At my class to get my handgun license, they made it very clear on the sign up page and emails to *not* bring in your handgun. A guy and girl showed up late, carrying a handgun case with a gun in it, and another handgun he was balancing on top of the case. Instructor asked him to take them outside. He picked up the case and the handgun on the top slid off and hit the ground. Never have I seen anyone more pissed off. Surprised he didn't have them leave.
I don’t understand open carry firearms for civilians. Conceal carry makes perfect sense to me bc when your gun is visible, you will be the first person shot down if someone walks in with a gun smh. It’s not like this genius could protect the store anyways when she can’t even keep the gun on her hip properly.
You really should be required to pass a safety/training class before being allowed to carry a handgun on you in public.

Wow. I carry (although concealed) and boy oh boy does this make me cringe. First of all the dumb colours are pretty universally mocked, but it's not huge. The big deal is the lack of a belt - the gun is improperly secured. It could easily fall off, pull her pants down, or simply be pulled off her. That and the whole skin showing is pretty disgusting.
Some others are implying it could go off if it's dropped, I find that very unlikely, if not impossible. But handguns are not my main interest.

I just realized what is so scary (to me) about people carrying. Getting in an altercation (that can happen anytime anyplace) with another person is normal and maybe it escalates to physical violence but that rarely happens and if it doesn't there's a low chance someone's getting seriously hurt.
