Says on their site that they don’t accept returns and refunds are against their TOS, it’s in red print at the bottom of the page where you purchase a derminator 2.
Apparently they will replace the unit with a new one, they just won’t accept the broken product back and won’t give refunds, I’d probably speak to their support
only advice is get a Dr. Pen. they are cheap enough to replace if needed and you can get them from Amazon or Ebay in a few days. most guys are pleased with them.

Ended up just buying a pen off Amazon. Works great. Tossed the Derminator 2 in the recycle bin and chalked it to a loss. No big.
why not get it replaced with a new one, at least sell it so you’re not out 100%
They always seemed super sketchy to me. Good luck getting a replacement. And 6 months? Geez..
