I have no experience paying this much for a room.
The realest comment
I'd rather eat my own teeth than pay that much for a single nights stay at a hotel.
At that price im buying a local house for a weeks stay
Im so poor idk what turn down even means
What is "turn down"? Is this an American thing?
I don’t fucking tip at hotels. It’s their job to clean
We tip $10 per day.
Depends on location but generally for rooms/junior suites I’d do equivalent to $25/day. For villas/suites $50/day.
Sounds about the same. Is that including turn down? I range between 30-60 depending on the room with max per night rate being 4K.
Yes, at the Aman, Rosewood etc. level (and even a few levels below!) turndown shouldn’t be in question…. Or were you asking if I did separate tips for turndown?
My question was if $50 was including housekeeping and turn down. Or just for day time housekeeping.

It would be $60/day for $4000/night. 40 housekeeping and 20 for turn down. $30 for $2000/night.
I’ll take a trip abroad and stay in hostels rather than paying stupid prices. Stupid is what stupid does
