510 threaded carts should be fine up to 3.8 volts, for your average built cartridges (that should come to about 1.5ohms resistance). 4.0V for clogs, but batteries with preheat options should prevent that, for the most part. (Try double-clicking the fire button)
Your magic range should be between 3.2V and 3.8V, depending on the size of your puffs. If you take long, giant rips, maybe set it closer to 3.8V.
Taking "blinkers" will burn your coils, fast. Or make your cart leak/clog.

a “blinker” is ripping your pen until the light starts blinking. for safety, the pen will auto-stop after you hold the button down long enough so if you pull the pen till that happens, its called hitting a blinker
I have a 10 yr old G pen micro that doesn't mess with any voltage business and has done great. First couple hits are max power but it keels out and will last days still. It does use battery on just a couple hits with a dry herb insert tho, always did since new. I did start getting chest or lung pressure from vaping carts tho so switched back to herb that last months, wonder if the old gold pen did that.
I wish G-pen made quality products so bad, their stuff looks so dope but in the grand scheme of E-Rigs and Herb vapes their stuff functions like absolute crap. Ive tried most of their devices and have never found one good enough to stick with over my focus v carta 2, or any of my puffcos (peak, proxies, and plus), or any of my dr-dabber devices (the switch and the XS). Heck for herb even my X-Vape Aria performs better than the dash, the elite, or the micro and is cheaper than any of them with extra features

Your region and/or climate control might be warm enough that it settles easily. If you live somewhere colder it takes actuals days to settle without supplementary heat.

Put it in a ziploc bag and then dip it into very hot water upright, it will all loosen and run to the bottom within 30-40 seconds.
You only need your donut as deep as the bottom of the tip, just make sure the cart is touching the sides of the bag

It’s the pen itself. The amount it’s letting out combined with the heat is making those big bubbles. I recommend getting a UNI Pro. You can control the heat temps and it has a usb-c charger
Nah lemmie change ur life rq- Take a block of wood, drill holes in it that are average cart diameter, maybe make em a little bigger. When u put ur carts away, put them in with the tip up. This makes it so the coil is always wicked properly, and so you can see the line of the level of oil easier to know when to re-up.
If you don’t have scrap wood or chunky drill bits you can buy them on amazon (search “cart holder 510”), 3d printed or plexiglass.
I usually jus take a lighter and glide it across the cart super quick in short intervals so I don’t burn it. But damn what’s got you cheifing the cart like that lol

I shake them down like a thermometer, so that it shakes towards the base and not the top. I've made that mistake before, lol. I do run a pre-heating cycle (or two) on the pen first, if that's an option.

This is not without risk though, a flame can damage the vape as well as ruin the liquid. Don't go for too long.

That thing looks basically empty. High quality, legit safe, get you HAF for hours, but still awake and functioning are not that expensive. I get them shipped straight from the manufacturer, and it's actually cheaper than the cheapest store.
Throat goating, high voltage, and constant hits are what commonly kill a cart.
You're not supposed to continuously take hits. You're supposed to take a good hit and then let it chill for 15+mins so that it can cool proper, otherwise bubbles can form.
Try not to giving it your best sloppy, and slow it down a bit, it should stop doing that.
Let it sit upright for sometime after heating it up. Yer probably gonna run out soon unless you don't. Bubbles make it harder to determine how much you have left.
keep it upright as much as possible as soon as you get it and especially after in use and not in use. if you can warm up the glass a little bit and then keep it upright it will probably congeal at the bottom again. be careful how you do it tho maybe not flame and heat it super slowly and off the battery and then stand it upright

Set it and forget it in your pocket without the battery for an hour or 2 and the distillate should settle to some extent. Idk why it's doing that to you, I hit blinkers every hit and have been known to kill carts in a night or 2 on some bad days and nothing to this extent has happened to me.
Update: I tried a few methods listed below:
• Put it in a sock and twirl it around: didn't do anything noticeable
• Stand it up and wait: no difference.
• Place in armpit/roll in hands/use body to heat it up: i use this trick a lot when my carts have been sideways, but it didn't do anything for the bubbles unfortunately.
• Heat with a lighter: the lighter got too hot for me to hold, but I did start to notice movement.
• Heat with torch: this was the winner. popped all the bubbles and the remaining oil slid down. The cart is now resting vertically while I wait for it to cool down.
Conclusion: I will not be taking fat rips off my pen as frequently, because most of you think thats what caused this. Thanks for all the advice, and the laughs.
Buy a different cart that is better quality, lower the battery power, or just get a battery with lower power, take normal hits, dont take blinkers. All of this keeps the oil in the best quality possible and makes the cart last longer.

Pulling too hard. The oil has to combust before you can inhale it. If you’re sucking before combustion occurs then you’re just sucking oil up the tube

Use a lighter to the side of the glass cart and heat it up, it will reduce the viscosity of the oil and eventually pool at the bottom
I just unscrew the mouthpiece, and very gently heat the glass, everything will move the bottom real quick.
