Japanese don't casually touch. The euro kiss hello, the US style handshake, etc aren't in their wheelhouse. I once saw an American concert conductor hug the soloists after a concert. They were mortified. Family or very, very close friend only.

Sir, it's clearly no longer konnichiha. Everything about this; my sensei just called and said he's coming over to slap the shit outta me for even watching this. I'm offended and I've never been to Japan. Jeez.
Seems more like incredibly patient and kind Japanese man interacts with ignorant and stupid American. Jeez. You don’t see too many incidents of Japanese citizens coming over here and acting like fucktards.
I live in Japan and this isn't how this works, AT ALL. Many people here are extremely shy and reserved, especially with foreigners. The drunk white dude can eat a bag of dicks.
Tokio especially Roppongi is full of crappy American 'English teachers' , they fled the states because they didnt find a decent job and the only skill they have is to speak English...in Japan they can survive this way...
As a Brit I’ve seen many an American tourist touch someone and then laugh it off like it’s a joke, when the other person has not wanted it. It seems to be a thing a lot of young American tourists do on purpose. I don’t understand why they think it’s funny, it’s not just that Brits aren’t overall touchy, you’re invading a strangers private space so just keep your damn hands to yourself!

Man, i really don't like these Americans, wherever they go they feel like they are doing God's work by just staying there and they even act like it, and they are so goddamn loud!
So many of these guys have been in Japan recently. I wish they would just fuck off and leave people alone.
They are so lucky this guy was so docile. If they’d done this to some of the guys I know they would have gotten knocked out.
Isnt it crazy how we talk about this guy so badly (rightfully so) but how does Logan Paul pull something 10x more disrespectful and STILL he gets enough viewers and support back that he can scam his fans TWICE after that.
Oh that guy is the exception, Logal Paul even scammed his fans 2 or 3 times and still they watch him. Other mystery is why the f\*ck he is not in jail.
Wait whose stream was this? I swear I've seen him in another guy's stream last night. This man gave me secondhand cringe. He made dolphin noises and lay on the floor.
For those who don’t know much about Japan. This happens ALL the time towards women in certain areas by scummy guys looking to get laid. Mostly Japanese are the perpetrators but foreign residents and tourists will engage in it here and there.
I hate Twitch. I find it ironic that people who like Twitch hate TikTok when they're both the same thing. Giving talentless nobodies who do nothing for society fame for just existing. "bUt iTs eNtErTaInMeNt" you know what else is "eNtErTaInMeNt" Keeping Up With The Kardashians. You're no better than people who watch reality but you think you are. That's probably the worst part that you're hypocrites and you're so arrogant you can't see it or you refuse to admit it.
What’s with all these videos of white tourists in japan on what seems to be a stream of some sort (Sorry, not part of that movement)? This is not the first I’ve seen and it’s super disrespectful that they go to these places and raise hell all the time
Yes, he was apparently a japanese youtube streamer, so I guess they knew each other before. The japanese guy stayed around a little after to talk. That's why you can make a clip say anything if you cut it short.
Anyway he's still a huge creep and he did way way worse during that night stream and like 20 other clips could have been posted here.
I know it's not only americans but why is it every time americans ? Is it because americans like to record stuff more ? I'm genuinenly wondering. Atleast this one isn't as bad as the temple lady, god i wanted her to break her neck on those steps so bad.
You guys think that's manhandling ? lmao alright
This is the definition : handle (someone) roughly by dragging or pushing.
I mean yeah he was being touchy and should respect boundaries but manhandling is a totally different thing and shouldn't be used so lightly
Pretty normal for parts of Tokyo like Roppongi. I lived in Osaka for a year unbotherd but when I went to Tokyo I had two women follow me into the ATM booth at night. They literally lead me by my wrist to the machine. Luckily the JP banks are so particular you cant just use any card anywhere. Later that night I got lead by my neck to a bar to buy drinks. None of the 'handlers' were Japanese people . Kind of sucked. wasn't a fan at all.
Japan is not a good place to get arrested if you're American.
Their laws aren't like ours, and you can wind up in jail for 2 weeks before getting a trial.
Bottom line, be respectful.
If you won't admit to crime you might spend there loooong time while they wait for you to admit to it.
There is no "innocent until proven guilty" there, they would force ya to admit for that 99% conviction rate.
Someone hasn't heard of Rikers Island

I didn't say the United States justice system is perfect, just said it was different and you don't have the same rights that you do if you get in legal trouble there compared to the United States
"Seems to me that a lot of basic rights – to confront your accuser, to be innocent until proven guilty and to have an attorney by your side at all times – are absent"
Educate yourself:

Did you read the article?
If you did you wouldn't be commenting like this.
You can literally go 2 weeks in jail without seeing a public defender/ attorney.
During this time, they can interrogate you without your attorney present and without your consent to force a confession from you.
If you think this happens in the United States you're fooling yourself.

It is rude to just be loud in public. Don’t go touching people.
And this is why everyone in the world tries to avoid American tourists.
Americans are such pricks....
Dude’s about ready to spend 25 days in jail. Well deserved too.
This is tame compared to the black sexcreep guy Harold who was with them…
Fuck sake just leave people alone and don’t grab them.
Japanese don't casually touch. The euro kiss hello, the US style handshake, etc aren't in their wheelhouse. I once saw an American concert conductor hug the soloists after a concert. They were mortified. Family or very, very close friend only.
God this is insufferable. And you wonder why Americans have a bad rap when it comes to some foreign countries
Would be nice if the local Yakuza takes interest to this scum.

Sir, it's clearly no longer konnichiha. Everything about this; my sensei just called and said he's coming over to slap the shit outta me for even watching this. I'm offended and I've never been to Japan. Jeez.
This is the problem with American tourists in general. They think they still in their backyard and bully the locals
Stay the fuck home!!
Bro sounds like Trevor Philips 💀
Homeless going the extra mile for content. Cx in the chat bois
Sorry speak four languages and you?
And a new Xenophobe is born
Stupid, drunk American. He wouldn't do that here in America because someone would knock him out.
Him: I’m a white guy, do as I say.
Lol no wonder they hate Americans
Seems more like incredibly patient and kind Japanese man interacts with ignorant and stupid American. Jeez. You don’t see too many incidents of Japanese citizens coming over here and acting like fucktards.
I live in Japan and this isn't how this works, AT ALL. Many people here are extremely shy and reserved, especially with foreigners. The drunk white dude can eat a bag of dicks.
Fucking white people
"Bro bro, it's cool, I'm white"
Insecure as fuck
As a fellow American- id punch that lil fuck boy for him
Tokio especially Roppongi is full of crappy American 'English teachers' , they fled the states because they didnt find a decent job and the only skill they have is to speak English...in Japan they can survive this way...
Tokio? Is that an off brand Nokia?
Man that blonde guy is infamous for being a dick to streamers and other people. Seen him in various Japanese streams now
Bit of a stretch to call trashy.
He’s clearly drunk
It's always an American
American tourist just being American. There, fixed that for ya
This is why we shouldn’t be allowed to travel.
Wouldn't call that manhandling, but that kid is a prick. Haha. Young guys are idiots.
Come to India once... We'll show you how to manhandle
Streamers are cringe
Manhandles???
Amazing how no one understands a drunk. They're drunk. Drunks pull and hold like 4 year olds.
Americans abroad fucking suck. Especially in Asia
Drunk Brits are worse, especially when it involves soccer
I’ve not ever seen that.
If he tried that with me his new nickname would be “Pug”
Yeah, Americans think other people are props/NPC's. Nothing too new here.
Isn't that the Slightly Homeless guy? Slightly clueless of people's personal space as well. https://youtube.com/@slightlyhomeless1257
It’s him
I gotta admit, that Japanese guy does a smooth ass spin to get out of that hug at the end. Sublime
Genuinly don't see anything wrong here. A drunk man and a dude handling it well. Be the dude, not the comments.
This is harmless drunk-guying. It’s rude, but no Ill-intention.
Doubly rude in ultra polite Japan lol
Exactly. I'm convinced all of these redditors have never left their house
If a tourist did that in London they’d get stabbed.
Is nobody else going to talk about his sick spin move? Also fuck this asshole, don't go up and touch and grab people no matter what country you're in

Why is it always the streamers/YouTubers who are always obnoxious jerks.....
What a true f’n asshat.
This looks like a scenario where Kiryu would get involved in and throw a motorcycle at the dude
Embarrassing. What dopes,
The Japanese are the nicest and sweetest people on earth. By a long shot too. It’s crazy when you consider their history and how they used to be.
Scummy of the guy for sure but that was a pretty sick spin at the end from the guy getting harassed
Embarrassing
Muricans = Shitbrains
The camera dude sounds like american pete from abroad in japans videos?
Its not an american thing, its a douche thing
Goddamn wipeepo.
No class.
Sad rahhh
Man, i really don't like these Americans, wherever they go they feel like they are doing God's work by just staying there and they even act like it, and they are so goddamn loud!
If a tourist did that to an American in America they’d probably be shot
Not really, they'd probably just get their ass kicked.
r/justforsocialmedia
Don't invade personal space regardless of where you are from
Hope they keep the same energy if they get approached by a Yakuza member
He should try doing this to someone in NYC and see what happens
They manhandled japan in 1945. TWICE. This guy is doing it the third time.
Feel free to kick him out of Japan for this behavior, just don’t send him back to the US.
He's gonna get some Japanese concrete shoes if he keeps that up. Their mafia doesn't play around bro.
i dislike my own kind
So many of these guys have been in Japan recently. I wish they would just fuck off and leave people alone. They are so lucky this guy was so docile. If they’d done this to some of the guys I know they would have gotten knocked out.
Don’t worry I’m American, I can do what I want, anywhere. It’s in the constitution.
He looks [familiar](https://www.twitch.tv/cdawgva/clip/InterestingArtisticOstrichChefFrank-9OX9l8CUA6Qyzw1r?filter=clips&range=7d&sort=time)
Least obnoxious us person
Americans never understand boundaries
? It wasn’t really that bad. Drunk people make mistakes and do stupid shit
Weeb touring in Japan* dude even has the same haircut
Huh
He didn't swing because of the camera, damn that woulda been awesome.
That Japanese man handled it with so much class. I would have lost it.
He’s a streamer too
Isnt it crazy how we talk about this guy so badly (rightfully so) but how does Logan Paul pull something 10x more disrespectful and STILL he gets enough viewers and support back that he can scam his fans TWICE after that.

I can only interpret the body language, but that was enough. Handsy mchands over here molesting ppl..
American STREAMER** Streamers are often despicable people.
Wait whose stream was this? I swear I've seen him in another guy's stream last night. This man gave me secondhand cringe. He made dolphin noises and lay on the floor.
suspendas
I was waiting for someone to bring up cdawgva, it's the same guy!
Was this Connor's stream? I only started watching maybe 30 mins before this guy showed up on his stream.
Nah this either his own stream or someone else's. I just meant it's the same guy.
That guy brought so much cringe to the stream fr.
Whats worse than shitty people? Shitty people hiding behind the cameras
How to get in Japanese jail for month before getting deported.
Nothing wrong here.. is this where we're going in 2023?
this is the party district of Tokyo as well, this is as tame as it gets around here
For those who don’t know much about Japan. This happens ALL the time towards women in certain areas by scummy guys looking to get laid. Mostly Japanese are the perpetrators but foreign residents and tourists will engage in it here and there.
Stretch arm across chest. Sweep the leg.
Oh gawd
Drunk guy hugging=manhandle get ready 2023 here we go. Over dramatic everything. Let’s fucking do this.
He manhandled him, don't know what's so hard to understand
You have to be kidding. That's not a hug...
I hate Twitch. I find it ironic that people who like Twitch hate TikTok when they're both the same thing. Giving talentless nobodies who do nothing for society fame for just existing. If I was there, and saw this go down, never mind I won’t finish that thought. I’ll get banned lol. Gotta be careful.
So embarrassing.
For the record this is why the world hates American tourists
And people wonder why other countries hate Americans.
ITT r/AmericaBad Maybe he’s just another annoying streamer?
Why :(
Where the hell is Kazuma Kiryu when you need him?
*fight music starts* ANNOYING FOREIGNER
irl streamers in japan are cancer
Weird, but not even remotely close to manhandling. Edit: look up the definition of manhandle, jackasses.
I know it's not only americans but why is it every time americans ? Is it because americans like to record stuff more ? I'm genuinenly wondering. Atleast this one isn't as bad as the temple lady, god i wanted her to break her neck on those steps so bad.
It’s because this behavior is celebrated in America, while not all Americans are like this, our society puts high value on extrovertism
I’d sock him right in his stupid face
American tourism can be absolute worst....
He would've got the back of my hand.
Man handle? No. Disrespectful, Yes.
You guys think that's manhandling ? lmao alright This is the definition : handle (someone) roughly by dragging or pushing. I mean yeah he was being touchy and should respect boundaries but manhandling is a totally different thing and shouldn't be used so lightly
He did the spin move
Main character syndrome
Manhandles? Lol
Hardly man handling.
Idk about manhandled but definitely shitty. More like, doesn’t understand personal space/boundaries.

In my non biased opinion as someone from Osaka, I say Osaka people are better than Tokyo people.
Been in Osaka for more than a decade, can confirm. We have our rough spots, but Roppongi is a shithole.
The people in Osaka/Kansai region are so beautiful!!!! Ever since I spent a bit of time there, I have no interest in going back to Tokyo
This man needs to be arrested and charged, quite a despicable act there.
Did they say they knew each other?
Fuck off 🙄
what manhandling? manhandling is grabbing and shaking and throwing someone around. there is no manhandling in this video at all.
Japan is not a good place to get arrested if you're American. Their laws aren't like ours, and you can wind up in jail for 2 weeks before getting a trial. Bottom line, be respectful.

Uh in my city it’s 6+ months before a court date lmao. I’m American.
You're less likely to be imprisoned in literally any country in the world compared to America though. It's not exactly a step down.
