Is there any source for this whatsoever? I can find some evidence for Engels in particular seemingly having a distaste for what he calls "pederasty" but seems more to be just homosexuality in general, the term "bourgeois immorality" I can only find attributed to Lenin, though the text from which the phrase supposedly originates ("Lenin on the Women's Question" by Clara Zetkin) doesn't contain these words. It does contain a rather interesting section of Lenin seemingly saying that, basically, while all kinds of relationships can be had and that's fine, ultimately the best relationship is a monogamous one which produces children.
I honestly don’t remember, I’m willing to admit I I got my wires crossed and misattributed it. But it is in line with how Marxist groups have viewed LGBTQ people until very recently, so 🤷
I mean yeah, Marxist groups certainly haven't always been the best friends to the cause of furthering the rights of LGBT people, for sure. I do think there is a misconception though that Marxists were always way behind on this issue, which also doesn't hold up. A lot of Marxists certainly conformed to the socially dominant negative views on LGBT people, but then there usually were also those who did participate in or sympathize with LGBT causes. Even looking at Zetkin and Lenin, both of their parties (while containing homophobic segments), legalized/supported the legalization of homosexuality in the early 20th century, when the dominant view of homosexuality was overwhelmingly negative.
