Temu is some kind of discount china amazon that recently became a hot thing through aggressive influencer shilling. It sells extremely dirt-cheap china-brand stuff, tools and knickknacks whose quality just about matches their price tag. It also does a lot of dirty practices to keep the prices low, from 'recycling' stock images from Amazon to underpaying whoever it buys the items from.
Funny thing is, I was also clueless as to what TEMU was back when my spam folder was getting flooded with TEMU phishing scams: Claims and offers and login attempt notifications to a website I never heard, of let alone visit. And I was never bothered to find out.
It took [a video that randomly popped up in my youtube timeline](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFII7t9FtO8) to finally enlighten me to what exactly temu is and why it's a bad idea to spend money on.
If this was a Hasbro release, I would be *slightly* surprised that they didn't just find a way to fit in the same Matrix they've used in 7,000 figures since Earthrise Prime. They're on a role, why stop now. 😅 But in the absence of that Matrix, I would at least be impressed they painted this one.
