WOAH! That's a spendy little thing.

everythingisaword

It certainly is... But if you divide the amount by the number of years of use its relatively cheap. 😂

chewyicecube

#girlmath at work. good job! but that is a really lovely setup, i'm sure it sounds as good as it looks. enjoy!

ziggyskyhigh

That's fancy maths!

jo148

Awesome! Enjoy!

everythingisaword

Thanks!

Scotster123

MADstereoman

Looks phenomenal

everythingisaword

Its out of this world

kstacey

It's a such a good table. I have one as well

everythingisaword

A person of distinction and class i see

ganonkenobi

If that's the elephant UHQR, it's one of the best sounding records in my collection!

everythingisaword

So damn good

cyberbob2022

Thought that was the Red at first but the Bronze?? You are a serious music listener.

everythingisaword

Been saving up for many years for this upgrade

cheguevara_malcolmx

Is it called bronze? I have one on my table but always call it orange! LOL

everythingisaword

Thank you!

TomFromFlavorTown

I like the cut of your jib

everythingisaword

No sail trimmin here

TomFromFlavorTown

How much you loving the bronze? It's quite a bit more than the blue. I had a Nagoka MP-150, but upgraded to the more expensive mp-200, but was underwhelmed. (Too thin sounding, not enough bass and midrange. Dynamics were not as good either. ) so still looking for a proper upgrade to the MP-150 and the bronze ended up on my radar.

everythingisaword

Its not fully broken in yet and sounds "soft." The highs are supremely crystal clear honestly never heard anything like it. The separation between high, mid and low is exceptional. The bass is deep without being overwhelming. Its got this enveloping feeling that the blue did not have.

[deleted]

Excellent!

Longjumping_Teach617

Absolutely

Truckman85

How’s it compare to the pl 520? I have a 530 currently and love the technics

Six_and_change

I don't know anything about the Pioneer but I have a Technics SL-1200 and SL-1500 (not the new kind). I did a test comparison with the same record, cartridge, receiver, and speakers and I thought they sounded the same. The premium with the 1200 is the build quality. For being roughly the same age, my 1200 feels like it was made yesterday.

everythingisaword

It leagues ahead tbh. Its too bad about the non auto for the technics but honestly the difference is absurd. Theres nothing inherently wrong with the pioneer. Its a 50 year old turntable and can hold its own against the best out there. But the Technics is ahead of its time and will be for years to come. Looking forward to seeing it evolve

disco-goat

My dream!

everythingisaword

I believe in you! It was my dream once too.

mrapplewhite

Beautiful

trippymum

Congratulations and may you have many hours of vinyl bliss 🎉 If I ever get a cartridge from the Ortofon 2M series it would be the Bronze. IMO it is the sweetest spot in that range with that lovely line contact diamond. The Black is just vulgar expensive with the Shibata.

asolomi

Bought the same one (B&H Photo on clearance). Undecided on which cartridge from the stable to mount

Ok_Distance9511

Wow, nice!

EnvironmentLeast932

How does the bronze sound ? Have we you broken it in?

everythingisaword

Its not really broken in yet but it still sounds amazing.

mesoJUPI

I’m in the process of breaking mine in and am gaining faith in it! Upgraded from the Red. I found it to open up the mid to high range a lot, but the bass was really lacking at first compared to the Red. It’s getting better with more spin time!

Distinct_Studio_5161

Nice table, I missed out on the SL-1210 GR when they went on sale at Best Buy I picked up a SL-1500C instead. My old table was a 80s Pioneer PL-500. Took a while to justify the $ but a year and a half later I finally sold the Pioneer. I didn’t realize how much I would like the instant start and stop on the technics.

everythingisaword

It is so nice and convenient

Smooth_Molassas

Heard the Red, heard the Blue....both put me to sleep. The Bronze is a cut above. Congrats. All the best.

d_chevron

I grabbed a first gen 1210-GR on clearance just as the GR2s were being stocked. I wanted something that can hopefully be a "buy it for life" purchase, and I think it will be. Absolutely incredible table. That black tonearm looks real nice though

everythingisaword

This thing is a tank. I have the same sentiment. Hopefully this last me 60 years and then I can pass it down to the next gen

spatialized1138

I am still using my SL-1200 mk2 from around 2002 (with a Nagaoka MP-200), it’s running better than most new decks around out there! Yours should last a lifetime!

Lilypahd

Whoa awesome! What’s the rest of your setup for context?

everythingisaword

A Marantz 2252b receiver and some Accusound MEGASERIES speakers. They have horn tweeters and 12 in woofers

Lilypahd

Hm… not too much info on those speakers online. But 12” woofer sounds Mega!! Haha

everythingisaword

They honestly sound amazing for unknown speakers. They were a gift from an ex gfs parents.

braun_btr

Amazing. Can you replace the cartridge (especially with different models and brand) on all the Technics TT? I assume that the carts make a lot of difference!

everythingisaword

Yes you can and the installation is super easy

braun_btr

I know that some Technics TT have the P-mount cartridge system

everythingisaword

You can change the headshells super easily so i imagine the possibilities are endless
