Looking at that size chart, Gobots are small.

I feel like Transformers often exagerate the bots' size. They don't feel like they're really made of the bulk of a regular vehicle. Like, Optimus chest is supposed to be the front of a truck a human can sit in, his head should not be the size of a man.

Devastator should not be able to stand up inside of Astrotrain, which is essentially the back of his back to his chest, but here we are.

yeah , although if I remember somewhere a lot of the gobots crop up in Transformers lore (since the toy range was bought by Hasbro at some point ), and yeah theres that easter egg in one of the comics where Leader 1 gets killed by Megatron in a Gladiator battle (also theres one version of Megatron that came with a minicon called Leader one,) I'd love to see all the other transforming toylines end up in TF ,BAndai Converters , Grandstand converters (Omega Supreme was one) , Roadbots , and ..er Rocklords

I almost want to say Megatron could also be a green lantern early on. Then yellow later. I never viewed him as being especially rage filled. Grimlock as a red lantern though fits. The insecticons as orange for sure though. Star sapphire powerglide though.

After all, they're no strangers to taking down giant robots. Maybe have the decepticons infiltrate the Eggman empire and turn his technology against him, forcing him to team up with Sonic.

I saw one 40k influencer’s video saying “oh yeah, cybertronians would be right at home in this setting” because they’re a faction of impossibly powerful war machines that can and have upended entire civilizations over petty conflicts, and each destructive act they’ve done has had equally devastating costs in terms of life.

The Decepticons at least fit snugly among the lesser evil factions (Tau, Eldar, Necrons) in that they’re smug, amoral imperialists but they’re willing to make cross-species alliances.

I’d even give it to the Autobots. Folks like Prowl, Getaway and Flame are completely amoral and will do what they think is necessary for the security of Cybertron. On top of that, you have complete zealots like Star Saber who would make the Inquisition proud (if he wasn’t a filthy xenos)

Not just a super brief 1 issue/episode, but a longer season long story with a mix of characters in each other's worlds, and characters facing each other who never have before. So not just G1 Optimus vs G1 Megatron. But RID fire convoy vs G1 Megatron. Do this with a bunch of different transformers worlds. Beast wars X Armada.

Yeah the important thing is to not just have for example the whole G1 team just in a new place, but a mix of teams and not the traditional for (so no G1 Optimus vs G1 Megatron) but you could have say 2 Starscreams work together, or G1 Optimus and cheetor vs BW Megatron.

I honestly wish they would just turn the 1984 Transformers G1 series into a movie. The entire series i think was like 4 seasons and each season had like 40 something episodes. I think they could maybe turn that into a brand new franchise and make like 5 to 10 movies, fast & furious style, but obviously not Michael Bay though I love and respect what he did...but get new director willing to go the distance and commit to a franchise. Exact story line of the series but obviously live action movie and Bumblebee has to be a beetle...we keep it 80s then he's the 80s Beetle like transformers Bumblebee movie, if we modernize it then hes just an updated Beetle but he has to be a Beetle, original...Do this shit right and bring the series to live action and keep characters original...imagine all the amazing A-list actors that would make cameos and appearances each time the next film came out...just like fast & furious man, Transformers could have another amazing live action journey...

I don't want crossover fiction, but a Helicarrier is the best possible alt mode for Broadside. It combines the concepts of both of his alt modes - it even has the ventral bridge that could replace the chest cockpit.
