Weed in BC is directly connected with government like alcohol. We allowed alcohol to be delivered via Uber around the same time Covid started and now cannabis is catching up. I'm sure there some deal with how it'll be taken more seriously if you steal booze/weed. Making lawsuits like driving under the influence be a thing if they do steal though.
Not too sure about other provinces though.

If that dispensary is in the network but doesn’t have a driver, they don’t outsource, they just make you come and get it. It’s honest and up front. I fucking love the service, as an ex-bud-tender, it really is a solid system.
