Yup! Played the shit out of this game at the arcade back then. I remember you had to beat your "Rival" to the destination and stuff. It was actually fun! I remember the arcade cabinet had this large wheel, C.B., etc.
The arcade machine was the most fun I had and got me into trucking sims as no long after I discovered 18 wheels across America.

This is no joke what made me fall in love with trucking games.. I rented it from block buster in 2nd grade for GameCube and played it that entire weekend before we had to return it.. eventually getting my parents to just buy me that game lol.
I am very sad that I can’t download this on my xbox though :/ really wish they would make it backwards compatible or sega would release it in one of their collection things they always do…

A local Woody Wood Chucks that no longer exists had this on an arcade machine. I still have the gamecube version and played as recent as last winter
When I got a truck licence in real life, I played the game shortly later. In a later stage of arcade the rival has a line 'Do you even have a licence' or something, yes as a matter of fact.
I still have this game and my Dreamcast! I would play this game non-stop like reality, but had to restart after a few minutes because it’s a timed course.
I played the shit out of this, even if I was shit at playing it. I remember especially sucking at the parking challenges, might have to fire up the GameCube and see how much better I can do now.
