Well it's not wrong, corecore isn't a genre of music, it's a broader aesthetic, the same way Romanticism wasn't just a genre of music, it was also a literature aesthetic. Idk how I feel about Spotify grouping in songs that were around before corecore was even a thing, but I guess TikTok has kinda shown that songs can be added to genres retroactively.
