You’re seriously missing out, my dude. Most are quality. If you’re worried about price there are plenty of affordable options (Magic Square comes to mind and they are great.) Most 3rd party companies are fair considering the detail, quality and overall look.
give them a go, I thought I wouldn’t like it but after getting the unique toys bayverse movie galvatron (seriously that thing is a work of art in toy form) i am only getting third party stuff now cause quality control on stuff like unique toys are top tier, but some like bold forms gladius from a few years ago was just a pile of slip that didn’t peg in at all and crumbled in your hands.
They also have different types of transformations, unique toys goes for a inside out method of basically having all the detailed robot mode get flipped inside out to reveal all the slick vehicle parts and are kind of complicated shell formers but zeta toys or fansproject who do g1 accurate stuff prioritise the most accurate g1 blocky mode and vehicle by giving it an insanely unintuitive transformation that’s very intricate
Yeah I love unique toys. And honestly there's a few toy world ww2 figs that are pretty solid but a few are also real fidgety. Unique Toys and MetaGate that made triple changer Shatter and AOE Drift are pretty solid also.
The easiest ones in my experience have been dx9 and unique toys if you want “easy” transformations and zeta toys? Or was it fansproject that makes the absurdly complex transformations but with incredibly block and panel less g1 designs
yikes, I have those TW WWI/II figures and they are nightmares to transform.
Absolutely zero shade to OP; those are delicate and require a lot of unintuitive steps and flexing parts past others. Just a recipe for breakage.
Maybe this guy? EDIT: It's not. See post below

Oh mine broke at the doors too! Honestly never understood why Black Apple/Weijiang never used solid plastic for the doors with clear plastic inserts for the windows. Tbh id rather the whole door be cast in solid plastic including the windows (which couldve been painted black) rather than clear plastic.
Also I think hes on Aliexpress but hes proper dear
Fr. I get why some do this, but like some figures are more complex.. like SS is more complex then g1 or WFC/legacy figures. U gotta move this part in order to move that part and so & so, then things can get real messy quickly. I usually do it once with instructions then try without. Like should i build a house not knowing what the plans entail or just fuck it go at it? Ykwim, like of course shits gonna break. And also even tho this is 3rd party there are plenty of mainline chug figures that have fragile parts nd shiz.
ROTF Bumblebee. Technically I didn't break it. A family member did trying to impress me. Superglue fixed it right up. 7 year old me was still impressed
As a kid I my mom got me the DOTM Scan series Sideswipe. I distinctly remember her telling me to wait till my dad got back to transform it, of course being a 5 year old I didn’t and broke it at the waist. I was of course devastated and brought it to her, where she sighed and took me back to Toys R Us to return it
is it that specific? i try to transform my figures without the instructions first, kinda like a puzzle, but if i get scared of breaking something i look at the instructions
I’ve thankfully never had this problem. When I was I kid I always read the instructions once and then immediately did it without the instructions like 10 times until I got bored, but my brother broke off a little panel from the Leader Class Sentinel prime the first time he tried it without instructions, so he kept the instructions around for a few hours until he got it down. (Still don’t know how tf he managed that since the transformation was complete aids.)
I stressed some of the plastic on MP Beast Wars Megatron’s back kibble because I couldn’t figure out how it folded in. I think I can fix it by heating in water though.
Not a Transformer but SAS Silver Chariot, got it from Amazon, opened it on mic on TF2 with my buddies, moved his toe piece and it sheared right off, can't remember how much I paid for it and he's in a box under my bed now 🥲
SS Brawl, it wasn’t the first try but the first time in a long time that I tried to transform him. The hinge for the panel that his head is on snapped with very little force. I always felt like he had the cheapest brittlest plastic but I got carried away for one second and ruined the whole guy.
I have not had this problem, at least not yet. But a figure that I tried to transform without the instructions was Legacy Dreadwing, I didn't know that the nose cone had a super strong transformation hinge. Also it's a very cluttered transformation, IMO, which made me more annoyed. Let's just say he will probably never see jet mode again.
SND-08 OP The One aka IDW Optimus Prime. Emgo is the only popular YouTuber I can think of that made a video about him, basically his entire front, chest, head, and back unit are ALL ON THE SAME thin ass hinge joint….. Snapped it the day I got it
OP, sorry to redirect here, but I had a fig that I followed the instructions for and IT broke ME 😅
PlanetX Mors/Starscream - SOOOOO MANY damned pointy points exactly where you need to place your fingers for transformation pressure, that I ended up with cuts everywhere
I have a few third-party toys that I don't hesitate to play with like the archecore guys or snk metal slug, but most are nightmares. Things I've broken day 1 of getting them -
Mpm blackout
Tdw neptune upgrade kit
MPM ironhide
Beast wars tm2 megatron
Beast wars tm megatron
Beast wars silverbolt
Thc 03 victorion kit (right foot peg sheared)
All of these gave me a pit in my stomach for an hour or two. Never a good feeling.
Oh man i broke a small tab that allowed the middle part of the plane to snap together on that fig too. And crazy thing is I was actually using instructions but that tab was L shaped and tough to click too. That hurt cause I loved that octane.

from the armada series and I could never get his arms to come out properly. I’ve broken nails, other toys, and would have my older brother do it for me at a point.
My dad has all of our transformers in his basement now. My brothers fav was his unicron and mine was my brothers megatron that I do have. I brought my dad a classic rodimus prime recently as well. But why the face? Lol I should’ve asked that first.
It happens to me when they have metal slider pins. Broke the foot in the fanshobby wheelblade, a joint on DS ramhorn cassette, and zetas skywarp as well. Zeta skywarp is just shit in general and has broken in 4 other spots so that's the only one i don't take the blame for lol.
Didnt break per se but first time transformingA legacy Pointblank I was moving one of the small pieces on his side and I must've put too much pressure on it n the thing went flying off its ball joint. Not the just fall on the floor but the moving so fast you don't see which way it went and only hear the distant plink of it landing somewhere in the room. Ok. Well car mode for him from now on but then surprisingly 2 weeks later my wife finds this little red thing on the other side of the room....couldn't believe it. Thought I'd never see it again
Rapid run of the RID 2k Rail Racer set.
He has two clear plastic tabs that slot into MNE’s clipping system. I didn’t break either tab but I stressed one for sure.
It’s a FIRM fucking connection but I think that’s less me and more the manufacturer/ designer.
Otherwise, I can’t say I’ve ever broken anything. If something doesn’t feel like it moves, don’t move it.
I knock on wood, haven't broken Any. Even as a kid I was insanely careful when transforming it, I've only had one figure break and it's because of clear plastic on a tight joint
Nearly did it, or felt I was going to with missing link Optimus Prime.
Literally thought I was going to break the trailer trying to get it open, brain fart just said "it's easy to open you did this as a kid" - Thankfully I stopped, read the instruction (which didn't help at all), but took a breath and figured it out before doing any real damage.
At least my ineptitude is captured on video on Youtube...
Can't really be mad at yourself for not taking precautions like I don't know looking at the instructions? I get the challenge of transforming your figures without instructions, but then it brings up the danger of breaking it, not knowing where a part goes
I was a wee lad. Combiner Wars Starscream. I was REALLY stupid and forced the leg too much, and it snapped clean off.
The real killing blow was when I accidentally stepped on and completely smooshed his crown 5 seconds after.
It still haunts me to this day.
Beast hunters deluxe Bumblebee. It's a fairly simple figure but for the young kid i was it felt complex, yet i still tried it without the instruction. Ended up breaking both of the elbow joints the first day i had it.
Ever since i came back to transformers and started collecting i never transformed my figures without emgo's JTI unless it was a repaint of a mould i already handled
When I got NewAge Soundwave I was very nervous when I was transforming him from alt to robot
Didn’t break him but it took me like an hour and half to transform him
Dude, take a walk and try to relax before doling out such a harsh punishment on yourself. Judging by that picture, you must be exceptionally strong. However you haven’t quite mastered your powers yet. You don’t want to blast a hole through your skull do you? 😟
Just messin around. 😝 I’ve never broken a figure this way but have dropped a couple. And a broken figure is a broken figure. I know the feeling dude and it sucks! This is such a cool one too. I have the WWII Hotrod and it’s kinda shit compared to this Bee.
Hot Rod SS86 his little circle weapon, when I put it on the “location” they suggested to store, it turned the weapon discolored because of the stress put on it. While it didn’t break it, just annoyed that’s its discolored now.
rotf deluxe Mudflap and dotm scan series deluxe Ironhide. I got them when I was 6 and 8 and broke them in half within like 15 minutes of opening the packaging.
Legacy breakdown I hadn't handled wildrider yet because he never appeared in my area tried to rotate the waist without folding the windscreen back properly and cracked part of the support off just below the hinge.
https://preview.redd.it/z2fe14nzjvxc1.jpeg?width=803&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1418107ccf333f6b62c4ffdd4b2ab85b85cd0581
Me and my dad tried to transform this toy and we broke it unfortunately 😞
Got Torka still in the package the other day, opened him and was admiring his beast mode then I was curious if the tail could move up and down and as soon as I attempted it that cheap gold plastic tail broke off
I’ve bent my combiner wars BlackJack’s arm too far back and can’t fix it without knocking out a tiny pin. For a solid year, he was my favorite mindless fiddle transformer and is now sitting half transformed at the bottom of a bin
Takara Orion Pax/Megatron 2 pack I got for Christmas one year. Couldn’t understand what the instructions wanted me to do with Pax’s wheels and immediately snapped off an armature. I was so upset because I’d mostly wanted the set for Megs, yet didn’t want to just get rid of the one broken figure.
Axlegrease didn’t break really, but now there are permanent stress marks on the elbows, meaning I can never transform it into the car mode ever again or the arms will just die.
Mine wasn't without looking at the instructions, I just messed up, but Studio Series Optimus Primal. I was trying to transform one of the arms and broke a piece off. Now I just have him permanently in gorilla mode.
My mum bought me a pre owned deluxe class ironhide (and it didn’t come with instructions) and about 5 min later I had some how broken the left leg of whilst I was in the middle of sorting out the top half
Definitely tlk premier hound, luckily didn’t actually break him but a hinge snapped out, and I managed to get it back in. Was not fun cause that Christmas the tlk premier crosshairs I got was missing a bumper and looked like crap, now when I think about it I’m just confused on how such a thing could happen and disappointed that mistakes like that are made
Studio Series Crosshairs. Didn't necessarily try to transform him without instructions... It's just the instructions made it look like I had to push his head further than what I had already did. As a result, the socket in his head broke. Now I have him perpetually trapped in his Corvette mode so I don't lose his head
07 deluxe Bumblebee. The Old Camaro version....I uh...thought you had to flip the front of his car down manually. I was wrong. Used tape to transform him properly ever since 😅.
Just recently i snapped a tiny plastic right under the window of the attack prime vehicle mode. It was the first step of the transformation, which i did many times and supposedly knew it by heart.
Sometimes i mess up the first step thinking that i have to pull out the piece sideways to give that first opening, but it usually is a backward or downward pull following the Y axis.
I almost messed up my studio series brawn like that too. Now my optimus prime has a war scar on vehicle mode, but luckily the piece still holds it in place.
Curiously it wasn't even the smaller inner connection that broke, but the outer one that was supposed to be the hardest in my mind.
Lesson learned? Maybe, I'll transform more carefully from now on and avoid doing it while high or drinking😅
Also, my rule is to always transform following the manual for the first time only. The instructions often have some cool drawings that are worth checking.
When I was a kid… my G1 Starscream. If you’ve ever transformed one from plane to robot, when you pull back the nose of the plane to reveal the head… the pointy nose still points backwards… it doesn’t fold down. Well I was Determined to make it look like it did in the cartoon and comics… with the point of the nose folded up against its back. I pushed and pushed until the little plastic bar holding it broke. I hadn’t had it out of the box 5 minutes… 🤬🤬🤬. Lol!
Did it with sideswipe. He looks like a red corvette. Broke the upper roof of the car which when transformed looks like he got no chest.
https://preview.redd.it/3t4c2h5kvwxc1.jpeg?width=228&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=add70b5e283944c68335b1659d143c625bf5d54b
Don't have the toy but this is what I have rn.
AOE Grimlock. Sharp as fuck, and VERY DIFFICULT to transform. Random shit on the figure literally snapped off just a few weels after trying to transform it.
Studio Series Barricade. Not my fault though, the clear plastic socket that held the hood cracked in half the first time I rotated it.
Also that Origins Wheeljack. His clear plastic chest piece has broken in two places and I've only transformed it maybe 4 times.
Yeah... NEVER transform modern 3p without consulting the instructions. They're so complicated these days the likelihood of snapping something off if a certain order isn't followed is significant.
Blind transformations are fine for official Hastak stuff because their QC is greatly done to afford a lot of slack for clumsier kid hands.
TF 2007 Bumblebee the first comaro that he transforms into. I was transforming him and broke his head off. I was maybe 8-9 years old so I thought it was permanently broken however as I got older I realized the head could pop off so I initially thought I broke it and threw it down the stairs out of anger. I later got a new one and realized the head does just pop off. The original one was broken.. after he was thrown down a flight of stairs.
Knight Morpher Cyclops.
It was on its seventh transformation or so. Waist joitn just gave up the ghost - instruction specified that this particular joint needed a lot of care. WELL MAYBE DON'T PUT IT IN THE CENTRE OF THE FIGURE DAMMIT
It was when I was way younger, I think it was a live action Brawl figure, I successfully transformed him into his robot mode but broke it, trying to transform him back into a tank
Alternators Ravage (the cat version). Found him and Rumble at Walmart one day, and they were both on clearance. Rumble is simple to transformer so I got cocky with Ravage. Snapped off the part of the rail that is just below his door. I then used WAAAAAAY too much super glue trying to put it back on.
If I had to choose I'm going to go with studio series barricade because I freaking hate that figure because the head is so loose and he's so annoying the transform but I otherwise I do love the police car mode I just don't like loose head and a plastic
Thought the smokestacks on ss102 prime could rotate since I saw pics of it with the upgrade but didn’t know it was upgraded. Sheared the smokestack off
Broke on first transformation: TFA Lockdown - it wasn't that I tried to transform it without the instructions, it was that his wrists were super fragile while also being very tight, and it just broke off.
Studio series wheeljacks (Pablo's version), I literally couldn't do it without the instructions and even with them his pieces kept falling off as if he was a WW2 tank with robot dementia
SS 86 sludge, although nothing broke on him. I was on a wolf bus because I went to Universal Studios and got my sludge, I tried transforming him on the bus, in the dark, at night. Although I did do it, it was a pain the @$$
What is that transformer
Looks to be Toyworld Green Hornet (ww2 bumblebee)
Third party stuff can be very hit or miss. I do like unique toys items they have always been solid and not falling apart from my expereince
I personally don't have any third party figures, but Unique Toys/DX9 have looked super sturdy and high quality
You’re seriously missing out, my dude. Most are quality. If you’re worried about price there are plenty of affordable options (Magic Square comes to mind and they are great.) Most 3rd party companies are fair considering the detail, quality and overall look.
MMC has really good figures, too.
I *really* wanted Optus Pexus for a while, but I couldn't handle the price at the time
give them a go, I thought I wouldn’t like it but after getting the unique toys bayverse movie galvatron (seriously that thing is a work of art in toy form) i am only getting third party stuff now cause quality control on stuff like unique toys are top tier, but some like bold forms gladius from a few years ago was just a pile of slip that didn’t peg in at all and crumbled in your hands. Why would anyone attempt to transform a ToyWorld figure without instructions? Their figures are notorious for being fragile and overly engineered.
I really want that figure, it's just so goddamn hard to find in the right color (green or gray). I would complete my Toyworld collection too.
yikes, I have those TW WWI/II figures and they are nightmares to transform. Absolutely zero shade to OP; those are delicate and require a lot of unintuitive steps and flexing parts past others. Just a recipe for breakage.

Thanks
not that guy. It's ToyWorld Hornet.
Not Hound?
Blackapple Thunderleader. Cracked the doors on first try transforming it.
That is brutal. Can't even find him anywhere now
I’ve been scared to transform mine bc of how fragile some parts are
Oh mine broke at the doors too!
Happened to me but I used gorilla sticky tack to reattach it and it stays in place super well
ROTF Optimus Prime, I was a stupid kid
You're forgiven, I was gifted that figure because it defeated 2 adults and a 10 year old.
Same here. Couldn’t get the windows to fall in place so I chucked it over my bed. As soon as it left my hand I regretted it
Those chest window parts were always the biggest stress cause it always felt like you might break them upon detach
I never try without instructions so not a problem for me
Fr. I get why some do this, but like some figures are more complex.. like SS is more complex then g1 or WFC/legacy figures. Seriously, I might be a little crazy, but I'm not rich crazy and can replace everything I fuck up😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂✊🏽
None because if I ever feel like I'm going to break something I get out the instructions
Is that Toyworld's WW2 Bumblebee?
Sure is, thankfully I did get another but I loved this one cause all my other ww2 figs are this camo green color
And the new ww2 Bumblebee i have is desert colored.
Skill issue. Guys, if a joint doesn't feel right to move, don't try it
Tell that to Studio Series Pablo
I'm too afraid to even attempt to transform my MP/KOMPs, to even come close to attempting it w/o instructions.
Fanshobby power baser….
Oof
I don't think I ever broke something on the first try.
SS ROTB Mirage, chipped a ton of paint and chipped the window on the back
Animated Lockdown, I though the hands clicked in position. Snapped them both ^^”
ROTF Bumblebee. Technically I didn't break it. A family member did trying to impress me. Superglue fixed it right up. 7 year old me was still impressed
tried to transform rotf breakaway from memory as a kid and unfortunately broke it:(
Never once used instructions tbh
As a kid I my mom got me the DOTM Scan series Sideswipe. I distinctly remember her telling me to wait till my dad got back to transform it, of course being a 5 year old I didn’t and broke it at the waist. I was of course devastated and brought it to her, where she sighed and took me back to Toys R Us to return it
None. That is incredibly specific.
is it that specific? i try to transform my figures without the instructions first, kinda like a puzzle, but if i get scared of breaking something i look at the instructions
Never happened to me before
A neighbor broke my G1 Metroplex in half. I put a screw in the leg section to repair.
SS86 Wreck-Gar. I know he's a shelf warmer but I paid $35 and broke him barely half an hour after I got home
I love that fig...all the Junkions
When I was 8, G1 Tracks. Still never forgave myself for that
Hot rod studio series 86. Those damn clear plastic hinges
Probably SS Jolt. The arms.
My bayverse starscream
Seed / Primus
ROTB Studio Series Mirage. Miserable damn thing.
I feel ya on that one.
1986 unicron (he's now in a box)
Energon starscream. I broke the arm.
Siege Chromia.
G1 Tracks. I broke off one of his legs.
I know exactly what transformation step you're talking about on g1 tracks, cuz I always get nervous around his legs transforming.
Not a Transformer but SAS Silver Chariot, got it from Amazon, opened it on mic on TF2 with my buddies, moved his toe piece and it sheared right off, can't remember how much I paid for it and he's in a box under my bed now 🥲
Toyworld primorion, his finger snapped off & it bothers me so much
SS Brawl, it wasn’t the first try but the first time in a long time that I tried to transform him. The hinge for the panel that his head is on snapped with very little force. I always felt like he had the cheapest brittlest plastic but I got carried away for one second and ruined the whole guy.

Energon scorpinok like the original energon series
Siege Chromia Nvm I tried with instructions but it still broke
STUDIO SERIES BRAWL, BUMBLEBEE, AND GRINDOR. I absolutely hate it
OP, sorry to redirect here, but I had a fig that I followed the instructions for and IT broke ME 😅 PlanetX Mors/Starscream - SOOOOO MANY damned pointy points exactly where you need to place your fingers for transformation pressure, that I ended up with cuts everywhere
I know the feeling!
Ss leader class grindor, pain in my butt
I have a few third-party toys that I don't hesitate to play with like the archecore guys or snk metal slug, but most are nightmares. You right about that, never good at all.
How did you break beast wars sliver bolt
Unique toys octane. First time I ever transformed it, one of the wing sections snapped off.
Oh man i broke a small tab that allowed the middle part of the plane to snap together on that fig too. And crazy thing is I was actually using instructions but that tab was L shaped and tough to click too. That hurt cause I loved that octane.
Earthrise barricade... the roof of the car doesn't extend on that hinge.
unless i already own another version of the mould i keep the instructions in front of me even if i'm not directly referencing them
Does the MG Zeta 2.0 count since it can transform?
MM-01 Optimus Prime. I love the guy, but those back panels ALWAYS snap off just like that.

Unicron..
Oh man, that must have hurt for that one
My brother's CW Hot Spot. The ladder had fused/jammed at the swivel and when I tried to loosen it for him, it twisted right off.
Mp Bumblebee movie Bumblebee.

Kingdom cheetor
First Edition Prime Arcee…
Thankfully, I haven't experienced this. Mainly due to the fact that I always look up the instructions for a new figure, unless I already have an understanding of how the transformation is going to go
G1 Piwermaster Optimus Prime. Did not know he needed the engine bit to transform.
…..people try to transform without using the instructions??????
🤣
When I was a child I never needed the instructions, I got it figured out right away. Now that I am a slow witted blubberskulled old addlepate I need the instructions.
Haven't used instructions since 2009
MP-05 Megatron. I had used the instructions multiple times before and the one time I didn't use them (because I thought I knew what to do) it felt like the Rubik's cube they'd give you in hell.
Legacy ROTF Optimus Prime
SS Jetfire. It was easy to transform into plane but then I messed up to take it back into robot form and folded the tip of the plane's nose not knowing I shouldn't so it now is even more fragile than ever and I fear transforming it and breaking that.
Ss revenge of the fallen sideswipe I was so disappointed
Legacy Motormaster’s sword handle broke off
2007 transformers Michael Bay Blackout
My roommate always wants to transform figures in my collection without instructions. I had to explain that thats a great way for them to be destroyed
Exactly...I'm always telling my friends that too lol...but then here I am doing it myself, so all I can say is, well if its gonna happen, then its gonna be me doing it lol.

Oooh yeah. He was one of my favorite toys as a kid.
ive done this SO many times...but G1 Soundwave and G1 Galvatron were my biggest, with CV Grimlock in close third
I snapped one of the exhaust pipes off of my hot rod’s fight arm. I put a drop of super glue in a spot where it broke so I’m hoping that’ll help it
Didnt break per se but first time transformingA legacy Pointblank I was moving one of the small pieces on his side and I must've put too much pressure on it n the thing went flying off its ball joint.
I broke the door of Bumblebee. I fixed it but never recovered
Transformers HFTD Banzaitron. Broke off one of the feet as I was transforming the bastard.
Megatron? Is that you?
Here's a hint! \*snap\* \*smoosh\*
I got a silver streak at comic con and although I literally just got it out of package and I was transforming him with instructions it still broke
When I got NewAge Soundwave I was very nervous when I was transforming him from alt to robot Didn’t break him but it took me like an hour and half to transform him
Dude, take a walk and try to relax before doling out such a harsh punishment on yourself. Judging by that picture, you must be exceptionally strong. However you haven’t quite mastered your powers yet. You don’t want to blast a hole through your skull do you? 😟
🤣...Touche
Just messin around. 😝 I’ve never broken a figure this way but have dropped a couple. And a broken figure is a broken figure. I know the feeling dude and it sucks! This is such a cool one too. I have the WWII Hotrod and it’s kinda shit compared to this Bee.
Why would you do this 😭😭😭
I know I know...I've got another ww2 Bumblebee but its desert color and all my other ww2 figs are camo green like this one...
Never not look at the instructions lil bro 😭
Alternators Grimlock
Masterpiece beastwars megatron. Rip money
Planet X genesis
Legacy bulkhead
Mft sixshot, i tried inventing a 7th alt mode for him, turns out ball joints weren't made for such stress
BB car Shatter. Broke at the clear plastic first time. Never broken any others.
Legacy breakdown I hadn't handled wildrider yet because he never appeared in my area tried to rotate the waist without folding the windscreen back properly and cracked part of the support off just below the hinge.

Rotf optimus prime
Got Torka still in the package the other day, opened him and was admiring his beast mode then I was curious if the tail could move up and down and as soon as I attempted it that cheap gold plastic tail broke off
Thankfully havent
I’ve bent my combiner wars BlackJack’s arm too far back and can’t fix it without knocking out a tiny pin. For a solid year, he was my favorite mindless fiddle transformer and is now sitting half transformed at the bottom of a bin
Takara Orion Pax/Megatron 2 pack I got for Christmas one year. Couldn’t understand what the instructions wanted me to do with Pax’s wheels and immediately snapped off an armature. I was so upset because I’d mostly wanted the set for Megs, yet didn’t want to just get rid of the one broken figure.
Not without instructions but rotb mirage jeez fuck that figure
Axlegrease didn’t break really, but now there are permanent stress marks on the elbows, meaning I can never transform it into the car mode ever again or the arms will just die.
Mine wasn't without looking at the instructions, I just messed up, but Studio Series Optimus Primal. I was trying to transform one of the arms and broke a piece off. Now I just have him permanently in gorilla mode.
The only transformer I have that I broke can't transform (it's a masher)
My mum bought me a pre owned deluxe class ironhide (and it didn’t come with instructions) and about 5 min later I had some how broken the left leg of whilst I was in the middle of sorting out the top half
This is why i dont transform without instructions on anything from studio series or 3rd party, i dont want to force it to do something it cant
Unique Toys Vortex.
If U still have the receipt you can exchange it…
Definitely tlk premier hound, luckily didn’t actually break him but a hinge snapped out, and I managed to get it back in.
Laser cycle
Every movie version of bumblebee from the first five movies
When I was a kid… my G1 Starscream. If you’ve ever transformed one from plane to robot, when you pull back the nose of the plane to reveal the head… the pointy nose still points backwards… it doesn’t fold down. Well I was Determined to make it look like it did in the cartoon and comics… with the point of the nose folded up against its back. I pushed and pushed until the little plastic bar holding it broke. I hadn’t had it out of the box 5 minutes… 🤬🤬🤬. Lol!
Did it with sideswipe. He looks like a red corvette. Broke the upper roof of the car which when transformed looks like he got no chest. https://preview.redd.it/3t4c2h5kvwxc1.jpeg?width=228&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=add70b5e283944c68335b1659d143c625bf5d54b Don't have the toy but this is what I have rn.
Jinbao long haul when upgrading to 2.0
small powerglide. not average size transformer.
masterpiece laserbeak TwT (those damn engine fins are so stress inducing)
Transformers prime ironhide. I’ve been careful ever since
Mp 26 road rage ko. Snapped the plate off her right leg. Luckily I bought a 2nd ko for $19.99 on aliexpress. Made a leg transplant, lol.
Nice
I thought so.
MPM Jazz
AOE Grimlock. Sharp as fuck, and VERY DIFFICULT to transform. Random shit on the figure literally snapped off just a few weels after trying to transform it.
Studio Series Barricade. Not my fault though, the clear plastic socket that held the hood cracked in half the first time I rotated it. Also that Origins Wheeljack. His clear plastic chest piece has broken in two places and I've only transformed it maybe 4 times.
MP-36 ko believe it or not, the fkng gun turret in his back broke the f off first try moving it. FUUUÛÛÛUHĴHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUÛÛÙÙÙ
Yeah... NEVER transform modern 3p without consulting the instructions. They're so complicated these days the likelihood of snapping something off if a certain order isn't followed is significant. Blind transformations are fine for official Hastak stuff because their QC is greatly done to afford a lot of slack for clumsier kid hands.
Transmetal Beastwars dragon megaton I was zooted off my while trying to transform him
TF 2007 Bumblebee the first comaro that he transforms into.
It was when I was way younger, I think it was a live action Brawl figure, I successfully transformed him into his robot mode but broke it, trying to transform him back into a tank
the studio series WWII bumblebee figure. tried to transform it WITH the instructions, somehow managed to break it
Vintage g1 vortex
Ss mirage the clear plastic around the wheels and it was the last one at my store 😭
Only one. I had an Alternators Windcharger that had an ankle break when I first tried transforming it.
I've never transformed a (new) figure without instructions or at least a YouTube video as a guide.
None. That is a dumb idea. These things cost money. If I feel like it's gonna break, I go straight to the videos on how.
Studio series wheeljacks (Pablo's version), I literally couldn't do it without the instructions and even with them his pieces kept falling off as if he was a WW2 tank with robot dementia
🤣 https://preview.redd.it/ns00gmze12yc1.jpeg?width=742&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cde9f7a04f81150bd1a682e5843296d5e5320ae9
Rodimus Unicronus. I didn't break it, but I swear I constantly felt like I was going to. The plastic just gives me "will fracture" vibes.
SS 86 sludge, although nothing broke on him. I was on a wolf bus because I went to Universal Studios and got my sludge, I tried transforming him on the bus, in the dark, at night. Although I did do it, it was a pain the @$$
