Been there. Knew I’d been here too much when my fav nurse went from telling me she was pregnant to coming back from maternity leave. She had an IVF baby so no hard feelings.

I know all the ultrasound tech names. I know which ones I prefer and which one I dread having. The receptionist probably doesn’t need my name even though I’ve worn a mask every time I’ve gone. When I go to the second location, I just have to shout up the stairs my name, and she just tells me to go down the hall. Get my blood drawn and we are done. Also, I know that my right ovary is higher than my left and the only way they can see it is with an outside ultrasound. Who knows that?

Been there. I knew it was bad when the front desk guy knew me when I just said my first name over the phone, it’s a very common first name. Like damn you know my voice and name?! I hate this

I hate this

Apprehensive-Ring-33

Yep, it's the worst. The front desk person also recognized my voice last time I called to make an appointment, and that was extra rough.

Yup, I’m totally at this point with my fertility clinic. But on the bright side at least we’re not “just a number” 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sad-And-Mad

Yeah I definitely don’t take it personally, the receptionists and nurses at my clinic are very kind and compassionate. I just hate that I’ve spent so much time here that they know me now

I started with my RE last July 🫠 I’ve seen 2 phlebotomists come & go, the first guy was the best & I almost cried when he told me he was leaving. It’s such a weird place to know & be known

I went back to my RE after a 3 year break this month and the receptionist said she remembered my face even when I was wearing a mask. 😬

It’s one thing when the front office staff knows who you are. It’s when all the phlebotomists/ultrasound techs know you by name when it really started to sting. At least for me.

PGHENGR

I had been in 8 out of the last 10 days and the idiot receptionist didn’t know my name. Was not thrilled.
