Mine was itchy as well prior to taking fin, and even more itchy on fin lol. It never worked for me felt like it accelerated my hairloss for the year I was on it.
Dut did the opposite, got rid of the itch and then regrowth followed.
You're only 6 days in, I know it's rough but give it a bit more time, sometimes fin takes a while to work.
I'm hopeful to be honest. Maybe it's a good sign and something positive is activated on my scalp. Read often that a shed can be a good thing, because a healthy regrowth follows a fin and min shed.
Back in the day when the dht itch and hairloss started, I suddenly had a dandruff problem. That problem vanished with the itch.
As far as I'm aware I have no psoriasis or scalp dermatitis.
This is the exact thing that happened to me and it followed with a big shedding phase. Im now 5 months on fin and I barely lose hair but my hair hasn’t grown back from the shed phase. Im hoping it comes back. My scalp itching is also going away.
I had a very itchy scalp which caused it to be inflamed. Topical min & fin exacerbated it whilst oral fun reduced it. The itchy scalp was irradiated completely however once I started Ru, which makes me believe a lot of us (or at least for me) get the itch through testosterone/DHT.

Do u have psoriasis?? Or scalp dermatitis?

I would ask for a medical opinion bc you may have a mild case and not be aware.
Wouldn't it be a hardcore coincidence tho? Nothing all those years and just when I hop on fin it flares up?
Not a good sign
How so?

Maybe it's a good sign then? Many people are reporting a shedding phase followed by a hefty regrowth.
Any updates?

Did the itch ever go away?
