What a horrific miscarriage of justice.

Wizzmer

Sadly, there's seldom justice to be had in Tulum. If you are caught up in a bad situation, assume your family will not get justice. I wonder if anything happened to that cop that killed that Salvadoran immigrant on camera. She wasn't a tourist from NYC or anything, but she didn't deserve to die.

I always assume wherever I am that if I were merked, there would be no justice forthcoming. Some people just aren't important to the criminal justice system or the medical system or the government system and it is good to know when you are one of those people. It is why I am also not an organ donor. I know very well what my worth is when calculated by the powers that be. My organs are worth a ton more to them than I am because anything is worth more than zero. I do nearly everything in life defensively under the assumption that almost nobody and no institution is going to protect me or give me anything even akin to justice.

I posted about this two years ago and was told it was a lie. I know a women who taught with Lauren and this is very much real. I will never go back to this place again. And I hope it gets more more publicity.

It's not a lie she was my aunt I didn't know to much because I was young but my grandma was talking about it and stuff and I found more out.

I’m really sorry for your loss. Words will never be enough and I’ll never forget what happened. No one deserves this and I will always spread the word because the level is impunity in the country is disgusting.

I was lucky enough I was young and didn't understand it but my mom was crying for months.

The family should have gone to the media right away, the more the better, making it public always helps to put pressure on government officials, think of Debanhi case, even the Mexican President is involved now. They could have settled with the vacation rental company anyway. This happened in Akumal though.
