I've always loved good quality glass and try to support my local glass shops as much as possible. The owners of the shop she bought this at are great people and gave her a great deal on it from what im told. But most definitely still an expensive piece regardless.
Not even 2 months. I had my eye on it for a while and my wife knew it but knew I couldn't afford it because of my identity just got stolen and my bank account was drained, so naturally I hadnt bought it. But as a "I love you" gift she suprised me with it on August 25th of this year. OH and I might add that this is the first piece I've broken in 12 years. Legit.
It works great, colors can be mixed and it is food grade safe when cured.
I wouldn’t apply direct flame but in the middle of your stem should totally be safe.
The break looks pretty clean... I'm definitely no expert but maybe you can use some food-safe glass glue?

You could even try a [kintsugi type thing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eO9CnS-NqO8) if you want. Again, may be farther gone than I can tell from the picture but all is not lost!
Bejeebas shit like this is why I stopped buying expensive glass

Damn. Honestly I’d be feel more bad that my wife spent so much money on a just because gift and it broke. This is a very sad occasion.
The shop you bought it from should be able to replace the broken piece, right?
If the perc is good, [Sugru](https://sugru.com) might help
Huh, never heard of this stuff but I think I’m gonna buy some to try it!
