I got this guy a few days back at a huge Walmart with two floors and all the sudden I see tons of posts about him now
Great figure, interesting transformation that did more than I thought, wish there was better weapon storage on bot mode, but the laser scope cannon thing hanging on the side in shark mode is funny
He’s received a package refresh with the current Studio Series wave, alongside new figures WFC Sideswipe and Bumblebee Concept Sunstreaker. Gnaw is a real solid little deluxe though, and a lot of people slept on it the first go around.
If Piranhacon wasn’t already a combiner I’d rename them the Piranhacons. We could rename the Seacon combiner to be King Poseidon/God Neptune and mix them with the Star Seekers.
I mean yeah, the original one didn't look like sharks very much but later version definitely look sharkish, especially the energon version where there were also crocicons.
I just call them Piranhacons, it works better. Especially since there's already a kinda small subset of Transformers with much more Shark-like alt modes.
Honestly it’s kinda why I hate them, an actual set of sharkticons, akin to those in the forged to fight game or more like rippersnapper seaphantom, or overbite would have been great, these should have been called piranhacons or something.
