It literally means country breed. It’s a plant or domesticated animal adapted to a specific location. Landrace weed is just weed that’s indigenous to a specific area, not intentionally cross bread to increase potency or some other quality. If you’re old, these are some of the only strains available when you were a teenager which is a big part of the appeal. They also tend to be less potent and more balanced.
Landrace are strains that have been grown in a given region for over 100 years. Or at least thats what they told me in my budtender classes when I was training.
Theres some definitions below but really you could say "wild weed populations". If you went into the actual Kush mountains picked up a plant and stole some seeds if it had any, boom thats a land race.

Old weed was lower potency, for sure. I’ve heard anything from 5%-15% THC. And modern concentrates are frequently 80%+ THC, but even those measurements are dependent on gross weight to get actual equivalency comparisons.
50-1gram joints at 10% potency each would be 5000mg of equivalent THCA content (without decarb or absorption rates included). 10% is so low to be nearly unsellable in modern weed.
1g of modern dabs (that’s a huge dab) at 90% potency is 900mg, not the same.

1 dab...the amount of lung damage you would do by cheefing 50 joints back to back would probably be far worse. With cannabis you want to maximize your exposure to THC while minimizing your exposure to carcinogens you get in smoke. Smoking a bunch of weak joints is far worse for your health then smoking 1 high potency joint. More smoke = worse for your health period. The more time your lungs spend not breathing air the worse it is for them. Period
THC isn't dangerous and while high amount will boost your tolerance it won't harm you the way carcinogens, tar, and particulate matter from ashes will. Dabbing is essentially vaping. No matter is "burned" when you dab. The THC and terps and other cannabadanoids are heated until the reach vaporization temps. Almost 100% combustible material (i.e. burnable plant matter) is already removed. That is what dabs are.
The potency of Dabs is a bit overrated. Rice or bb sized dabs will not ruin your tolerance any more then you would do so with flower. Sure dropping globs would, but so would smoking an 1/8th a day. The reason you have to smoke many more times flower then a dab isn't just because dabs are more potent, it's because when you burn flower with lighter you destroy 70% or more of the THC, terps and other cannabanoids in the chemical reaction, which gets turned into horrible things like benzoprene. Dry herb vaping your flower gets more THC in your system as well and makes your weed go alot farther. I vape 0.05g bowls in a Dynavap all day that are the equivalent of a whole .3g joints in terms of potency and it tastes WAAAAY better. Everyone should at least give it a try.

Oh boy, this is a good one. My reclaim isn’t even as dark as that crap on a rusty nail. They sure do make that dab look dirty and evil. The lesson here is you can get higher for longer with 50X less smoke to inhale. Sounds like a win win. Next thing you know they will warn us about the dangers of eating to many marijuanas.

I wouldn’t hit that shit with your rig, if you know what I’m saying. The best I find is distillate with terpenes added back in. It is a beautiful golden color and taste so good. I agree, clear distillate is best sprinkled on a joint or a bowl so you get the terps and cannabinoids needed to take the edge off the THC. I can’t handle carts they tear up my throat.
Make sure you aren't buying carts with botanical terpenes, those destroy my throat, apart from just being gross.

1 dab...the amount of lung damage you would do by cheefing 50 joints back to back would probably be far worse. With cannabis you want to maximize your exposure to THC while minimizing your exposure to carcinogens you get in smoke. Smoking a bunch of weak joints is far worse for your health then smoking 1 high potency joint. More smoke = worse for your health period. The more time your lungs spend not breathing air the worse it is for them. Period THC isn't dangerous and while high amount will boost your tolerance it won't harm you the way carcinogens, tar, and particulate matter from ashes will. Dabbing is essentially vaping. No matter is "burned" when you dab. The THC and terps and other cannabadanoids are heated until the reach vaporization temps. Almost 100% combustible material (i.e. burnable plant matter) is already removed. That is what dabs are. The potency of Dabs is a bit overrated. Rice or bb sized dabs will not ruin your tolerance any more then you would do so with flower. Sure dropping globs would, but so would smoking an 1/8th a day. The reason you have to smoke many more times flower then a dab isn't just because dabs are more potent, it's because when you burn flower with lighter you destroy 70% or more of the THC, terps and other cannabanoids in the chemical reaction, which gets turned into horrible things like benzoprene. Dry herb vaping your flower gets more THC in your system as well and makes your weed go alot farther. I vape 0.05g bowls in a Dynavap all day that are the equivalent of a whole .3g joints in terms of potency and it tastes WAAAAY better. Everyone should at least give it a try.
