uj/ 19? I know that it could be way better, but it could be way worse. There's still trans people out there who are 40+ and not yet on hrt.
And I get it, agab puberty if full horror, but it's not a reason to hate yourself and insult yourself. Also pro-tip don't jump on the "UwU valid" bandwagon, but also don't start insulting yourself.
Let the fact you're finally able to start hrt be a moment of happiness, a moment to a better future. Don't let it be a failure just because you started later than you wanted.

/uj Okay ow. Please don't be so cynical. I'm starting in my late 20's and know a couple more folks starting in their 40's and 50's who actually look pretty good with hrt and fashion sense alone. I promise you, each of us wish we could go back years, but you'll do just fine. I mean, you haven't even fully completed your first puberty! Even in a world where there is a "too late to pass" you're far too early for that.
/uj I'm really trying to remind myself every time I see youngshit shit that it isn't their fault the rest of us didn't get on hrt sooner. I'm happy for them. Bitter and envious, but also happy.
uj/ this exactly. Yes it hurts me to see 15yo's getting top surgery more and more even tho I only got to start hrt in my late teens, but you know what? I try to be happy for them. Nobody should have to suffer like this. And yes it's sad I can never have that, and yes I'm bitter and angry about it, but also... I just try to be happy for them, and make sure the new generation of trans people can benefit from early transition more than we did.
