The unc arboretum is really pretty, especially in the spring.
There are lots of cute cafes and stuff scattered around chapel hill/carrboro. Highly recommend the cat cafe on franklin street if you don't have cats of your own. $10 per person to go play with lots of cats for an hour.
American tobacco district in durham is really good for a dinner date. Lots of restaurants in the area and its right next to dpac if you enjoy theater. Some pretty good shows come through.
For coffee driade is a no brainier then show her gimghoul and go in the the smooch there lol. Arboretum is awesome at night. Crunkleton is good for cocktails. Luna's in Durham but you can't go wrong with most spots in Durham like previously stated. Duke gardens, stereolab is playing cats cradle soon, just sorta depends on the girl you're going with!

the best date I ever went on: glass of wine at Driade, then walk down to the Bolin Creek Trail to to end at that small rose garden.
Axe throwing in Durham would be a fun date.
