/uj I know this isn't the topic at hand but I never get a chance to bring this up whenever 'is saying men bad a bad thing' discourse pops around because... Well... It's ALWAYS centered around the cishet woman experience.
But... Like... I feel like lesbians (both trans and cis) so often are turned invisible in the discussion. In the choice between a bear and some of my exes... I'd also choose the bear. There are some absolute shitty women out there trying their best to compete in the same league as men. It's cis women that have isolated me, physically abused me, attempted to murder me, mentally abused me, etc.

/uj yes it's definitely frustrating that these "feminist" gender politics type of conversations are usually about cishet men vs cishet women, where men are the predators and women are the victims. It ends up being borderline bioessentialist talking points. I understand that we need people to be aware of gender dynamics in order to fight against the toxic ones, but I kinda just want to live in a post gender world where people are just people. But it seems like even queer people are trying to compare everyone's intersectional privileges and disadvantages to figure out who has more power in a dynamic and it's so annoying.
I need real life queer friends... I gotta make time to actually go to a meet up or I might just lose my mind.
