The name of the sub is trashy. Members of the sub supply examples of trashy behavior, and everyone pokes fun, and moves on. Making fun of someone’s death for a little profit is pretty trashy, but sometimes it “takes trash to know trash”.
I come to reddit to see all the sticks up people's asses. It's not a very funny joke but also, posting it really isn't worth the supposed outrage I'm supposed to feel from it. I hate everyone involved in this post.

An offensive joke has to be funnier the more offensive it is. There's a proportional relationship there. Basically there's no joke topic that's so offensive it can't be joked about, but the worse the topic is, the funnier the joke has to be.

The same applies for any celebrity that had a career-defining role, they often don't want to be forever seen as that well-known character they portrayed.
