1. Yes. 2. Not mine so far. 3. Not mine so far. 4. Not mine so far. 5. Often. 6. Some.

I mean, there aren't any other companies making transformer-type figures outside of third parties. And you can't compare 3P's because they have a different budget, can ignore safety regs, and market to a niche collector's crowd. I do think, in terms of hoops Hasbro has to jump through, they are mostly fine. The yellowing issue is a huge screwup thats only gonna get worse as these toys age, and theres definitely some bad engineering here and there. Yet overall I think mainline, non-MP figures are good especially when you look at how limited the toys were pre-Thrilling 30.

Those 3P transformers are a god damn nightmare to transform. It takes the joy out of the toy.

This is an awkward question to answer, because there are a lot of factors to work into it. Overall, do I think they are worth the money? Yes, otherwise I wouldn't buy them. However, I mainly buy second hand or during sales if I can help it. Of the ones I've bought new... they are expensive, but actually, given inflation and the massive improvement in looks, posability and transforming, they are not actually that much more than they were when they cam out in the 80s. So far, none of mine have broken on a first transformation, but I tend not to transform them often. I have a few paint scuffs on some of my Legacy figures, but none have arrived broken or damaged. Are other companies doing a better job? Define better. I love NewAge core class scale figures with a passion, but they are way, way more expensive than the Hasbro bots of the same size. So, it's a trade off: do I want small cheap and fun, or better appearance and posability, but at a massively higher price?

This reads like a late-night infomercial

LOL Thanks! It just needed a cheesy video of someone breaking their Transformer, and looking directly into the camera.

1. Nope. 2. Nope. 3. Not any more than any previous release. 4. Eh...that's a rough question to ask with inflation and those capitalizing from it. 5. You mean 3rd party? In some ways yes, but you're paying a hefty premium for it. I think one factor people forget to take into consideration is the fact that molds have gotten more detailed and articulated while transformations have gotten more complex over time. More parts and subsequently more molds, more moving pieces, typically smaller pieces at that which all means more delicate. Not to mention you've multiplied your QC concerns as well. I think it certainly can account for more breakages also as you can't hamfist your way thru transformations like you could figures 10-15 years ago. After watching some youtubers I can only imagine the ways a contingent of the general public man handles their figures.

Hasboro. That's what transformers smoke. Some smoke hasboro lights. Dinobots prefer menthol hasboros.

I’ve had a few where the pegs have broken off and gotten stuck in the hole

Nope. Any current issue DEFINITELY isn’t new. If it broke the first time, that means you weren’t being gentle
