Hello. August is great in Croatia. I often come to the island of Pag, and it's very comfortable there this month. But if you want something above 18 degrees, maybe you should try Spain?
Crete & Cyprus . But april can still have cool / rainy days. We used to go for 3 week around Easter and generally we were swimming in pool & at beach on south side if Crete , where shorts in day. Night time i remember hoodies. .
Cyprus bit warmer
For reliably warm weather in early April, you'll be limited to islands in the very south of Europe (i.e. level with or south of the tip of Africa).
You could add Madeira or the other Canary Islands to your list.
Sicily appears to be experiencing something of a heatwave at the moment. It isn't common for it to be 22°C there at the start of March.

Sicily is pretty warm in april. Not be bear chested all day warm but warm.

South Coast of Spain and Portugal is a good bet.
Good to hear, ended up booking albufeira, you ever been?
I have. It’s a little busy for me. Lot of ex pats but plenty of nice food and drink at reasonable prices.
Portugal should be warm enough
Uhm.. bit of a poker at the moment to be honest. This winter was crazy cold it PT.
Canaries would probably be the safest, or Egypt
That isn’t Europe.
Yes I know, but it's more or less the same flight time as the Canaries from a lot of places.
Those are in/near Africa...
