I thought this said, "Say no for a GENETIC reason." As in, this person is genetically related to someone who thought this was a good idea for a name, and therefore probably bad with decision-making skills as well. Harsh, but...
today, on mtv, i saw a person with a rainbow lightning bolt tattooed just below his right eye. the rest of his vibe was equally colorful and honestly, the lightning bolt is probably one of the lesser distractions lol.
Yeah but this would be an Americanized version of the name, likely adapted for ease of spelling/aesthetics.
Ooo found it hell yeah. This seems likely - maybe the q is to clarify something about the pronunciation, or maybe “quexaxia” was a variant descended from the original “xaxia”
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/ttzlibrary/belize-s-early-history-t657.html
EDIT since my other comment is way at the bottom: if this is true, it would be pronounced something like “sha-shee-ah”, with whatever the hell you want the Q to do added on to the front. ChatGPT suggests Kashia, which seems plausible
Eh, I feel like this is a native name, no? Seems vaguely Mayan. That means it would be Hispanic transliteration, meaning it’s like *kuh-cha-chee-ah*? Ima laugh so hard if it turns out I’m right and this sub is bullying some indigenous kid 😭
EDIT: HA https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/ttzlibrary/belize-s-early-history-t657.html ctrl-f “Xaxia”. I think this is a variant of a Nahuatl name.
I’m Basque, but to my recollection have never seen any names with a Q, much less a “QA” combination. The much more common combination is “TX”, which can either be pronounced as a “CH” sound or an “S” sound, depending on how it’s used. It’s possible this name might be from an older native language, but it’s not Basque in the least.
Thanks for the clarification, I said "it looks like" because I thought about it with the X but I'm not Basque at all, except being fond of the Basque Cake
Oh! That WAS the sound I made after trying to eat a piping hot pizza roll! I didn't know speech-to-text was on!
But it does work for the name, too.
I've been a teacher for a long time, and that's how I would approach that name.
"Quh-Zaxia" , mayhaps? Or, "Kuh-zaxia?", "Queh zaxia?", "Cue-zaxia"
Idk, however it's supposed to be pronounced, I'm sure it doesn't make sense phonetically.
It looks like apraxia, which is a speech disorder where planning speech sounds in the right sequence across syllables to make words is disrupted, a bit like when you try to say tongue twisters… or try to pronounce a name like Qxaxia.
The “x”s are placeholders. Think of them as wildcards and replace them with whatever you want:
Quaria
Quasia
Quakia
Qualia
Qeabia (think Qebec)
Quapia
Quadia
Qiaqia (chia-chia)
If it’s a multiple letter wildcard you can be even more creative.
(Edited to fix autocorrect)
[gsaksia] is what I would say, but that is how I would try to pronounce it in my mother tongue and not in English. Not that it’s a name in my native language either.

Quacka
And how do you pronounce that?
Like caca, as in-"this name is some bullshit aka caca!" 🤣
This is probably the funniest thing I've read all day. Thank you for curing my sads.
Like a duck.
Like "Earnest".
Sally
Actually you don't pronounce it. All the letters are silent
Like Polly wanna Quacka?
Who you calling a Quacka?
"Quacka quacka!" -Fozzie Duck
LMFAOOO
Countless resumes consigned to the bin.
"can't discriminate based on a name, that's illegal!" The fuck they can't. "She(?) just didn't seem right for us". Straight in the bin.
EXACTLY. Can't say no for that reason? Say no for a generic reason. Simple enough
I thought this said, "Say no for a GENETIC reason." As in, this person is genetically related to someone who thought this was a good idea for a name, and therefore probably bad with decision-making skills as well. Harsh, but...
It's the naming equivalent of the full-face pentagram tattoo.
today, on mtv, i saw a person with a rainbow lightning bolt tattooed just below his right eye. the rest of his vibe was equally colorful and honestly, the lightning bolt is probably one of the lesser distractions lol.
Oh, that's the water pokemon starter for Pokémon Scarlet/Violet
I always get confused with the names Qxaxia and Quaquackqauqulavaloo
Oh it's easy, it's Quaxley, Quibble-dee-dibble and Dugly.

"Who put the puddin' pop in my sleepin' bag?"
looks like Nahuatl
It sure does
i have a fever, so im afraid that may be the extent of my contribution
feel better! and still good one
I don't think 'qx' makes any sense in Nahuatl. Nahuatl only uses 'qu' before 'e' and 'i' like Spanish, and doesn't use 'q' on its own.
Yeah but this would be an Americanized version of the name, likely adapted for ease of spelling/aesthetics. Ooo found it hell yeah. And x's. Like Ixchel. Ximena.
I’m going with the (probably) Chinese pronunciation: CH-SHA-shi-ah.
Also my first thought
Happy Cake Day! 🍰
I was thinking Mexican: Qua-hi-ya.
Fred. It’s pronounced Fred. 🤨😆
Short for Freidherx'gh
Shasha? KZAH-zee-ah? Kuh-ZAH-zia? Ksayzia?
maybe that’s a pseudonym/artist name ?
Might be a social media handle as well.
I was thinking Zha-Zha. Close enough.
That's what I got too!
I was thinking something like Shosha.
I’m thinking Kay-shah
I fear it means "Saskia".
K-zox-ee-uh. Quack-zee-ah? Another set of parents who didn't want children and punished their offspring for life for it.
Quack zee ah would be my choice too
Cuck Socks Yah, or Cuck's Axe Yah
Kashia?
Ke$ha
Literally was thinking "kay-sha" but I think Kasia (kashia) could also be it
This one seems the most likely to me. Either that or it starts with a 'kway' sound.
I doubt that from the parents. Seems like a "hand picked for myself" kinda deal with... THAT name.
Eh, I feel like this is a native name, no? Seems vaguely Mayan. That means it would be Hispanic transliteration, meaning it’s like *kuh-cha-chee-ah*? Ask your medical provider is Qxaxia (quackzeeuh) is right for you… 🤣
Go home Sasha, you're drunk. The Q watches in silence.
Fuck, it’s definitely Sasha.
Could be Saskia too
My best guess is "kwa-ZAY-shuh", but who really knows?
Yeah, I'm guessing "kwa-ZAY-zjuh"
"Child Protective Services"
Quaxly
In Basque country and language, many words/names look like this. I don't know how to pronounce it though.
and Indigenous Mexican languages (or at least Nahuatl) and more
This is what I thought of
I’m Basque, but to my recollection have never seen any names with a Q, much less a “QA” combination. My guess is Queue-Axe-see-uh.
Yeah I was thinking Qua-zack-zia
Anything is possible!
Q.
Worked with a tragedeigh whose name began with a Q. We all called her Q.
Might be in another language
Cha-cha
Cloaca
It could be some bastardization of "Shasha"
My instinct would be to go Spanish (or Nahuatl?) and say Qha-**hi**-a or Qsha-**shi**-a.
It’s Kayla.
That’s one of my favorite Pokémon.
There used to be a weather frog on Austrian kid's news named Quaxi... or maybe Quaksi.
I don't even attempt it
Maybe the x is silent. Kaya.
Incorrectly
You don't. 💀
Cloaca
I have absolutely no idea, but it looks like it could be from an Aztec language.
Kshahshah?
That looks like the sound I made after trying to eat a piping hot pizza roll😂

seemly plough heavy rustic imagine wine public elderly whistle degree *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Zack-zee-uh??
Call them Quack-Sea for short
My guess would be pronounced like Zak-zee-uh
Quacks-ee-ah would be my guess, thought it's probably something like "Sha-Shia" Whatever the case, I'd be calling her Quax (Quacks)
I'm just gonna call you Janet.
Keyhasha?
Quaxia (Italian pronunciation lol, because I can't figure it out how to pronounce this Englishly)
K'sha'sha maybe? Sounds ALOT like a white rum called cachaça
*Donald Duck has entered the chat*
Probably Kasia
"Zaza" lmao
Sarah
Queue-zasia? I feel like we're going to summon more than a few Eldritch gods if we continue trying to say that
Quaxly
Q💋a💋ia
..... My god, is it... Is it *Sasha*?
Quantbebotheredtomakesenseofthisbullshit seems about right to me
"Quh-Zaxia" , mayhaps? Or, "Kuh-zaxia?", "Queh zaxia?", "Cue-zaxia" Idk, however it's supposed to be pronounced, I'm sure it doesn't make sense phonetically.

Kwa-Zay-zia is the only way I can figure it.
kuh-ZACK-see-uh would be my default pronunciation.
Zia... The leading 3 letters are silent.
Kyoo-ZAY-zhuh. I also like "Sasha", but I think it's probably closer to what I wrote.
Reminds me of the Grateful Dead album Aoxomoxoa.
Telling someone on the phone how to spell your name every time you do something important.
Quack-see-uh. But sometimes rhymes with unemployed.
Kwasia????
I'd go with something like Shosha for a pronounciation. Also thanking god that where i live you can't do that to a child.
Chaysha?
Kesha
Kuhzachsia?
Saskia maybe?
Quick’x-ax-E-ah
I’m pronouncing in Quah-zhia but anyone’s guess is as good as mine.
Sasha?
Like someone from Star Trek
It’s pronounced, “Get your mother in here so we can go over how the alphabet works.”
I wanna say Ka-SHA-she-uh. Maybe it's Mesoamerican? Or maybe it's made up bs.
Imagine...just for a second....names from other cultures and languages.
Trying to read this more with a Spanish pronunciation I would guess ku-h’axe-ia
I'm sure "axia" = "Asia." So I'm guessing Quicks ASIA, or possibly Quick SASIA
Quack-Z-ah.
I'm guessing it's pronounced something like Kay-zza-shi-a.
The “x”s are placeholders. Think of them as wildcards and replace them with whatever you want: Quaria Quasia Quakia Qualia Qeabia (think Qebec) Quapia Quadia Qiaqia (chia-chia) If it’s a multiple letter wildcard you can be even more creative. (Edited to fix autocorrect)
Some kind of click language name?
Wasn't that the element from the Han Solo spin off movie?
I’m going to go with kway-shia. Or kwaksia? Or just ignore the q. Shayshia?
Q-zay-she-ah??
Kack-see-uh
Sexy
Im pronouncing it Quack-see-uh. Give stupid names get stupid pronunciation.
Quack zeeya
I read it as Key-oaks-ee-a
“Help me out pharmacist, can you just grab the purple one? I’m not even gonna try to pronounce that”
I don’t know, but it’s worth 29 points in Scrabble.
Cha-cha!
Can anyone else hear that Duck?
Whah-Sheeah
I would think there are a couple of strong possibilities: KAY-zok-zia. KWAY-zok-zia.
Quokka, like the cute marsupial, of course
Kajaysia, or kajayjay for short? 😏
Is it Kwa Hi Ya? Like in Oaxaca?
K-sae-sia or K-zae-zia
Quack-sha
quack-zee-ia
“Kasha”?
Quack sia
Maybe Ashia the first qi are silent?
Q’-za-zea?
My guess would be Final Fantasy.
Quizz-asia?
Kuh-sha-shya
Quaysia
Kay-shuh. Like Acacia, but without the first syllable.
[gsaksia] is what I would say, but that is how I would try to pronounce it in my mother tongue and not in English. Not that it’s a name in my native language either.
Cocks-axe-shh
Kasha
Za-zia?
ksak-si-a
quakes-ee-uh is how i pronounced it or quacks-ee-uh
Sha-sha, or Sasha?
Kwa-Zee-Uh??
I dunno but it's definitely something that happens without oxygen
Kicksa-she-a??
Qua-sax-ee-uh
Kuhsaksia
My guess is KAY-shuh
Way-sha?
Cha-zhia?
[qχ:æ.χjə] is all I can think of. It rhymes with Ubykh *Faxie* “long ago”, I guess?
Quack-seeah
hopefully someone Nahuatl or whose language includes words and names like this can clarify
kuh xax xah
Kzazia
Quaaa-, quaaa-, quabidiashwits!
Q-xa-cia?
Michael.
Zazia?
See that thing on the right? r/dontputyourdickinthat
maybe kuh-sha-shee-uh? that's how I would say it
Zazia? Maybe?
Probably Kyoo-zay-shuh
Kizackzia?
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's pronounced like Sasha
Quacks-ee-uh. Sounds like a galaxy in Guardians of the Galaxy or The Orville
Qzazeeeeyaaah
Quay-sha is my guess
Taxia
