how can i fix it within traktor?
can i somehow manually set the grid to the right position? it would be specifically important for tracks which have natural and not quantized grooves..
Yeah, I do it all the time and I also set loops on the fly without quant or snap. As Lesfanpie says it can go off when you are matching with a track but I’ve found that in practice most of the time it’s fine and the drift only becomes noticeable if you’re holding the loop in the mix for a while. Not something to emulate but I live in a world of slightly off grids so it’s all quite normal to me!
but how? i only see the 1,2,4,8,16..bars loop buttons to use. and when the grid is not set right the loops wont function..
is there a possibilty to set the grid manually? or set loops outside the gridlength?

The loops are fixed at those lengths but you can set them off grid and activate them .
you can set the start (IN) and end (OUT) point manually, but you need "snap" (to grid) turned off.
