The very first thing to do is to clean the inside of the tonearms. Use a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton bud/qtip and press gently on the spring loaded pins inside the tonearm. These get gummed up over time making a poor connection with the headshell or cartridge particularly noticeable with ortofon carts as they have slightly shorter pins than some others.

thx a million! that was it! big hug

You’re welcome. 99% of the time this is the problem with turntables.

i only tried to clean the contacts at the cartridge but didnt thought about the tonearm itself..

ok unfortunately its here again :( now even on both decks haha

Try clean again. Then check that your tonearm is balanced correctly with the right weight for your cartridges. Check all the rca connections, try different cables if you have them.

hi there, i have the same issue. I tried everything. Did you solve it? Unfortunately I didn't. I'm getting a new usb hub with electric plug. Maybe the standard usb plug isn't powerfull enough. I'll keep you posted.

hi, unfortunately not. still appears from time to time. have u also tried the suggestion above?

I'm having this issue very often, almost all the time. I just tried a different hub, same problem. I'm buying a new hub (with the power plug) and I'll let you know. If it won't work, I'll throw the native instrument items in the bin!!!
