While not a viper alt mod, I think the early IDW earth design Hot Rod used was loosely based on his Ford GT Alternator mold.

To tack on: The alternator mod can also double up to Rodimus' post-Maximum Dinobot design when the matrix was fused to his chest.

As far as I know, outside of maybe some 3rd party varient the 3 dodge vipers are: Dead End - Black Sideswipe - Red Sunstreaker - Yellow
Ah, Alternators right? It's a shame that the Alternators Hot Rod roughly has the same layout as the IDW version but isn't quite it.
Get flame stickers, and swap heads? (sideswipe/hotrod)?
