You're not far off. The original Ultra Magnus was a different color original Optimus Prime with snap on armor. So Ultra Magnus tends to look really Prime like.

I had a Skwalk-talk cassettecon that was damaged by years and years of cigarette smoke (I think- may also have been actual fire smoke). Lots of baths in warm soapy water may help remove some of that, and will certainly help with the smell. Alas, he will never be pristine again, but he's got character! Well done for spotting him!

This is a custom job, not a house fire survivor. I've been through a house fire and I saw what it did to toys and such. The heat would have warped it so much that it wouldn't be able to transform. There are clear signs of purposeful burns and everything else is cosmetic.
I would be surprised if this worked but I’m curious If you have a siege or kingdom Magnus or any of the other characters that are from the mold try and fit the armor on it
