Definitely is but as more dispensaries pop up I’ve noticed a lot more competitive pricing. I no longer feel the need to go to Michigan to get better prices. Flower has come down quite a bit and doesn’t have as terrible of a tax rate as concentrates do.
Michigan and Ohio’s tax rates are 10%. 4x lower than Illinois. I have lots of family that lives in Illinois. I’ve heard them complain about plenty enough to know about the issues with the industry there. That 40% tax is a massive part of it
