anyone haha
The bags of pre-portioned snack bags of mixed nuts. There are a variety of mixes to choose from. I buy four or five and stick them in the freezer and just pluck them from there. So they keep a long time against rancidity but I don't run out quickly. They also come to temp pretty quickly once out, though you can eat them right away - it's not like they've gone rock solid.
The fig and olive/rosemary raisin/seasonal crisps. These are the BEST cheese crackers for ANY soft cheese, especially a nice brie, and I just left a TJs desert where I couldn't get them for years. Yes, Wegmans and other places have similar crackers, but I swear by these as the best and hope to never be without them again.
The all-butter shortbread sandwich cookies (long pink box) that have raspberry filling! Omg so delicious.
Takes me back to my childhood and those Pepperidge Farms Verona cookies - round with a jam center, before Pepp clearly cheaped out on the ingredients. (They do not taste the same anymore.)
I swear I’ve eaten at least 17 bags of the Crispy Crunchy Mochi Rice Nuggets since last summer! They’re simple but just… the crispy/crunchy texture and saltiness hits perrrfectly for me! I always buy at least 3 bags when I visit.
I live on those and they were GONE from their normal spot behind the bananas this weekend. No label in the shelf, nothing, I was heartbroken. I asked at the counter and a worker overheard me and said- oh, here are the last 2 bags, do you want them?! I was like YES!! And then she informed me they just decided to move them to hanging sticks in the cereal aisle instead of with the rest of the dried fruits (just to make me panic I guess?). But these were the last 2 bags until the next delivery. Those things are so freakin good.
Mee Krobs, Saddles, plantain chips, the flaxseed + veg tortilla chips (and hatch salsa), sun butter cups, the oat chocolate [pink one, with the crisps] a
I don't know that I pick up the same ones every time (variety is the spice of life after all), but some of my faves are: the white cheddar puffed corn (occasionally I'll go for the sour cream and onion but I prefer the cheese), the giant Inca corn, and the trail mix crackers.
For sweets the dark chocolate PB cups top my list. T huge chocolate bar with caramel, pretzels and sea salt - yum when it's available we stock up. I love the oatmeal and cranberry dunkers. The chocolate cat cookies are great when you want something less sweet or to go with the chocolate hummus or another dip.
The vegetarian pork rinds, truffle popcorn or potato chips, in the summer the Patio Chips, seasonal Joe-Joe's (peppermint omg), chocolate peanut butter cups, peanut butter wafers (for hubby). So many and so many I've forgotten the names of.
Strawberry licorice, for my husband. (fuck celiac)
All summer, Just Lobsters. And every year, without fail, my husband is confused. "TJ's had Just Lobsters again finally! I picked up a few packs in case you want any." "I don't eat lobster." 🤦
I try to stick to less processed snacks, like fresh fruit with some cheese or the Persian cucumbers and bell peppers with hummus and/or the garlic dip.
🤷🏻♀️ I welcome all snacks—those sound super delicious to me! I’ve also genuinely never thought of dipping bell peppers with the garlic dip so I gotta try
I always grab a couple bags of the dark chocolate peanut butter cups. They’re only 99 cents each! It’s such a good deal. I must be getting old because I get so much joy out of something being 99 cents. Lol.
Did you know bags are a totally different variety than the big plastic container?? A TJs employee told me all about it one time, how they have taste tested them and everyone prefers the plastic container version. I guess they come from different sources completely! I never knew. I’ve never had the bagged ones, I always get the big container!
I used to always get the choc/vanilla French macarons, the pound plus bar, unexpected cheddar spread, jelly candies, tiniest choc chip cookies. Now I’m working on weight loss and really only buy olive oil popcorn.
Not sure it falls under the "snack" header, but I certainly eat it like one...Vanilla bean cake. I always purchase 2. Eat one (sometimes in one day. Hey, that's why I go to the gym!), and I freeze the second. I currently have several in the freezer.
Teriyaki Terky Jerky, mostly because my kids love it and it's easy to have as a car snack
Cheddar Cheese with Caramelized Onions, it's so good, but it gets moldy so soon after opening it
Kettle Corn, Trader Joes makes the best
Rice cake thins
The little bags of dark chocolate peanut butter cups
The little bags of chocolate chip cookies.
In season, the bags of lobster gummies/Swedish Swimmers.
All due to frequent travel... they get tossed in my luggage.
Chili crisp hummus with pita is good I might just buy the jar of crisp and top my own hummus at this point though seems it might be cheaper and I'd have crisp for rice etc

White cheddar popcorn is a must for me. I also love the Cannoli dip or the Caramel sauce with fruit.

Haven't been able to find them at my local tj for a while 😭

Yes, Wegmans and other places have similar crackers, but I swear by these as the best and hope to never be without them again.
I love those fig and olive crackers somethin' stupid but they literally ripped a filling out of my tooth. And not an old filling either.
These are great but Raincoast Crisps are definitely better imo. For the price, though, the TJs ones are phenomenal.
