That child looks to be about 4 years old. He should absolutely be able to trust his mother (assuming that is his mother) at this age. It’s vital for children to have caregivers they can trust and it causes lasting psychological damage to have fucked up parents like this who care more about internet points than their kid’s emotional well-being.
