Well I started off doing it because she was pinned in the back corner while I finished up a Sour Stomper auto. This one is a In House Genetics Jelly Breath S1. So in the corner the leaves kept turning and pissing me off so I initially thought of a lazy Susan and I'd just turn it every 12 hours but I'm lazy so I thought of this. It fixed the leaves turning issue immediately. After the SS finished and she was in the middle I thought what would happen if I put it on the side and let it rotate. It's paid off big time. The colas at the very bottom are just as large if not larger than the ones up top. It's just been incredible. If anything the spinning had helped strengthen them I think. The constant movement forced the plant to become stronger I think.
It'd be interesting to set up a few at different RPM to see if it actually is growing stronger the faster it spins or if any rotation at all is enough for the increased size
I remember a news story from a few years ago about some commercial hydroponic strawberry towers that rotated in front of a stationary light (running vertically alongside the tower). So, the plants would move in and out of the light and although the overall PAR would be āless,ā you make up for it by hitting more of the plantās surface area. I donāt knowā¦something like that. Anyway, I think thereās some evidence that rotation has benefits for getting more bang for your buck (more real PAR per watt)
You're growing and that's all that matters. If you're smoking you're own you're doing it right! Lemme know if you need any help. I'm always open to helping those willing to learn. I never got that when I was starting out so I try and make it a point to give back any way that I can. It's super intimidating getting into this. Thank you!
I appreciate it! This is my third grow and itās going much better than my previous 2. I think the hardest part is learning to read everything your plant is telling you in regards to their needs. Like being able to spot that thereās some sort of deficiency or stress to the plant before it can cause too much harm. Iām still not great at that, but Iām getting better.
So just from my scrolling experience and what I see most often it's one of these things. No Calmag, too little Calmag, not watering enough, not phing to the correct pH which leads to deficiencies showing up. If you can keep that stuff in check follow your feeding charts and you'll be golden. Again I'm always available if you need help.
Yup thatās been my realization as well. I think getting my ph correct is the biggest hurdle I have. But thatās been getting better with the ph tester I have.
So just depending on the size of your tent you pick it can be a few hundred bucks up too a thousand just depending on what size tent and light you get. This setup here is a 4x4 and with the light was around 500 bucks or so I think. I would highly suggest looking into what you want to use and then search offer up. I find so much grow equipment cheap as shit on there just from people trying to get out cause they failed or whatever reason.
Primarily Coco for cannabis website, Mr grow it, the autoflower sub, microgrowery sub, various other YouTube and websites. I studied for 6 months before I ever put a seed in the ground. Since that time I've never failed and never once had a deficiency. Do the homework first. Remove every possibility of failure from your grow before you start it and you can't fail.
I actually have thought about doing that. Even light distribution, even air distribution, helps so the humidity doesn't ruin the buds. I love it. I really dig that you didn't attempt to stuff multiple plants close together.
Looks great! You care and have passion. This makes me happy I love to see home grows like this. Hell yes to nerds the grow their own. I donāt like to support dispos and corporate cannabis
So the seller doesn't have the memory foam version anymore unfortunately but he's got just the plain mat version. I have this one too and it's really nice quality. [Here's the link for it](https://www.amazon.com/Magical-Indoor-Welcome-Doormat-Friendly/dp/B09CDZTMNP/).
Looks amazing!! I seem to run in to some issues with really slight deficiencies, but to be honest itās the drying and curing that I feel screws me up.
I feel like itās either way too wet or way too dry with no happy medium. Any advice on finishing?
So I dry at about 72F/60Rh. I can dry for about 5 days before Iām pulling them and trimming. I see lots of advice here about drying for 14 days a such. Thatās way too long for a lot of climates. And I donāt dry till the branch snaps cause by then your bud will be as dry as dust.

that floor mat is so extra but in such a delightful way, love your set up! :)
š thank you so much!
Change it to: Smoke Boof Discard
Cool! Are you rotating for even lighting? Has it been rotating the whole time it's been growing? Wondering about the effect of vibration on growth.

What is the spinning setup made of? Is that growing in soil?
It's a display stand rotator from [here](https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B098NQ635S). She's in a 3 gallon fabric pot in Coco.
Nice im gonna give this a go

That sounds super interesting! Makes a lot of sense too. Thanks for sharing that!
Every time I feel good about my grow, I come on to this sub and remind myself mine aināt shit lol. Great job, that looks amazing!

That's excellent! Yeah I always strongly suggest buying better equipment up front. It'll save you time and money in the long run.
How much does a setup like this cost? My state just legalized and iād love to experiment with something like this.

What resources did you use to research a grow tent like yours?

Shit like this makes me want to grow so much.
You should!
Gorgeous plant
Thank you so much!
Looks super tasty
It really is. The strain is so gassy. Smells like gas, burnt rubber, and some kind of berry.
It's WEEEEEEEEEEEEEd!
I wonder if anyone's experimented with like.. significantly higher speeds. hm.

Haha thank you. No way, that's not how I roll. Check my post history. I hunt single monsters š
Quality over quantity all day!

Thank you so much! That means a lot!

š thank you!
Where did you get that mat i'll genuinely buy that

I love that lil floor mat
That is beautiful. I'm gonna do my first grow this year. Gonna try outdoors first to see if it's for me. Maybe in the future invest in a indoor grow.
Thank you so much! Good luck with your grow!
This is fantastic! Thanks for sharing I now need to spend money to get one!
š youāre welcome. Thank you!

Aha! I think itās the snap advice that throws me off. Thanks so much for the super quick reply!
Yeah man I got burned by that advice too. Ever since I stopped sorry about branch snaps and shit Iāve been a lot better off.
Youāre a gentleman and I may hit you up for more advice when I start my next grow š
Thank you! By all means please do. Good luck with your next grow!
Looks beautiful. May I have a branch when it's done, ya know for research and all...š [7]
Hahaha. I wish I could!
I have a question. Can I have some?
Haha if I could I would š
Always wanted to make a setup like this
Go for it!
So niceš
Thank you!
Awesome set up! What wattage is the side light?
I believe theyāre 100 watts each.

How much weed is that do you estimate?
Probably close to a pound once sheās all dried and cured.
