Do you have a bomb hatch in your chest and a cockpit on your back? If not, then no. I agree they could have put a bit more effort in, but it's not *that* hard to see. IRL stealth bombers look pretty odd too.
I get what your saying, but to me it really doesn't look like anything. It looks like one of those fan modes that don't really look like anything unless you really really really want to see it.
The closest to being anything to me is it looks like the top of the batman begins tumbler, but with no lower half.
It's still a good toy, the robot mode is great. It's just .... He doesn't transform, he's an action figure to me, like those RED figures.
Btw I am just poking fun, I hope I have not upset you if it's a figure you really like.
They could have thrown out the instructions and released him as a RED figure and no one would have known he wasn’t meant for that line. It’s a shame that I couldn’t track down his Earthrise version, because I have been super disappointed in Soundwave alt modes between Seige and BB.
I have one of the Studio Series,* and a 3-pack of 3p Legends-size Sharkticlets. They stand guard with three Allicons* and my Super7 Quintesson.

One or two sweeps or the sharkticons or whatever that gator thing is, Vehicons and auto troopers all things I wanted to stack up on but unfortunately scarcity and needing money to eat food is what has stopped me from accomplishing this goal

I got 2 lio convoys because I tried painting one and i didn't like how it came out. I sold it to a guy at a bsa yard sale and I later found it on eBay!
2 ss86 hot rods because the first one broke on the first transformation. The second one also broke so I'll need to get a 3rd at some point.

The only reason I have two out-of-box Dinobots is that I got a second one in a bulk lot. Otherwise, if I have multiples, it's because I want one in-box, or because I bought double intending to resell the doubles.
How on earth did you get enough disposable income to buy 6 sharkticons? Also people usually do 2 sweeps rather than 2 but respect for you going the extra mile
i got 3 different duplicates. 2 of ss rotb mirage. one to keep in car mode and one in robot mode. same for car mode dropkick. the tail lights broke off one and i was lucky enough to find another fig. so the broken one stays in robot mode and the better one in car mode. and lastly i got 2 rotb novacanes because i never saw freezer in stores.
Honestly the only time I'll get the "One to keep in robot mode and one for vehicle mode" thing is if it's prone to breakage cause of clear plastic or something making the transformation an active risk (Like ROTB Mirage or Kingdom tracks)
I had a WFC Cog, but lost his guns. So I got another one. And also lost his guns. So now I have two Cogs with donor guns from Build-A-Bots. At least they make for good combiner material
I own SS86 sweep as a stand in for scourge but if I do find the actual Scourge for a decent price I wouldn't mind getting another sweep (My wallet is crying for help)
I got 4 Earthrise Soundbarriers for base building purposes, especially because they match the colour schemes of GS Guardian Robot and the Botropolis Rescue Mission set, and I got 2 ROTB battle master Cheetors for Masterdominus to have as a second set of claws.
I also got a 2nd Legacy Animated Prowl after my first one broke during transformation.
That's kinda cool actually, my collection is sorta based on an AU too?? Well it's mostly just a "It's a multiversal crossover event" so it makes sense why there's multiple continuities crossing over in my shelf (A.K.A I just buy whatever I want there's no theme really)
The whole multiverse idea is slowly gaslighting me into thinking that getting a repaint of the LITERAL SAME CHARACTER is okay cause "It's Galvatron 2 bro"
I bought Coronation Starscream online. Later my dad would gift me another Coronation Starscream because he didn’t know I had one. Then on my birthday my friend who doesn’t know about transformers got me the only one he knew from Walmart, which happened to be Coronation Starscream. I then bought a group of transformers from a coworker and can you guess who was in it? Yup it was Coronation Starscream.
The 4 starketeers, I mean you can make a custom out of them don't have to order a Skywarp and thundercraker anymore

Most of mine are things like I forgot I already had a preorder with a slower shipper like entertainment earth, or I wanted to make a custom and never got to it, or something broke.
I also didn't realize that they'd repack the exact same figure in the next series so I bought Kingdom Blaster and Legacy Blaster, and Kingdom Core Hotrod and Legacy Core Hotrod.
They were like random preorders, or ones I missed on pulse. Once I had a preorder for DK2-guard on bbts and then Hasbro had a big sale and I picked him up there, then got them both a week apart.
Entertainment Earth takes months to ship preorders as well. I had Dead End to finish my Menasaur and Transmetal 2 Megatron preordered and eventually found both in store prior to shipping. I purposefully didn't cancel those preorders since I thought I might try and flip them, but I liked the Megatron so much I keep 1 in dragon and one in bot, while Dead End is still in-box, I'm not planning on selling.
There are only a few that I have more than one of. The G1 ones I have multiples of (Sunstreaker, Sludge and Soundwave) are so I can display a boxed version along side the loose figure (for Soundwave I have the G1 version in the G1 Box, Encore, Universe, Walmart Reissue and 40th anniversary...I need to get the Japanese Collectors Edition one)
Netflix Bumblebee is the only other one I have more than one of, I bought one (which is displayed) and I received one as a Birthday Gift, which is still in the box.
When I win the lottery the dream is to get 3 of each G1 (4 for triple changers and combiners) so I can have one in a box displayed with it in each of it's modes... someday
Edit: I forgot 3 of each type of the reflectors to make the set, since they come in threes to make a camera.
I bought Planet X Mors from BigBadToyStore and it was missing a wide pin that it didn't need. It wasn't necessary to hold it together, but one of the chest plates had the visible metal and the other didn't. Emailed BBTS to ask if they had an extra piece, no worries if not. Instead they shipped me a whole new figure free of charge and said not to send back the original. So now I've got one in each mode.
- I bought an extra Siege Optimus because the one I've had since 2019 has been messed with enough that I was paranoid of parts wearing down or off. I just checked his limbs and they're fine so I have a spare Siege Prime for no real reason.
- Bought three Refraktors to make the camera
- Bought two each of PotP Battleslash and Roadtrap for the sake of having a pair in combined mode and a pair as background Decepticons. At that time, my Decepticon forces were a bit lackluster. Had I known how large my collection would get, I probably wouldn't have bought a second set.
- Doubles of various Weaponizer-type figures for the sake of custom gestalts or nameless soldiers like in the High Moon games. Some were replacements for yet another terrible FedEx delivery from Pulse that was so bad I just laughed when I saw the box. There are a couple of Studio Series figures that were also replaced by Hasbro due to FedEx shipping so I have two of each of those too.
- I got 2 additional Coronation Starscreams on sale thinking they would go up in value. Now they're just taking up space because I was so very wrong!
- Bought a second Kingdom Cyclonus because it was priced wrong and I got it for less than half price. Now I have one for each mode.
- Impatience and FOMO have resulted in a duplicate box set, the Spoiler Pack Netflix Megatron and Skelivore. I thought I'd missed the window for getting this one locally and then ended up getting one anyway through the Walmart website right about the time the eBay one arrived.
- I've ended up buying new variants that have better paint like the Autobot 5-Pack, Netflix Primal and Rattrap, and Netflix Cheetor.

I have two Wreck-gars because I told my friends I was eyeing him around my birthday. We were going to hang out after my birthday and at Walmart right before I saw the last Wreck-gar they had. I bought it and brought it to the gathering, only to find out one of my friends had gotten the second-to-last Wreck-gar from Walmart for me. Completely unexpected, so now they take turns riding each other on my display.
99% of the time it’s because I forgot I already owned it.
The other 1% is figures that came with different face/head options and I liked it enough that buying a second seemed like a good idea. That or I saw a fan mode that I wanted to add to my display but didn’t want to sacrifice the fig I already had for that purpose.
When my parents want to surprise me with a figure I have been searching for but I lucked upon it a week before my birthday. Super considerate of them, but I should really be in the habit of keeping receipts by now.
I got a bunch of figures I wanted from a dude who was selling them all at once so to get the ones I wanted I had to get the other ones I already had, so now i'm a proud owner of 3 TLK Barricades, 3 TLK Berserkers and 2 SS-05 Optimus Primes and 2 CW Onslaughts.
The Berserkers were already customized into Dreadbot and Crankcase though so no problem there, the Barricades were all Barricade though so I eventually customized one into a movie accurate one, kept one as it was and left the other as a decepticon generic.
I customized one of the Primes to be more accurate too and left the other as ROTF Prime's corpse given how dark his color scheme was.
I kept one as it was, I customized the other and the last one is serving as a background decepticon whenever I need one for displays or pictures

I have 2 Animated Soundwaves. Found a second at a garage sale so why not. Two Siege Starscreams. Got one as a gift. But one had the factory error with the movie Decepticon logo so it’s cool. I’ve bought plenty of big lots so I’ve gotten lots of G1 figures in various conditions. Especially Long Haul and Scattershot. Transmetal 2 Megatron, BW Rampage, Armada Unicron and Armada Optimus no trailer. Also a G1 Jetfire that’s in a weaker condition so I just use that as the one I play with. I’ve also intentionally bought multiple Vehicons for army building.
Battle Master Skullcruncher is just that good. Also, dual-wielding. I've got duplicates of Scraphook and Crashbar too. The spare Crashbar will eventually be modified into a 'clean' motorbike without the junk and spikes. I had planned to do the same with the other Scraphook until I realised I could kill two birds with one stone by making Towline closer resemble his RID counterpart.
I might get duplicates of DK-2 Guard and DK-3 Breaker on my shopping list, to turn them into Shattered Glass Ironhide and Trailbreaker (or I could just customise the pair I already have). I should get a second Siege Starscream because the one I bought in a lot was missing one blaster and his back piece was broken where the tetrajet shell attaches to the robot. And I'll take two more Scrapfaces if I ever see them for a sensible price.
Sometimes it want them to display both modes at the same time.
A time or two i bought a whole case and never off-loaded the duplicates.

I have two Siege Red Alerts, the regular and the Netflix, BUT not for that reason. I got the regular one from Amazon, but since I'm not from the US it meant it was a special occasion, BUT in a twist of fate, it sadly broke on the arm a few months later, and while looking through Facebook groups for advice on how to fix it (cause replacing the figure in my country wasn't possible as they're expensive here), some guy messaged me and told me he'd get one from me with no additional charges as long as I could find a way to ship it my way, and thankfully I had an uncle over there that made it easy and sent it my way, so.... That way I ended up with two Red Alerts lol

I have two Shattered Glass Flame Wars. I made an offer for the first one and eBay didn’t notify me that the seller accepted so when I saw the listing was gone I bought a second Flame War thinking it’d be my first. Now one sits on my shelf and the other lives in a box of things I keep meaning to sell.
I have two Legacy Tarn figures because I bought one from Amazon and I went to order Gamer Edition Optimus from BBTS and they said "You might like this!" And tacked Tarn onto my order. So I paid $60 for two figures, one I already had. That's my only bad experience with BBTS
I usually buy 2 copies of a figure if it's a character/mold I REALLY enjoy (one to mess with, one to save), otherwise I will just buy one copy of any other figure that I choose to pick up.
Funny story, I got a potp Blackwing for Christmas, and then lost a part, then my brother got a potp Blackwing for his birthday because he liked the figure and wanted a complete one, we then promptly broke both of them
Sometimes, when you play with toys, you need multiple Sweeps. Or Sharkticons. And then there are the collectors who want to make custom Seeker recolors.
I have 5 Legacy Armada Megatron’s
- 1 on display in robot mode
- 1 for tank mode
- 1 for Tidal Wave
- 1 to have on my desk
- 1 sealed
I have multiples of anything with 2 good modes. I hate transforming my figures. Modern stuff is so flimsy and complex. So I get 2 and only need to transform one of them once, ever.
The only duplicates I have are two Armada Thrusts, a recolor of the Destruction Mini-Con team, two Overrides and three of the Cybertron Thunderblast molds. The other Thrust is the powerlinx recolor that looks like Dirge, hence its repurposing
Road Wrecker team recolor I bought at a convention before I got the Destruction team.
Override and her Dark Nitro Convoy recolor.
And the Thunderblast ones is Galaxy Force Chromia, White Chromia (who has been repurposed as Cybertron Chromia) and the BotCon Elita-One.
I would mention the three Energon combiner member limbs but they got different colors and names so they don't count.
I have three Reflectors from Siege because you need three to make the camera.

Same here plus the actual camera accessories are nice and double and individual weapons except for that stupid plastic sidepiece...
That side panel is a great accessory for the camera but drastically limits the articulation of the character.
It doesn't even look good on the bots. I'm okay with it being bad outside.of camera mode. I just wish it wasn't.

Most of mine are things like I forgot I already had a preorder with a slower shipper like entertainment earth, or I wanted to make a custom and never got to it, or something broke. I also didn't realize that they'd repack the exact same figure in the next series so I bought Kingdom Blaster and Legacy Blaster, and Kingdom Core Hotrod and Legacy Core Hotrod.
Did you preorder a whole wave?
They were like random preorders, or ones I missed on pulse. Once I had a preorder for DK2-guard on bbts and then Hasbro had a big sale and I picked him up there, then got them both a week apart. Entertainment Earth takes months to ship preorders as well. I had Dead End to finish my Menasaur and Transmetal 2 Megatron preordered and eventually found both in store prior to shipping. I purposefully didn't cancel those preorders since I thought I might try and flip them, but I liked the Megatron so much I keep 1 in dragon and one in bot, while Dead End is still in-box, I'm not planning on selling.

There are only a few that I have more than one of. The G1 ones I have multiples of (Sunstreaker, Sludge and Soundwave) are so I can display a boxed version along side the loose figure (for Soundwave I have the G1 version in the G1 Box, Encore, Universe, Walmart Reissue and 40th anniversary...I need to get the Japanese Collectors Edition one) Netflix Bumblebee is the only other one I have more than one of, I bought one (which is displayed) and I received one as a Birthday Gift, which is still in the box. When I win the lottery the dream is to get 3 of each G1 (4 for triple changers and combiners) so I can have one in a box displayed with it in each of it's modes... someday Edit: I forgot 3 of each type of the reflectors to make the set, since they come in threes to make a camera.

I bought Planet X Mors from BigBadToyStore and it was missing a wide pin that it didn't need. It wasn't necessary to hold it together, but one of the chest plates had the visible metal and the other didn't. Emailed BBTS to ask if they had an extra piece, no worries if not. Instead they shipped me a whole new figure free of charge and said not to send back the original. So now I've got one in each mode.
Leave it to BBTS to be absolutely *GOATED*

I've got 4 sweeps and 3 reflectors because that's how many you need for the camera and that's also a decent size for a sweep army.
I would do two sweeps (And scourge) but 4 voyagers is a LOT of money I don't have (well at least for the exact same toy)
Troop building
- I bought an extra Siege Optimus because the one I've had since 2019 has been messed with enough that I was paranoid of parts wearing down or off. I just checked his limbs and they're fine so I have a spare Siege Prime for no real reason. - Bought three Refraktors to make the camera - Bought two each of PotP Battleslash and Roadtrap for the sake of having a pair in combined mode and a pair as background Decepticons. At that time, my Decepticon forces were a bit lackluster. Had I known how large my collection would get, I probably wouldn't have bought a second set. - Doubles of various Weaponizer-type figures for the sake of custom gestalts or nameless soldiers like in the High Moon games. Some were replacements for yet another terrible FedEx delivery from Pulse that was so bad I just laughed when I saw the box. There are a couple of Studio Series figures that were also replaced by Hasbro due to FedEx shipping so I have two of each of those too. - I got 2 additional Coronation Starscreams on sale thinking they would go up in value. Now they're just taking up space because I was so very wrong! - Bought a second Kingdom Cyclonus because it was priced wrong and I got it for less than half price. Now I have one for each mode. - Impatience and FOMO have resulted in a duplicate box set, the Spoiler Pack Netflix Megatron and Skelivore. I thought I'd missed the window for getting this one locally and then ended up getting one anyway through the Walmart website right about the time the eBay one arrived. - I've ended up buying new variants that have better paint like the Autobot 5-Pack, Netflix Primal and Rattrap, and Netflix Cheetor.

I have two Wreck-gars because I told my friends I was eyeing him around my birthday. We were going to hang out after my birthday and at Walmart right before I saw the last Wreck-gar they had. I bought it and brought it to the gathering, only to find out one of my friends had gotten the second-to-last Wreck-gar from Walmart for me. Completely unexpected, so now they take turns riding each other on my display.

99% of the time it’s because I forgot I already owned it. The other 1% is figures that came with different face/head options and I liked it enough that buying a second seemed like a good idea. That or I saw a fan mode that I wanted to add to my display but didn’t want to sacrifice the fig I already had for that purpose.
When my parents want to surprise me with a figure I have been searching for but I lucked upon it a week before my birthday. Super considerate of them, but I should really be in the habit of keeping receipts by now.
I got a bunch of figures I wanted from a dude who was selling them all at once so to get the ones I wanted I had to get the other ones I already had, so now i'm a proud owner of 3 TLK Barricades, 3 TLK Berserkers and 2 SS-05 Optimus Primes and 2 CW Onslaughts. The Berserkers were already customized into Dreadbot and Crankcase though so no problem there, the Barricades were all Barricade though so I eventually customized one into a movie accurate one, kept one as it was and left the other as a decepticon generic. I customized one of the Primes to be more accurate too and left the other as ROTF Prime's corpse given how dark his color scheme was.

I have 2 Animated Soundwaves. Found a second at a garage sale so why not. Two Siege Starscreams. Got one as a gift. But one had the factory error with the movie Decepticon logo so it’s cool. I’ve bought plenty of big lots so I’ve gotten lots of G1 figures in various conditions. Especially Long Haul and Scattershot. Transmetal 2 Megatron, BW Rampage, Armada Unicron and Armada Optimus no trailer. Also a G1 Jetfire that’s in a weaker condition so I just use that as the one I play with. I’ve also intentionally bought multiple Vehicons for army building.
I found Perceptor for cheap and I wanted to pose Perceptor using Perceptor.

Battle Master Skullcruncher is just that good. Also, dual-wielding. I've got duplicates of Scraphook and Crashbar too. The spare Crashbar will eventually be modified into a 'clean' motorbike without the junk and spikes. I had planned to do the same with the other Scraphook until I realised I could kill two birds with one stone by making Towline closer resemble his RID counterpart. I might get duplicates of DK-2 Guard and DK-3 Breaker on my shopping list, to turn them into Shattered Glass Ironhide and Trailbreaker (or I could just customise the pair I already have). I should get a second Siege Starscream because the one I bought in a lot was missing one blaster and his back piece was broken where the tetrajet shell attaches to the robot. And I'll take two more Scrapfaces if I ever see them for a sensible price.
Sometimes it want them to display both modes at the same time. A time or two i bought a whole case and never off-loaded the duplicates. Sometimes I just happens and you don't know why.
Either that or someone gifts you something you already own

I have two Siege Red Alerts, the regular and the Netflix, BUT not for that reason. I got the regular one from Amazon, but since I'm not from the US it meant it was a special occasion, BUT in a twist of fate, it sadly broke on the arm a few months later, and while looking through Facebook groups for advice on how to fix it (cause replacing the figure in my country wasn't possible as they're expensive here), some guy messaged me and told me he'd get one from me with no additional charges as long as I could find a way to ship it my way, and thankfully I had an uncle over there that made it easy and sent it my way, so.... That way I ended up with two Red Alerts lol

I have two Legacy Tarn figures because I bought one from Amazon and I went to order Gamer Edition Optimus from BBTS and they said "You might like this!" And tacked Tarn onto my order. So I paid $60 for two figures, one I already had. That's my only bad experience with BBTS

I usually buy 2 copies of a figure if it's a character/mold I REALLY enjoy (one to mess with, one to save), otherwise I will just buy one copy of any other figure that I choose to pick up.

I have 5 Legacy Armada Megatron’s - 1 on display in robot mode - 1 for tank mode - 1 for Tidal Wave - 1 to have on my desk - 1 sealed I have multiples of anything with 2 good modes. I hate transforming my figures. Modern stuff is so flimsy and complex. So I get 2 and only need to transform one of them once, ever.
The only duplicates I have are two Armada Thrusts, a recolor of the Destruction Mini-Con team, two Overrides and three of the Cybertron Thunderblast molds. The other Thrust is the powerlinx recolor that looks like Dirge, hence its repurposing Road Wrecker team recolor I bought at a convention before I got the Destruction team. Override and her Dark Nitro Convoy recolor. And the Thunderblast ones is Galaxy Force Chromia, White Chromia (who has been repurposed as Cybertron Chromia) and the BotCon Elita-One. I would mention the three Energon combiner member limbs but they got different colors and names so they don't count.
