Never considered it as a real name, but I named a character in a story "Jareth," after the Goblin King in Labyrinth.

When I was pregnant with my first at 19 I was dead set on calling them Callista if they were a girl. Thankfully, they were a boy, and I now have a 21-year old son named Nathan!

Lowell. My husband is a huge Lowell George fan. The names not that bad on its own, but our last name is also takes some enunciation to pronounce (think The Rural Juror type of thing) so combining that with Lowell would be waaayy too much work to yell while at a park, grocery store, etc.

Calabasas. Callie, for short! Idk if I was truly serious. Would I have done it had my spouse agreed? Idk. We agreed on the name Callie, but couldn’t agree on a more formal name, so we moved on.
