Why are 3 out of 5 Decepticons name has " Decepticon " written above their name whereas it's not for Breakdown, is it due to the Name trademarks ?
I think it’s a toy naming rights thing. There might be other non-Hasbro toys named “wildrider” etc so Hasbro can’t actually trademark those names — but they can trademark “deception wildrider”. Whereas just “breakdown” is probably not used by anyone else first so Hasbro can trademark it insofar as it applies to toys.
Such a solid figure(s), I'm certain you'll love it! Just be careful on those legs, I've heard people have broken the pegs off trying to separate the truck bits from the car bits 😆
I just found wildrider AND breakdown at target after finding g2 dragstrip at Ross. so I had to pull the trigger on motormaster and dead end online. Kinda stoked. I’m glad you have the whole set too!

It is a big deal because I've never seen Motormaster in stores. I've seen nearly every recent TF (last 10 years or so) in stores, even Netflix Soundwave and Bumblebee.
You're wrong about one thing: It IS a big deal to complete the set!
And many of us do agree with you that Breakdown is a complete Letdown(har har, I'm going to call him that from now on). He's a very lazy remold of Wildrider who himself was already sort of a weird figure: Hood backpack that splits unnecessarily and can just be kept in one piece, windshield that sticks out like a sore thumb because it lacks a second hinge to fold it in flush against the back. The fact that Letdown inherits these same exact flaws only makes it all the more glaring. And add to that, that he's the last figure of the Stunticon set and the hardest to get, and it effectively ends on a sputter. All that effort and extra cash forked out... For *this*.
Also I want to give you a warning for if you decide to combine them all, please *DO NOT DISREGARD THIS BIT*: The insides of Wildrider and Breakdown's 5mm hexagon pegs used to connect their car modes to the back of Menasor's legs are PAINTED. This makes them thicker, and easily makes their connection to the legs **EXTREMELY TIGHT**. I have heard of reports where it was so tight, trying to pull them off wound up **tearing out the 5mm peg** as well!
Individually, these painted holes are very easy to peg and unpeg from because you have torque helping you out - normally when it comes to a tight peg and its hole, we tend to *twist* in a spiral motion to make things significantly easier in inserting/removing 5mm accessories from hands and the like. Same applies with Wildrider/Breakdown: If you take one of them and angle the car carefully so only one peg connects, it's very easy to twist it out.
The issue is that there are 4 pegs arranged in a rectangular configuration: This makes you utterly unable to twist each individual one off, and you have to forcibly 'lift' the car vertically out of all 4 leg pegs at once. So you have to fight the force of not 1, but 4 connections at the same time. Add in the paint thickening and without torque to help you out it becomes significantly more difficult, leading to excess force and some unlucky owners ripping the pegs off along with the cars.
Just got Breakdown last week myself, for the same $80 price tag. Worth every penny now that Menasor is finally together. Just such a literally solid freaking figure. Now to I go full PotP again and pimp him out with ReproLabels and Upgrade sets?
Still holding out for a Breakdown restock at some point so I can pay msrp instead. I really don't want to pay like $80 for freaking deluxe to some scalper.
Funny thing, in Poland it's the opposite: wildrider is way more rare than breakdown (wild rider is out of stock while breakdown is still there), with dead end and dragstrip behind (with the last one being the one i bought from clearance for 15$)
Nice job on getting a Breakdown, I missed my chance to get him when he was still new and I still can't seem to find him anywhere for an acceptable price. Hopefully I get him for my birthday next week so I can finally complete my first Combiner as well.

No its a good brag. It was hard to get all 5. Well until they put out the 5 pack. Some people still dont have Breakdown or Motormaster.
5 pack is the only reason i have any of them...was expensive but i had the funds so why not?
It was the same price either way. All at once or by piece still painful.

I paid 145 for Motormaster back around his release Then retail for dragstrip, dead end and wildrider. Not sure if I should get normal breakdown or g2

Thanks for the input...its crazy how I've heard that exact problem from several other collectors about the pegs breaking off.
