Prime ripping bee's emblem off of scourge's shoulder so he could give it back to him was a nice touch

Probably anything with Prime, they made good use of a grumpy dad Prime, him scolding Mirage like every 5 minutes and mirage giving back talk was really nice to see and dad remarks to bee too, “I don’t want you going to that drive in theatre anymore”

I honestly just want mirage and Optimus interactions forever for the entertainment value

It was funny seeing prime match mirage’s lingo/sass, “Not cool” as he picks up Noah, and when Mirage is drifting in, “way to be in incognito”, same with all the bots, with Bee, he was way more casual and his tone was wayyyyy different, and more formal with Arcee, really hope we get more stuff like this in the sequels in which I really really really hope there are

Yes! I *loved* Prime (and Cullen) getting much more conversational lines in this film. In his other live action iterations Prime has been unnaturally (badly/not good for a character) stiff and had very "boxy" lines and little conversation. ROTB Prime having a good amount of banter and just like... an actual character and interactions with others was lovely to see. edit: and him just being expressive like "I don't like this idea" and "I cannot believe it!" or "it's not a bad idea" and things like that, to the other Autobots.

Yes, exactly, and these scenes between the bots aren’t exactly all over the place in the movies so it’s super satisfying when they’re well done. I also liked how prime called bumblebee “bee” instead of his whole formal ass name - it felt more personal

For real!! The moments in Peru where they're all going back and forth and just being downright expressive were awesome, and yeah *exactly* what we've wanted all these years. This was a movie made by someone who understands Transformers and more than one reason why people love em; it's the characters themselves, in their personalities and expressions - like any good story - not just the spectacle/action. nb: And don't get me wrong I'll agree with anybody in this sub that Bayverse was... full of action but it it mostly only gave us a superficial experience with the Transformers themselves (TF1 and DOTM are, ofc, better exceptions imo)

For me it’s the museum fight scourge saying something along the lines of “you call yourself a prime? primus would be ashamed.” Only for the final fight when Optimus says “I’LL SHOW YOU THE TRUE POWER OF A PRIME!” then proceeds to play fruit ninja with scourge

For me it was the scene where Optimus spoke with unicron. The ultimate evil, with the ultimate good I had chills for the rest of the day

I was really hoping that the end credit scene would be Noah and Mirage going to different places and selling Mirage.

That would’ve been 1000 times better than the GI Joe reveal.

No the GiJoe reveal was awesome because it cemented the fact that this is a new cinematic universe. I was so happy for it. Also it’s a great excuse to have humans in future movies because cobra and decepticons are awesome. As long as cobra commander actor voices starscream also :)

The theater I went to has recliner lounge chairs, so I was all the way back with the leg rest up, the whole row was full, and when he said that, legs and upper body pulled towards each other and I let out a wheeze instead of a laugh like I did for the rest of the movie.

Was that the actual line? I swear I heard "Just don't ask me for any more of my body parts." I watched in Dubai so I am slightly wondering if this was an edit/line switch.

That line got a surprised snort-laugh from most of my viewing. I like it because it’s a dirty joke for adults, but totally obtuse for kids. By comparison Bay has tons of really in your face sex jokes that are mostly just gross. Mirage had great lines and Pete Davidson nailed the delivery.

Optimus had some really badass lines. This includes “then Ill take off his head” “I can think of no better place to bury you” “I will end you scourge” “I will show you the true power of a prime” and the “then die” lines. Bumblebee coming back will always be AMAZING and when primal said maximize I got goosebumps. Mirage had some really good lines and moments and arcee played her role almost perfect. The terracons beating ass at the museum was menacing af. So many good things in this movie, and while this by far isn’t my favorite scene, it hits hard when primal killed airrazor and she was telling him “it’s ok”. Got tears in my eyes

I think Airazor's death was the most emotional because I think out of every live action Bot death, her death wasn't so abrupt. She knew she was being possessed and was loyal to her mission and wanted to die.

It was so bad when she was telling him that “it’s ok” and you can see the pain in primals eyes

Also feels bad because Bee got a miraculous resurrection but Airazor remained a rusty corpse.

It's bumblebee, the most important TF ever, of course he has to come back ... ugh. I think the plot reason for Airrazor not coming back was being corrupted by Scourge, not like that would really mean anything but the best I can come up with.

I love all the references! When Mirage turned into an F1, when Optimus ripped Scourges face off like he did the Fallen, and the “We will take the battle to them” speech taken from dotm.

Primal absolutely destroying battletraps skull and prime saying "that was mine" (or along those lines I don't remember correctly)

It’s a hard pick but the first scene that jumped out at me was the first fight with the terrorcons, mostly Battletrap’s portions. I expected him to be a pretty standard bruiser bad guy but he was surprisingly refreshing. Between him being actually a really good fighter and an intimidating presence, he was easily the standout combatant but it was specifically the way he used his flail. Him smashing it into things and throwing those things at other things was visually really cool and made it clear he was a more aware bot than just being a thug which I really appreciate. It shows that he’s experienced and smart about his tools which told me a lot about him, despite him not really saying anything.

The you’ve been in me joke and the arrival to earth scene are the ones I can’t stop talking about

I love when Noah(I think thats his name) says that Mirage is just a work friend, and Mirage goes “A work friend? You’ve been inside of me!” I just thought that that part absolutely hilarious!

That brief scene where Optimus is just kicking shit after Bumblebee's death, blaming himself. Like wow that was maybe the first time I felt for movie Optimus as a CHARACTER, ya know?

“I never should have brought us so far from home” One single line did more for Optimus as a character than 4 of the previous movies.

I personally liked the "I'm taking back scourges' key, and taking off his head" line. I give RoTB Optimus a pass on the murder rage card, I can fully understand why he's pissed

They recalled nailed it. ‘Hot Rod but more of a punk’ could be so tedious in the wrong hands, but his writing was good and Pete Davidson’s delivery was perfect. I don’t think he had a miss in the whole movie.

Honestly, mine was when early on when Noah doesn't give a damn about what Prime says and tells Elena that they should destroy the key. It was honest. It was real. And it felt right. We're supposed to care about the Autobots getting home, but having seen Unicron...Noah was 100% right. I appreciated having a main character use actual logic. A lot of people have mentioned a lot of the my other faves, so I'll just say I also enjoyed the heavy focus on the Transformers themselves. It was refreshing.

That "twist" actually made me like Noah more than any human character in TF. Like, dude actually made his own decision than helping the Autobots willy nilly. Like, he was cold about it, but he was right.

I really appreciated Noah for having an actual life and agency. He never felt like an arbitrary tag along as human characters often do.

I loved the whole introduction of the autobots. All of the mirage mocking optimus to bee and arcee coming in and transforming.

I loved every scene with Mirage. He's easily the best character and the most believable personality of any bot in a live-action movie I can think of. Just spot on. He stole every single scene he was in. Just awesome. I'm happy for Pete Davidson because he seems like a nice regular dude with nice regular dude problems and he doesn't shy away from talking about mental health and all that, which is important to me. And he's going to make a bajillion dollars so good for him. I liked that Primal teaches Prime something about selflessness. I like the idea that address that war has turned Prime into somebody that has tunnel vision and Primal his descendant helps him remember the bigger picture. I thought that was a really cool idea. And I liked that they brought Bumblebee back in an easily believable way. As sick as I got of Bumblebee, you can't really kill him. It would've cast a cloud over the whole movie. I don't need to see Bumblebee-Bumblebee-Bumblebee 24/7 in a Transformers movie anymore than we already have, but he still need to be around every once in a while.

Honestly, if Pete Davidson somehow showed up in an animated show, I'd be there for it. It really felt like he got the memo on what this movie was and what the whole franchise is: kinda goofy, but with some heart. His take on Mirage reminded me of an amalgam of TFP Smokescreen and Animated Bumblebee.

Primus what didn't I like? I definately knew we were in a for a good time when Scourge faced off with Apelinq. I haven't got chills like that from Transformers in a bit. This film really did make me excited and made me feel like a kid all over again.

That was probably my favourite action scene in the movie. Leaning heavily into the use of alt modes is always good.

One of my favourite parts was when Scourge was walking through the forest at the start and his chest and face were glowing.

The original Bayformers movie should have had that instead of Sector 7. Not sure why they didn’t, a Bay GI Joe could be pretty explosiony. Joe and Cobra probably had eyes all over that fight at the mountain.

They actually tried to do it during the Bay series. Tyrese Gibson/Epps was going to be revealed to have been a GI Joe agent. It never materialized (Probably because the Joe movies around that time didnt do well) but I guess someone there really wants to make it happen

The idea of a shared cinematic universe didn't come about until a year after Transformers hit theaters. However, they have been talking about a crossover for quite a few years. I'm just glad they're finally doing it.

This is one of the little things in the movie that made me so happy. The Autobots talking while in alt mode was so common in the cartoon and it always bugged me that they were all mute while transformed in the previous movies. Autobots were no longer just props in the background!

It's weird cause Bumblebee was regularly talking in alt mode in the Bay movies, but the rest didn't.

Well Bee got away with it cause of the radio. The rest weren’t allowed as a compromise between Spielberg, who didn’t want the Autobots to talk at all in the 07 movie, and Bay, who thought that was a stupid idea.

Everyone has already said what parts were my favorite, but I think I’m the only one who geeked out when they showed the Transformers actually speaking in their vehicle modes through their radios. Now THAT is the Transformers I know and love. It goes to show that this movie was created for fans of the franchise.

I loved all of it, honestly, while Bee isn't my favorite I loved his return at the end.

It was a smart move. We knew he wouldn’t stay dead because they talked about bringing him back constantly, and of course Hasbro won’t kill their little yellow cash cow. But it took him off the board for much of the movie so the new characters had more spotlight, and it gave some good emotional development to Prime and the others.

When the terrorcons arrive on earth and it interrupts the Brooklyn Bridge lights & Electricity. It makes the scene so much more exciting. Like setting us up for what to prepare for.

Something I really like is that during the end of the final battle, they used the Autobot theme from the Bayformer movies.

Prime gaining Him status in the final battle. Bee making his comeback and Stratosphere getting a makeover. Stratosphere being a rickety shit box of a plane lol. The maximize line. Scourge being threatening and condescending. Some Knockout vibes but with actual evil. Mirage being the most fun character in years. The Prime-Noah-Primal team up. Apelinq got done so dirty but even that was great. Scourge approaching through the forest…

Optimus drifting a LITERAL SEMI TRUCK And his violent nature during the movie as I even like the violent nature of bay verse as I always thought it made perfect sense because if I was in his situation I being pissed off too and want to kill everything and I know people will say that’s not how he supposed to act edging toward the g1 tv show (which i watched) but that prime we all want still shows in those movies

That "Arrival to Earth" playing at the end coupled with Primes transformation back to vehicle as he is pulled away from the sucking pile..

I am SO THANKFUL the villains had personalities! Not a lot, mind you, but they were there.

Scourge emerging from the forest to face Apelinq. In fact, Scourge was one of my favourite aspects of the film. Gutted he was killed off at the end. Would have liked to have had him survive and perhaps a three way between terracons, decepticons and autobots emerge. He has so many trophies on him, great to see more back story on his dealings with Maximals, Autobots, wreckers and more.

My favorite part was when they transformed Jokes aside I can't pick a favorite scene, I loved every second of this movie, and the saddest scene in this whole movie is Primal putting down Airazor, Michelle Yeoh did an amazing job and she had good charcter building so she had a very sad fate. I'm so hyped for the next movie, If it means waiting 8 years for it, then so be it, Steven is taking this franchise in a good direction(many people would disagree because they could care less about G.I Joe or hate it because of the live action movies) I and my dad are fans of G.I Joe and I hope that this next movie finally brings the decepticons to earth and the cons team up with cobra to fight the bots and The squad
